10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really really nice! Especially the door man and the receptionist from Croatia! He made the check in process very easy, and kept on asking if we need anything. The place is just beautiful that we cancelled so many places we had to see in Florence just to stay and enjoy the hotel. I wish I could return to this place with someone one day ;)
Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value. Great location. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Very nice room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, room service, breakfast, accommodations, but ask for extra pillows. Also, elevators are super slow, but do not despair as other facilities make up for it. Do not walk with luggage to hotel is the only holdback as streets are tough for luggage. Center to sightseeing. As the saying goes, "do not judge a book by its cover", as this hotel's small corner entrance does not do the interior justice. It is truly a **** hotel. No gimmick.
Cons: Elevator
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Localization, localization. Clean, quiet, comfy room and bed. Nice bathroom. Helpful reception, smiling. Very good breakfast. Awesome small bar upstairs.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location , Location , Location near yo all attraction and all within walking distance Staff
Cons: Parking for 35 € per night Unfortunately was so loud because of the music played until midnight our kid couldn’t sleep will after that we up grade for the suite was ok but bathroom was a disaster Breakfast could be more generous as we in Italy land of food
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are good, free water, bar is good. Breakfast is nice and sitting lounge is cozy. The breakfast staff are hands down some of the most hospital ladies we came across.
Cons: The hotel claims to be wheel chair accessible, the rooms arent ! There are multiple steps between old and the new building. More over the lift in the new building is connected via floor 1 so youd have to go through two lifts if your room is in the new building. The rooms in the new building are worth it though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Near Ponte vecchio
Cons: Center of town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!! Accommodations, location, charm, Comfort, Cleanliness & kind /helpful staff. Just perfect! Plus the amazing quality breakfast! Would stay there again & again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very close to the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful room, with lots of luxurious little touches. The view I had was very good. I will forever enjoy the memory of opening my windows to listen to the sounds of Florence below. The rooftop bar was wonderful. The view from the top was great and the service from the bar staff was also top notch. Honestly, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Italy, and the biggest reason why is the staff. The cleaning staff keeps everything looking sharp and tidy. My room was spotless. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful with any request I made, helping me find a jewelry shop off Ponte Vecchio, getting taxis for me, making reservations and recommendations, and doing it all with a smile and in a very friendly manner. They are the shining jewel of this establishment.
Cons: The only thing I can think of that wasn't absolutely perfect is the wifi range. In many places, I could only get two bars, but I could get three in many places as well, so this is a minor problem.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Location in central Florence is perfect for exploring the city. Staff is helpful and attentive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was amazing. Rachel at the front desk helped us in every way. The rest of the front desk staff were all fantastic. The upgraded room was deeply thoughtful. I would recommend hotel very highly.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: one of the tastiest hotel breakfast. The most delicious and fresh croissant I have eaten. Fabulous selection of fruits, yohurts, cold meat, and pastries. Coffee was great
Cons: nothing to complain about
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff makes concessions, treat the guests well
Cons: A completely ordinary hotel, no different from cheaper and more central, the location is not too convenient, the territory is standard. Nothing spatial
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was some sort of a palazzo for some historical figure. Whole experience was different than Rome, rooms were more spacious, and Florence pace of life is much more accomodating than the hustle of Rome. Hotel was clean, spacious and staff were gracious hosts. Look forward to go back to Florence and the same hotel. Lot of eateries and bistros nearby...
Cons: All was well done, cant think of any issues that we didnt like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our first stay at the Relais Santa Croce... we chose it because our previously favoured hotel in Florence has closed. The decor is splendid... it is a former aristocrat's palazzo and the position, just to the east of Santa Croce church and Piazza was both central but just far enough away from the main areas to still be quiet at night. The staff, led by the lovely Flora, we all excellent and very helpful with advice and bookings. The steered us to several neighbourhood restaurants that we all excellent that we would have never found by ourselves. Value for money? My view that while the hotel is not cheap, it is more than worth the price you pay for the excellence of the experience and the staff's dedication to the spirit of hospitality. We will return.
Cons: The two lift system was a little confusing, and some of the armchairs in the magnificent lounge were not very comfortable, although they looked great.
Milu Hotel - Florence - Bedroom
7
9.4 Excellent (405 reviews)
S$ 343+
Overview Reviews
Located in Florence (Duomo), Milu Hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location sets this apart. Absolutely fantastic spot for a base for exploring the City. If you like high end shopping (not a luxury we could afford but many will), this is on the same road as Gucci, Armarni and even though we didn't shop there there was a feeling you were staying in the "posh part of town" - which is a treat. The staff were also incredibly helpful and polite. Would return.
Cons: Not enough space to eat breakfast indoors, but this is a very very minor gripe.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Everything was as it should be for a four star hotel. Attention was paid to every detail in maintaining the facilities and to our needs or requests. We will return again for another week.
Cons: Of the 10-12 staff we interacted all but two were very pleasant and efficient with two exceptions that worked at the front desk. But given management’s quality efficiency I suspect it will be corrected. Other than this one issue he hotel was exceptional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is very good, close to everything. The staff are very helpful. The room came with free snacks. We had to leave before breakfast started, but they made take away bags for us.
Cons: The room was a little small, but that's Europe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is super kind and location is amazing. There is a pantry where you can find coffee and tea, this was very suitable as weather was not the most friendly. I recommend this place and will stay here again without hesitation. Nice breakfast too.
7.5 Good
Pros: I really liked the staff, they were so friendly and helpful full with energy and positivity. Liked the rich breakfast, variety of food. Loved the view from the balcony.
Cons: Rooms are very small, we couldn't find a place for our languages. There were damages in the room, for example scratch on the wall and shower box leeks water outside the shower box to the floor. Needs to be fixed in room 503.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. They also have a self-serve espresso machine and water in the breakfast area for anytime use. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious for Europe standards.
Cons: Everything was great!
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Nice boutique hotel. It's the perfect location if you want to shop at the design shops (Gucci, Prada, etc.). Otherwise, it's about a 5-15 minute walk to all the main tourist sites. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is free WiFi and a nice breakfast from 7:30 - 10:30 am.
Cons: No real complaints, but there's not much of a hotel bar. There is a bar area in the same room where breakfast is served, but you need to call the front desk to ask someone to come serve you, so I didn't bother. You will probably want to go out for dinner/drinks instead. I just remembered that I couldn't get the TV remote to change stations, but since almost all stations were in Italian and I didn't spend much time in the room, I didn't ask the staff to help resolve that little issue. But I'm sure they would have helped.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location and very quiet comfortable rooms
Cons: Slight smell indicating plumbing/sewage problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is the best The hotel design is very modern and artsy The breakfast was always amazing The unlimited coffee and hot choco and water on the fifth floor lounge made the place special
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best decision ever to spend all 4 of our nights in Tuscany here. The hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Firenze. While from the outside it may look like any of the historical buildings on Via de Tornabuoni, as soon as you step inside, you are transported to a gallery of sorts, of modern, eclectic art. A neat contrast to the city and a feature that your mind and eyes will truly appreciate after 3 days of heavy Renaissance! Speaking of which, every major sight is not more that 10 minutes away by foot. Some of the best food and drink are at your doorstep, as well. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay special. From helping us with reservations before we arrived to recommendations throughout our trip and to finding solutions on how to best ship our many bottles of wine home. Bruno, Eva, Sara and Cristella really made us feel like we were home away from home. Thank you very much guys! Thank you especially to Bruno for helping us change our train tickets at the nth hour! We will definitely be staying here every time we are back in Florence.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Eden Rock Resort - Fiesole - Bedroom

