9.0 Excellent
Pros: I traveled over the Christmas holidays. The entire experience was awesome (first impressions, check-in, room, breakfast & dinner service, live Christmas entertainment and the Atlantic Ocean view!!). Special thanks to Ndongo Signate, his attention to customer service upon arrival was superb. I would defiantly stay again in this property.
Cons: Everything was great
5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice view from the terrace on Dakar bay
Cons: Terribly poor renovation... 2 lifts out of 3 out of service for hundreds rooms Food (fish) at the restaurant was very bad (how to make bad fish in Dakar?)
6.7 Good
Pros: Location and all facilities
Cons: The floors in our room was super dirty. We asked to change rooms only to find the floors quite filthy. Service is slow , but like in most parts in Senegal.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the center of Dakar and adjacent to the beach. Felt modern, but authentic to Africa. Amazingly friendly staff.
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent location in down town Dakar with a large pool on the beach just across a quiet side street behind the hotel. Recently refurbished, all the furnishings are very tastefully done with nice art. Great terrace overlooking the sea where we had breakfast and evening drinks. Fantastic sea views also from our suite. There was also a wonderful energy and buzz in the hotel lobby throughout the day. We will definitely stay again although service needs to improve.
Cons: Although some staff were excellent there was very clearly no service culture in the hotel. Security staff shouted at us because it was 2am and he didn’t want to have to help us with our bags when we arrived. The floor is swept and mopped around your feet if you arrive earlier than 9am for breakfast. We had to repeatedly ask for the air conditioning to be fixed.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Proximity to the sea
Cons: I organised a transport before arrival with the hotel and landing with two kids at 2am it never arrived. Then waited several hours for a replacement only to be left sitting in the replacement car for an hour as was clamped and the driver insisted I pay declamping or otherwise would not drive me - added double to the fare agreed. The hotel did try to check us in three hours early as an apology but then tried to charge a full rate for an additional day at check out. Food was average at best but charged 5* international pricing - staff were many but more infested in talking to each other than serving. To make things worse there was no restaurant in evening as the hotel was throwing a staff party but failed to inform us prior so with two kids after a long trip we were left with not many options. The hotel tour guide offered to escort us to a market but then took us to his friends shop where the staff were aggressive in trying to sell us expensive tat. This place doesn’t deserve to be part of Accord of which I am a frequent visitor. Completely misleading and would avoid

4.6 Okay
Cons: Might be the best hotel in Dakar but it is absolutely not a 5 star hotel in terms of amenities or services. Overpriced. Bathrooms are old, partly broken, the gym is a joke, the spa is not really part of the hotel etc.
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice, what you expect for this price.
Cons: You don't have an Africa feeling in this hotel. 3rd Night, 'could not book via booking.com', 'the there is a problem between booking.com and us story which you hear so much in Afrika' and they charged us the double, which my friend only noticed too late, so had to pay 305 euro's per night, in stead of 150 euro (which was already actually too expensive for what it is.)
7.0 Good
Pros: View from the room Hotel facilities
Cons: Cleaning to be improved Very bad wifi connectivity
4.2 Okay
Cons: The Hotel didn’t meet my expectations 1. They didn’t clean my room well and they didn’t change my Cup for the coffee, even oh I used it already. I complained about it and they don’t apologize me. 2. The bed wasn’t comfortable 3. Waiters weren’t friendly, they let me pay 14000 xof which I didn’t actually, I figured that while I was checking out and they put it back to my credit card 4. At my arrival day, the receptionist brought another guy to my room while I was sleeping and he came in to my room without knocking and wake me up, I was shocked when I see another guest and the receptionist in my room and he said, the system showed him the room is free. I tried to sleep after that but I wasn’t feeling safe at my whole stay. 5. Communication problem, most of the workers couldn’t speak English and it was very difficult to communicate. My all over stay was terrible. The saddest thing is after I have complained at my check out time but no one apologized that makes even the service worst.

