Pros: What a great experience from the beginning to the end . Friendly and welcoming owners, the room was super clean, nice clean sheets comfortable bed, bathroom spotless. Breakfast was perfect. I highly recommend this place.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I arrived late and left early, but they were extremely accommodating and friendly.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: This was a great B&B! I was hoping for a good night sleep near the airport and I think I was lucky to spend it in Shantalla Lodge Bed. It is 20 minutes from city center and easily accessible by the bus. Moira was very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: The bed was average comfort.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I would definitely stay here again if I'm looking for somewhere close to Dublin airport. Shantalla Lodge is great value, very clean and well located. Keith was lovely and very helpful when I arrived and and even offered to get gluten free breakfast items for me for the next morning, which I had to decline due to an early flight. I've already told my sister to check it out next time she's heading to the airport!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Moira was a lovely host, very welcoming. The bed/bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good as well.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Host was friendly and helpful. We felt welcome as soon as we were greeted at the door. Breakfast was particularly special!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very welcoming. Close to airport and public transport. Arranged early morning taxi.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean, comfortable, breakfast was great, & the owners were very friendly & helpful!! Located right near a bus stop that was very convenient to get around!
Cons: Surprised that it wasn’t air conditioned; however, we were able to sleep with the window open, so we remained comfortable.
Good 7.5
Pros: Very warm welcome. Nice and friendly landlady who gave lots of good advice to public transport and tourist activities. Clean room with a shower which offers a decent jet of water. Good breakfast - different menus to choose. As we had to leave before 6am to catch our early flight we got a breakfast to take along.
Cons: The walls between the rooms upstairs are so thin that you can hear everything through it. Important to know as the double room with garden view is located next to the bathroom shared by several rooms.... The breakfast is limited to one of the menus offered. Means half a glass of orange juice per person only, my request for a yoghurt to add to a bowl of cornflakes wasn't possible (milk only available).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely hosts, nice rooms, excellence breakfast choices. Great plaxe to stay. Since we couldn't attend the breakfast at the last day (had to leave early for the airport), we even got a breakfast to go - thanks again very much!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The beds were soft
Cons: That breakfast was extra at a B & B. Although it was very good!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was perfect and made getting to key places in Dublin. The breakfast was excellent and the owners were very helpful. I normally struggle sleeping at other places than my own home--I slept great at this B&B!
Cons: No complaints.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very helpful hosts. Good location
Cons: Small double room but good for the price.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The most amazing about this accommodation was the breakfast. Every morning we could choose between 5 types of breakfast all served with tea or coffee, toasts, butter and jam. The hosts were very sweet and polite. There is a bus stop in front of the house and a supermarket 5 min walking. There was heating. If I visit again Dublin I will choose the same accommodation.
Cons: I didn't like the size of the room - for Ireland and UK small sized rooms are widespread, but I am not used the bed to take the whole space of the room. We had some difficulties with controling the water temperature of the shower.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great breakfast, location is really good, near from the airport and to the city center also, just need to take one bus.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was clean, modern and had air conditioning (in a country with very few hotels or B&Bs with A/C). The shuttle bus ran regularly and on time. It's very convenient to the airport.
Cons: The bathroom needs upgrading. The shower/bathtub is awkwardly shaped and the curtain sticks to you. Also, they need fans in the bathrooms to extract the humidity.
Okay 5.0
Cons: We had no hot water in our room. It took 3 phone calls before the receptionist would send up someone from maintenance and it then took a further 20 minutes before he could fix the problem. The member of staff that served us in the bar was extremely rude, she walked away after I asked her a question and also threw her eyes up to heaven at a simple request to pay by card. I was there for an event which we paid €95 for and there was no choice on the menu and the portion size was tiny. For a 4 star hotel this is not the service you would expect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding and was a good bargain if you pay for it with your room.
Cons: The heating system in the room held the temperature at 19 degrees with no possibility to change it. This was a little cold for me.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Room was fab clean
Cons: We were asleep and the room attendant tried to come in gave us some fright this was at 8.10 they should no if people are checked out or not. I didn't have option to include breakfast so we had to pay extra 19 euro each.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Always consistently good. Great staff, very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast is first class with a variety to suit every taste including vegan. Very high standard in cleanliness and comfort - beds are very good and black out curtains allow a good nights sleep. We keep going back
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely hotel, fabulous decor in the rooms and corridors. The lady at reception was extremely efficient and pleasant to deal with
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Close to airport , modern, large rooms . Most of staff were great .