9.2 Excellent
Pros: we've stayed before and it was just as good, A really lovely peaceful oasis 15 mins bus ride from central Florence.
Cons: loved everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: very nice breafast, location exceptional and room excellent
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The balcony room which we stayed was fantastic. A large space complete with table and chairs and a 2 seater sofa, and the views over Florence and the hotel pool were amazing. The room was large with a separate living room with kitchen, containing a hob, sink, fridge, dishwasher, dinner service and a nespresso coffee machine (50 cents per pod). The bedroom was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and a large comfy bed and this led onto the bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and sink. The shower wasn't the best, space and pressure wise, but the view out of the window made up for that. You also get the use of a mobile phone to use the internet and make phone calls whilst you're staying there, something I've never seen before and a great touch. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with a good selection of meats, cheeses, pastries and cereal and you could have eggs cooked to order. We had an evening meal twice and both times the food was great, the wine we chose also great and reasonably priced. Lastly all the staff we met were friendly and approachable and we'd definitely stay here again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our 5 nights at Eden Rock Resort. The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and provided more than we needed. The hotel has a nice pool though too cold while we we there last week. In the summer it should be perfect. The breakfast was plenty with fresh baked omelts or other variantions. We enjoyed a cocktail at the bar and had a nice truffle pasta and wine in the restautant. There is a busstop right outside the hotel for when you return from the city. Going to the city you had to walk 800m alongside a road or the hotel would provide a drop off. The bus is perfect to visit Florence, it costs just €1,50 which you can pay with creditcard (nfc) and has a 20min schedule so just a short wait. So if you like the busy city during the day but want to relax at night Eden Rock is the place for you.
Cons: Situated on a mountainside the entrance/exit is steep and visibility of oncomming traffic was somewhat hard. The garage parking was not included in the price of the stay. I might have overlooked that at the moment of booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Immensely accommodating staff, impeccable views, and quiet, serene and relaxing environment. Would come back and stay anytime. Could not speak highly enough about this place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service! Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is stunning and the facilities are perfect. We would definitely recommend this place... :-)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved our spacious apartment and terrace with amazing views of Florence. We loved being a short distance away because we got away from the really busy pace of the centre of the city. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, including dropping down at the bilus stop for the short trip into the city centre.
Cons: Dining room lacked a bit of atmosphere.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was clean and had good views.
Cons: The service was definitely not up to par with the premium charged. The shower was weak, the breakfast was mediocre, they charge extra €12 for room service despite already charging a high premium for the room rate. They also charge €0.50 to use the coffee machine in your room which I’ve never had a hotel charge for coffee before. I was served my coffee in a dirty unwashed cup that had lipstick marks on and the staff didn’t even seem that apologetic. Won’t be staying here again when in Florence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view and hospitality.