Pros: Staff, gym, food.
Cons: This time it was overpriced, a bit disappointing because I stay there couple of weeks before and paid much less.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Garden view? Try view of aluminium slata and pieces of grass. No kettle, paid for milk for coffee. One towel. That will do. Poor value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was amazing and I enjoyed my brief stay there.
Cons: Room service for both dinner and breakfast was a disappointment because items were missing that were requested and even after repeated phone calls nothing happened to fix the issue. Additionally, had I booked the same room, for the same night at the same price on the Radisson Hotels website I would have had a free breakfast. Instead I paid for it.
7.5 Good
Cons: the breakfast lacks variety and boring. We stopped eating it on the 2nd day
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location is relatively good
Cons: The staff behaviors were very unprofessional. The restaurants were below average. The room was below average it terms of facilities and cleanliness

9.6 Excellent
Pros: You cannot find a lot of hostels in Senegal unfortunately, which is a shame as it is a great way to meet other travelers, especially if you travel alone. It is also in a quite area, near the beach The omelet for breakfast was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome hosts, really nice yard, spacious and clean rooms. And they have the cutest children! :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: despite the near the beach Location thanks to off-season special price I could go to the beach easily I was able to see Kitesurf for the first time It was a pity I couldn't watch djembe performances and dances at a nearby restaurant that it was not the top season I was happy to drink delicious espresso!
Cons: It would be better if the shower drain was running
7.9 Good
Pros: Very polite staff: Fabio and Fatima can give you many advices about Dakar and the test of Senegal too
Cons: A little bit expensive the breakfast and the food, but they supports a little NGO so it could be ok
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a quiet space in a chaotic city. Good facilities (it’s a nice house with a rooftop with a view of the ocean). The hostel was owned by a great couple with their family and it was located next to a nice beach filled with locals.
Cons: I preferred the location away from the full on center of Dakar, but getting transport away from this area cost a bit more. I think it was still worth being here however.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice house close to the beach in a really calm area far from the crazy city! Comfortable beds
Cons: It is 3 hours walking from the city center. The beach is almost imposible to swim... so big waves perfect for surf :)
7.1 Good
Pros: The location, a good price for this place
Cons: Only one shower in the entire property

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect
Cons: Breakfast can be improved, cut fruits would be a great addition, the rest is good. Some mineral water in the room would be appreciated.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed room
Cons: No bad experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, located in the city center, good price/quality ratio.
Cons: Breakfast should offer a healthier choice too.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location is ok in a quiet surroundings. But the breakfast is too boring. Had same breakfast of three types of bread, two butters, a jam, tea and orange juice every morning for 12 mornings without any change. Previous guests suggested that RYSAVA should change and improve the fixed breakfast half year ago. RYSAVA replied they would improve. But it seems that what I had for breakfast is same as that of half year ago.
Cons: Breakfast is not good for long-term stay guests. For short stay, like few days, it is ok.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel displayed a lot of dishonesty. They changed money for me and got me a cab only for me to pay the cab driver with the same currency and he claimed that the currencies were CFA2,000 as against CFA10,000 as given to me by the hotel. The hotel took side with him meaning they jointly defrauded me
Cons: They should improve the quality of breakfast server in the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fast internet and kind staff
Cons: Breakfast was poor
5.0 Okay
Cons: Very poor breakfast, limited facilities for a 4 star hotel.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything except the location. It’s in a nice part of town and people say there see good clubs in the area. But otherwise it’s a really long way from downtown Dakar’s sights, museums and markets.
Cons: See above
7.0 Good
Pros: I thought it was pricey for what you get. It is an old house, the furniture is French from the 20's or 30's. The room is old but generally clean, but for that price, I would have expected a nicer situation. I like to walk so I walked about 30 minutes to Ngor or Almadies, but not much immediately in the area.
Cons: Bath did not drain and water got all over bathroom.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice rooms, well decorated, calm and very clean. A good deal for a short stay expecially for those who knows Dakar well already.
Cons: A little disconnected from the main roads, no back up plan for breakfast during rainy season and no phone in the room for emergencies.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super clean. I have a very nice and big room, which is what I needed for this trip.
Cons: Breakfast is ok. It could be better.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood, a short taxi-ride to many good restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and the roof where they serve it is beautiful.
Cons: There a few things that could make this place a lot better. Like making sure there are towels and toilet paper in the room, instead of having to ask for them. The bathtub didn’t have a curtain, and every time you take a shower, it drowns the entire bathroom.
7.0 Good
Pros: Terrace was lovely to relax. Room and bed very comfortable. Location on quiet back street but can walk to sea and restaurants in about 30mins. Taxi ride to Goree island or Ngor island ferry. To get in you need to press a buzzer, which made me nervous as a solo traveller there would be no one to let me in at night. Only once though I needed to wait for the door to be opened.
Cons: Staff were not particularly welcoming or friendly. Expensive for a small room. Rust in the bath.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service. Intimate feel. Great views of Dakar from the rooftop terrace. Every room has it own identity so they are all unique.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Staff and in a convenient location. Service was really nice.
Cons: Can be kind of loud with a Mosque across the street but that’s very minimal.