Cons: Noisy at night ( sounded like a disco was happening until small hours) of a Friday night. Witnessed a manager speaking with zero respect towards 2 reception staff . Thought it was a guest first and was tempted to intervene. Quickly realised it was a senior staff member . Such a pity ! This is a nice hotel . Treat your staff well and you will get it back in spades .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great sized rooms, comfy beds, everything you could want in the rooms, and the staff are lovely and helpful
Cons: N/a
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great room. They had outlets for international chargers. Front desk helpful and friendly.
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly service at the front desk and in the restaurant.
Cons: The promised free Crowne Plaza shuttle bus could only hold about 10 people and there were more than twice that waiting at the designated pick-up area. We ended up paying for an Uber ride ourselves in order to get to the hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was too notch, from the smart phone on offer in my room to the comfortable bed to the fantastic dinner I had in the hotel restaurant Touzai. I'll definitely be back.
Cons: Nothing.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The easy access to the airport. Friendly staff, quick check in, comfy bed
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The handy shuttle bus. Big comfortable room and bed. Very clean. Great shower with a bath. Bar food very good. Really nice atmosphere. Very pleasant staff.
Cons: Couldn't fault it !
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Ideally situated near to the Airport, on site parking at a reasonable rate, you can’t go wrong
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Close to airport but much nicer than typical airport hotel exp. great bar and restaurant Shuttle service very good
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast. Absolutely friendly staff. We always enjoy our stay here
Cons: Have stayed in this hotel numerous times as we travel a lot. For the first time i felt the standard falling a bit. There were white disgusting stuff inside the basin water outlet. There was not shamppo or bath soap inthe bathroom. When we asked someone came up to our room with just 2 small tablets. We were a family of 4. I had to wait for cleaning staff inthe morning to ask for shampoo etc
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good shuttle service to & from Airport. Driver very friendly & helpful.
Cons: Would have preferred a cheaper price as we were only able to sleep there for a few hours as our flight left very early the next morning
Good 6.5
Pros: Resturant was convenient and food was good. Pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: Like many European hotels the american amenities were lacking, unfortunately we weren't carrying basics as the stay was last minute and unplanned, the ability to shower would've gone a long way. TV channels were very basic (maybe 20?) and at least half were not in English. But it beat spending the night in the airport for sure.
Okay 5.0
Pros: "close" to airport with shuttle service
Cons: Too pretentiously for my taste.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The shuttle was right to pick you up
Cons: The food was quite expensive and portions were small
Excellent 10.0
Pros: 24/7 access, very flexible on eating arrangements Free shuttle bus to/from the airport
Cons: No
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Easy airport access with shuttle bus.
Cons: Somewhat noisy because of arrival of other guests - notably aircraft crew. Parking was horrendous and there was almost no baggage carts in the parking area.
Good 6.0
Pros: The location is very convenient to the airport.
Cons: They nickle and dime you for everything.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff is great and they go above to make your stay great.
Cons: Is a bit far from the city center. But the bus stops just across the street from the hotel and a 10 min ride to down town.
Good 7.4
Pros: Checkout time of 12. Friendly staff. Convenient location (close to city center and airport):
Cons: No air conditioning made sleeping difficult a few nights. The double room had 3 beds (two doubles and one queen) instead of two queens. No couch or armchairs in the room.
Good 7.4
Pros: Location was convenient and non-room facilities and restaurant were quite nice.
Cons: We we reserved and were sold “an executive king” with a view and upon arrival were told no such accommodation exists (caution!). in fact, our executive king was actually a quite small king room, with a view of parking lot and busy street and no air conditioning. It turns out that is situation with many of the hotel’s rooms. The only way to get ventilation is to open a window which gives you much highway noise. Not at all a restful setting.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The breakfast was good
Cons: The location was not ideal..
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Second time we’ve stayed at the Skylon, friendly and helpful staff
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was nice and clean and it was lovely and warm and quiet. The breakfast was substantial with plenty to eat.I would be happy to stay again.
Cons: The parking is very scarce especially if you one up from the country you expect to have parking for your stay.
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff friendly as always
Cons: Change the toilet paper for heaven"s sake
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room was spacious but very warm. However there was a fan available in the room. Fan in bathroom didn’t work
Cons: Too warm and fan in bathroom didn’t work.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Bar staff very friendly, and food was very high standard.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Helpful, friendly staff at both the front desk and bar/restaurant. Comfortable clean rooms with nice amenities. Location was easy to get to and easy to get to the airport the next day.
