5.4 Okay
Pros: Free shuttle and view of Mt Fuji was fantastic.
Cons: Rooms very very small and the bed was so uncomfortable. I could nearly walk after sleeping on the mattress. I would not return to this hotel.
7.4 Good
Pros: The Onsen (Sauna) on the property was quite nice. Part of amusement park. If you take the train, you have to walk through the park, there is no easy way to walk. We tried.
Cons: English, someone should speak English if they want tourists.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room was great. Also the perks of having an onsen and access to FujiQ were nice.
Cons: There were parts of the hotel which looked a little dated. Also, the window was a little dirty which retracted from the view a bit.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to fuji-Q Highland, larger room than most, good view.
Cons: Incredibly expensive for what you get.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: the room is excellent!
Cons: unfortunately unable to view mt fuji due to weather
4.2 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and the view we finally got was nice.
Cons: We took a train in to the hotel, the only train that goes to the hotel. The train arrived at 9:46pm. The last scheduled shuttle bus from the train to the hotel was scheduled at 9:45pm. We called to ask if they would wait a couple minutes for us and they would not accommodate our request so we had to take a taxi. We booked a room with a view and when we got there they said the type of room we booked doesn’t have a view. They made us pay almost $100 more for a room with a view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is luxurious to a T, with incredible views of Mt Fuji to wake up to and have breakfast with, you'll be the envy of everyone. The location was situated right next door to Fuji Q, it has access to an excellent public onsen (free with room), breakfast buffet, a gorgeous little French town for kids (based on the BBC's Lisa and Gaspard), a beautiful art museum dedicated to works depicting Mt Fuji in all its forms and a great souvenir shop. I came along with my disabled son and the staff were always available to help with anything. The family rooms on the 10th floor are super spacious, the staff are super professional, all in all it was the highlight of our trip.
Cons: The buffet dinner was really good but really expensive, but thankfully there were other more affordable restaurants in the hotel. It's also quite a hike to get to the Onsen for milk (there isn't any milk in the convenience store), but these are petty dislikes for a hotel that goes above and beyond.

Pros: I had an amazing time here! The hostel has a very homely feel. Clean facilities, kind staff. The owner bakes fresh bread everyday, which was absolutely delicious! Renting a bike and biking through the area was a really fun experience. The location is great too, close to 7/11 and with nice view of mt fuji when the weather is clear.
Cons: The hostel was trully great! The only thing that could make it even better would be safety deposit boxes in the room, but for me it was also okay to carry my valuables with me everywhere.

Cons: Quite far from the station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was incredible. Best hotel I have ever stayed in.
Cons: Only disliked one thing, which is that the housekeepers leave your door open whilst they clean the whole corridor, putting your belongings at risk. I think this is common in Japan however.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room is very clean. And the outdoor Osen is beautiful at evening.
Cons: The location of hotel is 20 mins by walk away from Fuji station.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean despite being old. Excellent location, walking distance to two train stations and plenty of food/convenience store choices. Friendly service and organised an early check-in.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There’re some restaurants and shops near the hotel. Outdoor Onsen was great experience . The room was very clean
Cons: The twin beds are not in even size. The location is not really close to the Fuji station
5.0 Okay
Pros: I like that it was easy access from everything, staff was nice room is fine bath was great
Cons: I did not like that it said that it is a business hotel but they don't have free water and other amenities. There has a free tea but it would be great if they also have free coffee for foreigners like us.

Pros: This is the best place to stay! The owners are very very kind and helpful. We were picked up from the train station and driven back on our last day as well. We had a really nice time. Asumi Onsen is very great, the rooms were very beautiful and comfortable, we just loved our stay so much. The traditional Japanese breakfast was very delicious as well!

Cons: A bit far from center, better suited for travellers with car
7.1 Good
Pros: The host picked us up at the nearby station just like what was advertised. The onsen is relative good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The little hotel is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood towards the edge of Fujiyoshida. It's peaceful and very cute, with amazing mountain views all around. We were able to park and check in with no problem, and our host gave us a map pointing out local restaurants within walking distance since we checked in around dinner time. They asked about our plans in Fujiyoshida and if we needed them to take us to the local train station in the morning (free of charge!). They will also explain how to lay out and use futons if you have never used them before. Breakfast is really cute, very simple onigiri with miso soup and a small salad, with lots of green tea. We were also given a map of the local area and because we visited during Fujiyoshida's famous annual fire festival, he showed us all the streets that would be closed, suggested alternative driving routes, showed us parking spots, and strongly suggested we visit the festival (which I suggest to you too)! The bathing rooms in the onsen are small and cozy. There are two which are both unisex so you can use either, but our group was asked to use the bathroom all at once, so if you are not comfortable with group showers, be aware (or wait til late at night). The hot spring was very warm but not uncomfortable and the perfect way to wind down after riding roller coasters or hiking all day.
Cons: Parking lot is very cute but a little cramped so make sure to let them know if you plan to drive!
Hostel Saruya - Fujiyoshida - Building