6.5 Good
Pros: Hotel location was ok, friendly staff.
Cons: Rooms are getting old and a little damp. Got a sea-view which only gave me a partial view. Booking through Kayak/Getaroom included breakfast but hotel charged me for it.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The staff was awesome specially madame Comba front desk manager or supervisor. She made our anniversary great Thanks Comba
Cons: Wifi was not working
6.8 Good
Pros: Huge hotel. Very kind staff.
Cons: Old rooms. Smells bad
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clea common area. Food and personal are good.
Cons: Rooms are old and not really fresh, the carpet was definitely a bad idea. I don't know what they did with the closet but it felt like they kept cats in there as it smells like cat piss. There is no real beach because it is small and quite dirty, and the ocean is not attractive.
7.7 Good
Pros: It was clean, staff friendly and helpful and food was very good.
Cons: The internet reception was abysmal, barely could view any graphics or photos, forget video. The carpet and furniture need replacing. Some of the lawns around the facility needed attention. My closet smelled musty, toilet ran constantly. The room doors need replacing too as they slam when closing them, very noisy. Back in it's day this must have been awesome.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was exceptional from reception, to the concierge, to the people in the restaurant. I just happened to be there at the perfect time and got to go to a Youssou N'Dour concert on the property. Tickets were only $50USD for VIP seats. The pool area was lovely as well, but I didn't get to partake. The food at the restaurant was delicious.
Cons: The facilities and decorations in the room are old. There were rust stains in the toilet and sometimes I had to let the water run so that the brown water would pass first. The wifi was ok...sometimes it went out for patches of time.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable at the end of long days exploring the city. The shower was nice and hot and the cocktails were strong.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location is good
Cons: Old and unwelcoming, standard rooms feels claustrophobic and cleanliness is questionable. Wifi is poor, hair dryer is 50 years old, minibar empty. Stayed only one night and glad I did. Will never go back, same price as the Pullman but not comparable at all.
4.2 Okay
Cons: Not good value for money. Does not help with airport transfers, pick ups. No upgraded for accor members
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great. Hotel is comfortable
Cons: The toilet seat and the showers are not in the same area in the room. The toilet seat is in a small room you feel like you are sitting inside a closet. Also I think it was a bit over priced.
7.0 Good
Cons: Maybe a lesser quality maintenance than a few years ago
7.0 Good
Pros: The restaurant was good, and the iftar formula excellent for Ramadan.
Cons: The air conditioner was just limit. I changed room to experience more or less the same experience.

Cons: Nothing
5.4 Okay
Pros: Despite my bad experience I can say There was a great view, helpful staff, decent wifi
Cons: Hot water didn't work! Also, it seems like they need to invest in some updates, things were outdated and my phone or hair dryer didn't work also. I was given a small discount because I complained a lot about the water, but I think this hotel is overpriced and you can find something both cheaper and much nicer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic swimming pool
Cons: The breakfast could be richer...
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and well kept. There are both English speaking and french staff.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Location is great, walking distance to anything in centre ville. Beautiful ocean front deck with good cocktails. Hospitable and helpful ataff
Cons: I stayed in one of the non ocean facing rooms, and it was just depressing. Tiny window, halogen lights and a foam mattress. Very loud when people were in the hall way. The location of the hotel is great but you don't feel it in the rooms. Other places are cheaper and similarly located in the ville. For this price the rooms aren't worth it.Wouldn't go again.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Location was nice. View can't be beat
Cons: There are literally 112 steps to get into the hotel. Carrying luggage down that sucked! Also, the room was ok but not luxurious by any means. For the price, you could stay at a much better hotel closer to the city center. Also, they don't even leave the lights in the hallway on. Imagine carrying luggahe down 112 steps then taking an unairconditioned elevator to your room then stepping off into a dark hallway with no 2indows and lights off. Creepy! Each room had a tiny unit ac. Definitely not worth the price. We ended up checking out eau and moving to the pullman!