Cons: Carpeting in room had a few stains, and the cart for dirty room service dishes outside the elevator a bit tacky.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location
Cons: No
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the room was excellent! the bed was so soft and comfortable! also the hotel staff was so helpful and very nice! it was a great experience all around!!!!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: very good
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: nothing the food was awful had to send back my meal turkey dinner the manager in fairness to him did not charge me for it the potatoes were awful not creamed the rost potato was hard and the vegg was either off or dirty i asked for a disabled room!! i got a room on the 3rd floor with no disabled bathroom or any facilities
Cons: i would not recomend it for disabled people 3rd floor is not disabled and no bathroom facilities in theroom for disabled people
Good 7.7
Pros: Peace & quiet
Cons: nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I had the same room as in pictures, clean, nice, just excellent. The location is perfect. Close to the airport (20 min by bus 16a) and very close to the city center (10 min by any bus). Bus stop is next to the hotel. In the neighbourhood are Tesco, a Thai restaurant (very good and not expensive), kiosk, Croke Park. This is the best place to stay in Dublin.
Good 6.8
Pros: valuable price for money, longer walking distance to the city centre
Cons: $review.cons

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast was not bad. Room is clean, spacious enough, reception fiendly. 10 minutes from airport and about 40 minutes till O'Connell street by bus, with taxi it took about 15minutes
Cons: We stayed for 4 nights. There were some instant coffee and 2 tea bags in the room, we had tea the first evening but the tea was not supplemented later. So 2 teabags for several days. No vegetables for breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing, the girl that did our check-in gave us a lot of information about the city, she was a nice person, the breakfast was great, they have a free shuttle from the hotel to the airport, wich help us a lot
Cons: I liked everything.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great room!! Clean room and comfortable bed!!
Cons: Staff was problematic if you’re not multi-lingual.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean. Comfortable bed. Modern fixtures. Close to airport. Nearby restaurant. Affordable. Shuttle to airport
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I arrived a lot earlier and the initial staff was not friendly. I went next door to the Carlton and staff was very accommodating. I checked in later to the Holiday Inn and morning staff was a lot better/friendly. The location is only good for one night.
Cons: The earlier male staff was not friendly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place was brilliant and the staff really friendly and helpful
Cons: A very small thing , not enough tea bags or milk in the rooms , we arrived to find there was only two tea bags
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location and the facility were great. Very convenient for a flight early am.
Cons: The staff was not as friendly as we became accustomed to in Ireland.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast area clean and comfortable
Cons: No wash cloths
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super clean and modern rooms, lobby and eating area. It is very close to the car rental drop off and connected to the Crown Plaza which had a great bar and good food.
Cons: It was all good
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room, comfort, breakfast, staff, shuttlebus. Will return
Good 6.0
Pros: Location to the airport and there is a free shuttle to and from the airport. Free breakfast and if you cannot avail of it due to leaving on an early flight just ask at reception the night before to pick up a breakfast to go for the morning. Staff were accommodating when I rang down to reception when the heating in the room was not working.
Cons: When we walked in the room it had a kind of smell. Not sure of, I think it smelled like food maybe it was coming from a near by Vent. Room was cold as the heating system was not working. So ended up getting a heater and extra blanket. Not entirely clean (I seen some hair left in the shower on the glass). Didn’t realise the hotel did not have its own restaurant, only a buffet area for breakfast area and a bar.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Value for money
Cons: Buld missing from bedside light blood stain on duvet cover and plastic bottle left under the bed.

Good 7.5
Pros: Responsiveness of the staff. It was warm. Decent value. Nice parking. Amazing hair dryer. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Very small. No shelves in the shower so bending over for the shower products was difficult. Maybe some arrows on the heaters to know which direction to turn it. They key.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location is convenient for getting to and from the airport, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Beds are not very comfortable, the bathroom is very small.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff was top notch, friendly and always ready for you
Cons: Rather small shower cabin, not suitable for large people
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very Nice Good VALUE
Cons: iT WAS JUST FINE
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Just a few miles from the city centre and the bus stop was just across the street. The numbers 16 and 41 buses go from the airport right to the B&B. Extra bonus: you can store your luggage for the day at no extra cost. This was very helpful as we were able to do what we wanted without lugging our bags around all day. Andre, in the office, was very nice and helped us with recommendations.
Cons: I didn't realize that breakfast was not included in the price. It costs extra.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very clean, warm, quiet despite being by the busy road, bus stop in front of the property
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Simple, Basic,, Modestly Comfortable, Straight Forward, Clean & Functional Accommodation with a very good location to Dublin Bus Transit Stop and easy access to Dublin Airport. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was very nice - Good Selection.
Cons: Stayed 2 different times and was a bit confused by Breakfast sometimes being included and sometimes being an extra cost. Not a big deal, was just a little confusing.