9.0 Excellent (765 reviews)
S$ 114+

8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Hostel Saruya for two nights which, for the time of year, allowed us to explore a lot of Fujiyoshida. From the moment we walked in the door we were truly blown away by how beautiful the interior of the accomodation is, the photos are extremely accurate. It has a very warm, comfortably and inviting vibe to it which we really loved. Even if we were just chilling in the communal space, the wood tones and vibrant plant life made us feel welcome. The facilities were very clean and the staff spoke good English and gave us a lot of suggestions of things to do and see! Also on a good day you can get a fantastic view of Mount Fuji as soon as you walk out the door! We stayed in the 2 bed private room and found the space big enough for two people who don’t take too much space and very warm even though it was the middle of winter!
Cons: The walls of the accomodation were very thin so if you are there at the same time as loud travellers, you may find that to be a problem. Luckily, they provide you with quality earplugs which were put to good use during our stay!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I love their breakfast. Although its simple granola with soya milk but i strangely look forward to their breakfast every morning. Every bowl are properly labelled with my name and it comes with a heart warming message. I love how the host pay attention to details that made my stay pleasant and comfortable. I look forward to come back to stay with them!
Cons: There's nothing i don't like about the hostel. They are close to perfect from my expectation.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our time over a night in Saruya. The main building that we were allocated in had only 3 rooms and we got ourselves a relatively private area since our room was located at the end of the corridor. It didn't really feel like we had to share facilities and everything provided was ample and thoughtful. The bedding were surprisingly comfy and whole space was comfortable. One of our most memorable dinners on the trip was recommended by the hostel as well from a list of nearby restaurants. It was a small space about 15mins walk away manned by a hospitable old couple and they served homey japanese meals that were hearty and tasty. And of course, the view of Mt Fuji just steps outside Saruya in the mornings are lovely and made the stay even more memorable.
Cons: The only one thing that stood out was the noise. Due to its architecture, noise is easily amplified and because the property is located right off the roads, you could hear the traffic. Saruya does provide earbuds to help with the noise but if you need a fully sound proofed space then do factor these into consideration.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful and clean. It was an interesting space that sells antiques, homemade skin care products and good granolas! Please try the granola for breakfast! Especially the Matcha.
7.0 Good
Pros: A renovated traditional yet competemporary elements in the place

Pros: Location was right next to train station and easy to find in the dark. Japanese Rooms eXtra big for our family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location... We can see Mt Fuji, when we open the window...
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location!
Cons: Foul smell
4.0 Okay
Pros: Expedia was very helpful. I would have been screwed without expedia.
Cons: Making the effort of going elsewhere
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Extremely close to Mt.Fiji terminal which means convinient access via train and express bus services. Located on the 1st floor of a simple row of ground floor shop lot units. Do be reminded that luggages need to be carried up iron stairs which is kinda slippery during wet and winter seasons, do be careful. Unit is partitioned nicely with a wide open space that can easily accommodate a party of six if needed. Room 201 is the far corner unit with a close enough view of Mt.Fuji. Separated shower and toilet. WiFi. Mini fridge. Microwave. Kettle. Towels. Toothbrush. Communication with landlady is friendly and helpful but minimal via Google Translate app.
Cons: Toilet seat is not heated. Be aware that although shower room floor is cover with anti-slip paddings to avoid the cold winter floor, the drainage of the handwashing sink is not completely pipes under. Waste water will likely flow out and wet your feet, so avoid pouring down unfinished food partials into the shower room sink.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place got everything one needs; the futon beds were comfortable and the air conditioner kept us warm in the night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and nice
Cons: Nothing
Evergreen Fuji - Fujiyoshida - Building

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were excellent, courteous and always had a smile. No request was any trouble. The food was excellent along with the service, especially the young woman who looked after us during our meals. The view of Mt.Fuji outside our room was wonderful.
Cons: The hotel is showing its age with threadbare carpet in the hallway and many mark's, stains and scrapes on walls. I think it markets itself as a prestige hotel but this is not reflected in the decor.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view of Mt. Fuji
Cons: Hotel is very outdated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Staff are very friendly - Dinner is great compared to its very cheap price - Clean and wide room with Mount fuji view
Cons: - Breakfast is so-so
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel staff provided great hospitality. Upon arrival, there was a staff helping us to carry all the baggages to our room. There was one night we're coming back late which was over the dinner time, the staff were kind enough to serve us the dinner after 8.30p.m. There was also one morning which we not manage to go for breakfast before 9:00a.m. (breakfast closure time). There was one staff called to our room and asked us to come as soon as possible and waited us to finish our breakfast. We met one staff who able to speak English quite fluent here. He was an exchange student to Barcelona last time. He provided great service. Overall, the food served here was satisfactory, especially the Japanese traditional type of food. Sashimi considered fresh and the desserts were nice.
Cons: We would like to try Ryokan and Onsen, also to view the Mt. Fuji, that's why we chosen hotel nearby Mt. Fuji. The price we paid for was not the most expensive among hotels nearby but not cheap too. We're a little bit disssapointed that we're unable to view Mt. Fuji from this hotel. Cleanliness of this hotel was our greatest concern. We found out that the toilet of our Ryoken was with urine smell and we requested an immediate cleaning. However, suspected the urine stain was on the toilet wall because the staff cleaned the toilet bowl and did spraying but the smell was still there. We went to have a look on their kids playground and public bathrooms. Seriously the condition was not satisfactory. We saw some mold and stain on the ceiling/ wall. We don't feel comfortable trying their public bathrooms. We felt that the condition of this hotel requires an upgrage/ renovation.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast is good. Location is not convenient. No air condition is as mentioned. Please revise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing, taking their time to make us feel comfortable. They were so accommodating and my companions and I really enjoyed our stay with them.
