The location and view are excellent. The staff are friendly. The fact that all rooms have a balcony is a big plus. The beds are comfortable and the shower water pressure like a power washer.
The lights in the rooms have been replaced with white light bulbs that make the rooms much less inviting. The dinning room too has been redecorated with white tables and a wall covered with tropical style wallpaper with green leaves and parrots. This is somewhat at odds with the snow shoes hanging on the wall. The biggest disappointment this year though was the breakfast. After the first day we were told they had run out of bacon and so the only hot food available for breakfast was some very oily fried eggs. The evening meals were also not as good as the year before. Meat tended to be overcooked with plenty of surplus carbon.
Very friendly staff
Unable to accommodate breakfast on morning we left.
The views from most parts of the hotel are amazing.. it’s a generally a spacious property. There is a nice bar area, tapas comes out not every time but when it did it was good.. the restaurant is big, it doesn’t open until 8pm which didn’t work for us, 4 young kids with us and after a days Skiing we wanted to eat around 7-7.30pm. Nice size rooms, a little dated but it adds to the charm of the place... It’s family run with some additional staff, you can see the family work hard to make it all work.. We would consider staying here again.. I would recommend the amazingly scenic drive down Moclin about 25mins where there is some excellent restaurants in the town, well worth it!!
The restaurant opening at 8pm, there is mad rush of everyone wanting serving at the same time..
Everything was fine, good breakfast, nice staff, comfortable bed and clean room. Little disappointment was not the possibility of use the sauna during the whole 3 nights.
That the sauna was fully booked by one group of guests and that the other guests couldn’t use the sauna for the whole stay (3 nights). The reception should have reserved one hour for other guests and should not have sold every hour just to one client. That is unfair to the rest of the guests.
Nice breakfast included, excellent power shower, comfortable beds. Good value for money.
Thin walls, no jacuzzi available when we visited, no public transport from hotel