Pros: Very comfortable bed . A bright airy room that was well insulated for sound .A very good buffet breakfast .
Cons: The cost of overnight parking
Excellent 8.0
Pros: More of plug points near the bed
Good 6.0
Pros: Close to bus into city.
Cons: Twin beds! Few power outlets. No place for luggage.
Poor 1.0
Pros: None
Cons: The staff are not friendly and not helpful. There is a rule that 5 people cannot sleep in the room even a family of 5. They offer us a ridiculous price from 2am and check out at 7am. The hotel shuttle ends at 12:30. Overall, bad hotel experience.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Having to pay for wifi is bit of a joke in 2019...

Excellent 9.5
Pros: I liked the accessibility to both the airport and the city centre! Also the local area was lovely and the staff could recommend nice bars and restaurants. The facilities were great with 2 bars on site and good breakfast too. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and quiet at night.
Cons: Residents bar closed early the night we were there and also you had to pay for parking
Excellent 8.0

Excellent 8.8
Pros: Convenient location, friendly staff, suited purpose perfectly
Cons: N/A
Good 7.5
Pros: Clean rooms, comfy beds, cosy in the winter. Handy location if you have business in nrt Co Dublin / airport area.
Cons: Parking is a bit hit and miss.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Convenient, spotless clean, pleasant staff, no fussyness and nice food and menu. Always a nice stay
Cons: Parking is sometimes restricted due to residential location... but not a reason to not consider staying
Good 6.7
Pros: The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious.
Cons: The hotel was very run down with paint chipping off the walls and skirting boards. The bathroom door in my room was difficult to open too. The staff did not engage very well with customers and there was very limited parking available. Breakfast only available from 7am which is frustrating if you have an early flight. No shampoo and conditioner available.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent airport shuttle bus service and clean, comfortable room.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The bed was amazing! Toilette clean and spacious. Staff is helpfull and friendly aswell.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean and warm with extremely helpful and friendly staff
Okay 4.0
Pros: The free airport shuttle.
Cons: My room was 80 degrees and didn't get much cooler. I realize most (perhaps even all) business in Ireland don't feel like they need a/c when the island stays cool. However, in a fourth story hotel room that has been baked by the sun all day, you either need to have a/c or windows that open more than an inch to cool the room. It took an hour and 3 requests to get a couple of tiny, tabletop fans. The staff at the desk and the porter were very unhelpful. I had just wanted to spend a night resting between flights, but that didn't happen. I should have spent my money elsewhere.

Okay 4.0
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: Terrible wifi that isnt included. Breakfast is expensive with poor selection and worse quality
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: price and was only available
Cons: This place is a real pit. It is attached to a set of apartments that are tenaments at best. Garbage everywhere rough neighborhood.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Breakfast very good, staff great, rooms clean, quick check in.
Cons: No reflection on the staff, the location was not a nice area.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hotel was in good proximity to airport and Dublin city centre.
Good 7.0
Pros: Usual Travelodge, did exactly what it says on the tin. Fine cheap room for the night, slept well. Very happy with value for money.
Cons: Partially my own fault for not examining it enough but calling this place 'Dublin Airport South' makes it sound more appealing than it actually is in terms of location. It's in the middle of Ballymun. Took me 20-ish minutes to get to the airport in traffic from there.
Good 7.0
Pros: Very businesslike staff, got checkin done quickly and anticipated my needs for taxi and alarm call. Very comfortable bed. Good WiFi
Cons: Could be a bit more brightly lit outside. Didn’t seem the place to linger too long. I did arrive at midnight to be fair, might be different during the day.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No air conditioning , no ice , no fridge, no proper bar, telephone could not make calls out, terrible location. Not safe to go out at all.
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff all very helpful and courteous
Cons: Concerned about personal safety in the area
Okay 4.0
Pros: Location and security were great.
Cons: Room was not clean at all. Stains all over the carpet, food on the curtains
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Leaving
Cons: this is not an airport hotel! It's miles away! Room was dirty, light bulbs were broken, shower was broken, bed was broken, staff were rude, TV was broken. I'm an experienced budget hotel guest, but this is taking the biscuit.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Clean well appointed room
Cons: Deceptive!shuttle bus to airport -not avaible after 2 hr wait, told he went home early+15 Euro'staxi, room window stuck up with bugs all night, courtyard conversations ,Seedy area ,not close to airport as represented ,15 minaway.Beggars/addictsin
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Mattresses
Cons: Location, misrepresentation of amenities, location, dirty, price,
