Pros: We selected hotel EVA in Faro for location and value for money. Both were excellent. The hotel is in the same building as the bus station for the lines from faro to Sevilla, Spain, and at the same time 200m from the old town.

Pros: Hotel Eva is a very pleasant place with helpful staff and great facilities, which makes it an ideal place to stay in faro,If their is a down side it would be that their can be some street noise but this depends on which room you are staying in as to the level of noise that you will hear.

Pros: Breakfasts excellent and great to sit beside the window on the top floor sipping coffee and watching planes approaching the airport, with the marina below. Overall the hotel provides very good for money. Internet booking saved about 7 euros per night While we were there we booked an extra night for a fortnight later and were given suite style accommodation for that night, which was excellent recently refurbished accommodation. Swimming pool on the roof is a real bonus, with excellent views across the coastline. Accommodation very central, excellent position.There is a busy street below and the main bus and coach station, however, two layers of double glazed doors and thick curtains means that sleep is not a problem Other guest reviews I had seen were not as positive about the hotel as I thought they could be.

Pros: Hotel Monaco went above and beyond what we were expecting. We read the reviews on here and thought we would take a chance as we were on a budget. The hotel was impeccably clean though, with new feeling linen, fresh looking interior and decor to match. The room was really nice, and big, with a balcony (you must ask for a balcony room), and there is buffet breakfast every morning which is actually very good!! There is fresh fruit, cereals, milk, nesquik, tea, coffee, scrambled eggs, fresh rolls, ham, cheese, sausages, yoghurts and juice. A great way to start the day!! We had no problem with noises, and the cleaners were very trustworthy and did very good jobs on the room daily. The staff were all helpful and very kind. Fantastic!!!

Pros: Very convenient for airport for early or late arrivals and departures and have used it for most of these situations. Also good value as it is well placed for motorway connections, also Faro centre.

Pros: We needed a hotel near to the airport and were more than pleased with Hotel Monaco. Friendly efficient service, good quality room, good breakfast choice. Helpful with booking a taxi the next morning.

Pros: The Residencial Afonso lll was a great place for us to stay as we were flying out of Faro at 6 am. It is a 2 min walk from the train station and seemed to be in a good location. Staff was fantastic and very eager to assist with directions, information etc. Rooms were small but comfortable. A very nice place, for the budget traveller.
