Overall, I had a really good experience with Enterprise. The team was super helpful and professional. I had booked an SUV, but since the previous customer returned it late, I was given a citadine instead. It wasn’t ideal for long drives or hiking, but the staff were very friendly and did their best to help—even if the delay pushed my plans a bit. The car was in good condition, and since I had full insurance and the fuel tank option, I returned the vehicle without any problems. The whole return process was quick and easy. Despite the small hiccup, the service was great, prices were competitive, and the staff made it a positive experience. I’d definitely rent with them again! But they are following policy, so as long as the car is returned in good condition, they won’t try to scam you.
When we arrived, the company informed us that our car had been rented to someone else since we got there with more than 2 hours of delay and they could not provide another car before three days, which seriously impacted our vacation as we had a tour planned with reservations for every night. Nobody ever informed us of this policy, particularly in the confirmation emails that we had. No compensation was provided, although we had to rent another car last minute and expended much more money. An absolute shame.

It was terrible. We had reserved 2 cars to hold 7 people. Upon arrival, they gave 2 cars to hold 5 people. They then called a different Enterprise location and we heard that one location had two cars that could hold 7 people. We were then driven from the original location to the other location. Upon arrival at the new location we were told we were only getting one of those cars and our other car would be the 5 seater from the original location. Of the two original cars, we were given the smallest. We reserved and paid for two cars to hold 7 people. While my reservation eventually met that requirement, the other reservation in the group did not. We are extremely dissatisfied with the outcome, the lack of communication, and the lack of cars as reserved in the first place.
Instead of taking an authorization of 500GBP, like every other rental place in the world, they took a deposit. When I called the call centre, even they were surprised. They took the money at 1.78CDN, and when returned, it came back at 1.66CDN. FOR A LOSS!!! BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM!! I won't be renting from Enterprise ever again after this.