Distance to railway is about 2km,: 20-30min by walking even with suitcase, about 10 minutes for all points of interest. Breakfast rich and good enough. Room and facilities in fine condition, Beautiful view from room's window (Superior Double room). Staff is friendly and ready to help.

Pros: Excellent location, service, breakfast. Fantastic team.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The balcony in our room with a great view of florence! Amazing!
Cons: Its faultless!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful old hotel close to all the main attractions of Florence. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were really comfortable. There is a gorgeous rooftop area and pool which houses a bar and live music over summer but understandably this was closed over winter - I would love to come back over warmer months to check this out! The breakfast was particularly good too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They were great at making my stay as comfortable as possible, the concierge went the extra mile to make my proposal weekend special. Thank you
7.5 Good
Pros: Location , cleanliness, staff!
Cons: Room was very small , bed very hard, I was told this was smaller room for our room type sorry. I truly believe that they do not give priority to guests for rooms of you do not book directly on their website. The location is Great!!!!!
7.7 Good
Pros: Our room faced the river m, such a beautiful view. The room was nice & very clean. The concierge recommended some excellent restaurants.
Cons: The street noise is loud at night, so either ask for a quiet room some where or bring ear plugs. The staff working the breakfast each morning could be a lot more friendly.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Second time staying in this hotel and it was decent. Cleaning service was quite poor this time- during our 5 day stay. our shampoos / soaps/ cotton buds were never refilled.. also staffs seemed a bit indifferent with helping you (we carried all our 4 luggage ourselves when we arrived at the hotel cause no one was there to help)

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very comfortable. Good breakfast. Location was also good. within walking distance of most attractions
Cons: No direct elevator to the floor that we stayed on. So, it was down & up stairs to get to our room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located in the center of the city. Hotel staff has been very kind and polite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, excellent food with many choices served buffet style. Plenty of staff to answer your slightest need - even to retrieving the linen napkin that had unknowingly slipped off your lap onto the floor!
Cons: I really can't think of a thing. It is a beautiful hotel, with an elegant old world atmosphere located right off the Piazza della Signoria, steps from the Uffizzi Gallery with many small excellent restaurants near by. The entire staff of the hotel were pleasant, courteous and extremely helpful. What could possibly be better? I was there in early January - the weather and the quality of the light were magical.

Pros: Wonderful hotel, one of the best we have stayed in. Attentive and friendly staff, gorgeous rooms, fabulous location, nice breakfast, a lovely experience.
Cons: We would ask for an inside room next time, as the street noise kept us up, but only because we wanted the window open. We loved this hotel!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Friendly staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Breakfast buffet and some rooms noisy
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff good
Cons: Dark depressing room no 275 . Inadequate tables and chairs in dining room, felt as if eating on knees very uncomfortable, had difficulty standing up. Thought could have got better value for money elsewhere
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Helvetia Bristol could not have been warmer and more accommodating during my four night stay. Their warm welcomes and spot-on suggestions were greatly appreciated. I love this hotel and will definitely return. It is a historic boutique hotel (don't expect large rooms). The location cannot be beat in central Florence.
Cons: The rooms are small and in need of a little love (new carpet).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect !!!
5.1 Okay
Pros: Cappuccino. Staff was understanding.
Cons: The rooms next to the street are noisy because of the late night bars and at this time of year you can't have AC in the rooms because one system works the entire building. If you are hot or uncomfortable you have to open a window which just lets the noise in. Street cleaners, and trash service comes by at 5am which is nuts! Breakfast was blah...Single room was a closet and horrible shower. Im in shape and didn't fit in the shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was an exceptional stay, the hotel is located very close to the historical center, but also to the elegant showcases of the biggest fashion brands. Excellent location with very friendly staff, quite varied breakfast for all tastes, the reception of the hotel was in the spirit of Christmas with an amazing fireplace, absolutely fabulous. I spent New Year's Eve at the hotel restaurant and the dinner was absolutely delicious. Thank you very much to the entire staff of the hotel for the wonderful feeling we had throughout our stay there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff! Me and my sister are a bit spoiled in staying in 5 star luxury hotels. But our 4 nights stay in Helvetia & Bristol was even above expectation. Location: cannot be better Atmosphere hotel: very cosy Hotel room: TOP nicely and newly decorated, very comfortable beds. Room and bathroom impeccably clean. Although our room was on the street side no noise at all. Maybe because of the extra wooden shutters which they close during the turn-down. And last but not least: the staff! We have never stayed in a hotel with such a kind, nice and helpful group of people at the door and behind the reception desk. Federico, Allesandro, Sara, Gabriel, Lucretia and all others thanks for making our stay so special!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location / design of hotel room
Cons: Chocolatés left in room after turn down were off; heated towel rail didn’t work and was coming off the wall; hôtel coffee a rip-off price...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful, classic hotel, sumptuously appointed, but not over the top. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is wonderful. The breakfasts are elegant. (Best croissants of our trip!) The location is perfect, close to everything. Wonderful in almost all respects, BUT . . .
Cons: The hotel has a problem with noise, especially on the Via del Pescioni side. We were on the second floor, and disturbed during the night by revelers in the street, but especially by the very loud noises of service vehicles starting about 6 am. The hotel must be aware of this, because they provided ear plugs (!) by the bedside. (We should have had the wits to read this ominous sign.) They moved us to a room on the other side for our second night. Avoid rooms overlooking the street! Also, there is no coffee machine in the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, beautiful rooms. Very capable staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. 10-15 minute walk to everything, but quiet location. Service like one does not find anymore. Worth the money.

Pros: The staff was fantastic and very helpful. The full breakfast was very nice as well. I learned how to saber off the top of a Champagne bottle. A new party trick for me.
Cons: The rooms were only okay not a very good value for the money. I would have liked a much better bathroom and a little more attention to detail would have been nice as well.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, very welcoming, they were super polite and helpful, I went to do some laundry, and I had no idea how much laundry I gave them, but they still managed to count it all correctly, despite the fact I should have filled out the form prior with how much laundry I gave them, but I was a bit of an oaf, and didn't read properly, but they all were super nice about it. Facilities were always clean. The spa was fantastic after a long day out with lots of walking, and the quality of the aesthetic was top notch also. Everything was generally perfect. Additionally, cash was an acceptable payment which was amazing as a tourist. Less places are taking cash these days, and for some tourists this can difficult.

Pros: Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, they guided us about the important landmarks nearby and marked every place on a map to help us find them. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the french toast and mushroom cheese omelette were delicious. I loved the free apertivo hours in the evening where you could sit in the bar, sip a drink of the day,(or juice) with hors d'oeuvres like nuts, bite size sandwiches, olives, etc.
Cons: In house restaurant would have been a huge plus.

Pros: The room was immaculate and very clean, the lighting in the room was good and there was a mirror and seating for hair drying and makeup. This is very sadly not the norm in my experience. The location was amazing and close to all tourist attractions.
Cons: The fact there was no bar to sit at or a proper outside terrace. I know it was city centre but it was incredibly noisy.

6.3 Good
Pros: The views from the different parts of the hotel are truly spectacular
Cons: There was an awful smell in the toilet The restaurant did not have a lot of choices and half of the meals on the menu were not available There were mosquitoes in the room and we got bitten.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely rooms with added special touches. Staff very friendly and helpful. So relaxing and peaceful, great for families as well as couples.
Cons: Have to walk about 10 mins to get the bus to town, which was fine for us. There is one available from the hotel in the week running twice a day.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful location and view, nice gardens and animals...
Cons: The house is very old (which makes a really nice atmosphere but) sometimes we didn’t have water or only cold water... some of the sockets didn’t work too. We tried the breakfast once. They said it’s from 8 am but when we went down at 8, lots of food were already gone...
7.1 Good
Pros: Loved the rustic feel to the rooms and the size of the apartments.
