9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location
Cons: The room was too small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great!
7.9 Good
Pros: Location: I like the hotel conveniently located right beside the JR Hachinohe station, and it was very easy to access from the station itself after arrival, the check in counter is located on the 4th floor , there are eateries on the 3rd floor provide some teishoku set meal or sushi bento to go or eat in. A tourist center is located on the 2nd floor. The breakfast provided in room was sufficient.
Cons: Basically there is nothing I don’t like but it’s just that the room size where I think I can’t do much about it. Travelling to another part of the city is kinda far though. Towada Bus took half an hour to town

7.0 Good
Pros: Very closely the JR station. Breakfast included is traditional Japanese and yummy, I like it even though ate 3 days.
Cons: The room is tidy but normally sizable in Japan.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff: The staff tried their best to help even if they couldn’t speak much English Location: The hotel is actually inside the train station, it takes less than 30 seconds to reach the hotel when walking out of the Shinkansen exit; the hotel is above a tourist information centre that opens until 7:00PM (to the best of my knowledge), the staffs there spoke perfect English and could offer traveling tips Facilities: The hotel just underwent a renovation - new beds and new wallpapers, the bed was very soft and comfortable, they offered 2 different pillows of varying hardness and height. Free amenities are the front counter including cooking pads for feet (perfect after a long day of walking) and various face care/ face wash products.
Cons: Location: Because it was right next to the station, you could hear trains going by (not very often, maybe once every hour); not very secure as there is no elevator keycard so anyone can go up to your floor Size: perhaps small even for Japanese standards, near impossible to open large suitcases
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient to plan your visit to Hachinohe City.
Cons: Small space
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was very helpful, the location is wonderful. It closes to convenient store, restaurants, coffee shops.
Cons: The breakfast line is small and mainly in Japanese. The Restaurant for breakfast is also not big.

9.2 Excellent

Cons: Location - little far from train station

Front desk would use a translator on their iPad to converse when needed. Room was a comfortable size. Clean. We were there for the Hachinohe festival. This was a perfect location bc the parade passed by right in front of the hotel!!! The staff prepared folding chairs for the guests to use. You can also take a short walk to see the float displays or go shopping.

Smile Hotel Hachinohe - Hachinohe - Building
12
7.0 Good (551 reviews)
S$ 71+
Overview Reviews
Located in Hachinohe, Smile Hotel Hachinohe is just steps from Hachinohe City Museum of Art and 3 minutes by foot from Hachinohe Yatai Village Miroku Yokocho. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Best part, it's in the center of town and basically across the road from Miroku Yokocho. My room was warm and the fixtures still look new. It was a better experience than my experience at Smile Hotel Hakodate. The staff speaks a bit of English. People of Hachinohe are friendly. I do recommend to have a bite to eat at Miroku Yokocho and perhaps make some new friends.
Cons: The city center is actually a climb from the train station therefore it was a bit of a walk away to the hotel but the view is actually quite nice. You're only expected to use the coin laundry between 0900-2200hrs (if I remembered correctly) so you won't bother the other guests as the coin laundry was located on the guest floors.
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Select Inn Honhachinohe Ekimae in Hachinohe, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Hachinohe City Museum of Art and Hachinohe Yatai Village Miroku Yokocho. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.0 Good
Pros: It was so close to the Hon-Hachinohe Station! When we arrived from Hachinohe Station, we could see the hotel from the left side of the train itself. Checkin was pretty easy, free toothbrushes and slippers are always nice, and the water pressure of the shower was really firm and comfortable. Small stuff like that makes a difference when tired from traveling and jet lag.
Cons: It’s an old building, so that’s worth considering, but the fact people used to smoke heavily in the rooms and elevators can still be smelt. If you’re sensitive to the smell of cigarette smoke, this could be a dealbreaker. But if that’s not something that’s bothersome to you, then the value will be quite nice.
7.0 Good
Pros: the hotel is opposite Hon Hachinohe station just cross the street. Good staff at the front. Breakfast is good.
Cons: The staff in the breakfast room she was very strictly for everything. We feel not comfortable with her control. Have only Japanease language in the hotel. Staff use the translate program to communicate with the guest. And have only heater in the room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is perfect
Cons: Facility is old
7.9 Good
Pros: Very simple quiet clean
Cons: Staff were not friendly
6.0 Good
Pros: Good location and cheap
Cons: Strong smell of cigarettes
4.2 Okay
Pros: near the station.
Cons: wifi doesn’t use rooms.only 2nd floor. Bad breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of hotel is right across HonHachinohe station. This location is suitable for those who wants to travel along the coast line.
7.5 Good
Pros: Just opposite Hon-Hachinohe Station, but still a 10-15 min walk to downtown. Not as convenient as being near to Hachinohe Station though. Room was of good size for us (we are small to medium people), enough for luggages to be kept open and yet the room does not feel cramped. Bed is a small double, but it was adequate for us; we did not feel squeezed at all. Bed mattress was firm, and the pillows were of good height and firmness. Standard amenities and toiletries were provided, and the bathroom, though small, was adequate for us.
Cons: Wifi available only on 1st floor reception and at 2nd floor breakfast room which can be used by guests. Central aircon, room was a bit cold but we couldn't adjust the temperature. None of the staff spoke or understand English and though they were helpful, they did not know certain key info, like if and what buses travel between Hachinohe and Hon-Hachinohe stations (as the last train from the former to the latter is early, at 9:20 pm), or how much the taxi fare was between the 2 stations..
Hotel Tetora Hachinohe - Hachinohe - Bedroom
14
6.7 Good (368 reviews)
S$ 55+
Overview Reviews
Located in Hachinohe, Hotel Tetora Hachinohe is within a 10-minute drive of Nejo Castle and Hachi-shoku Center. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tetora hotel is just at 5 min by walk from the Shin-Hashinohe shinkansen station.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room had its own bathroom, and a good place to set up my workstation for the night. Also, it was nice and warm, and had a helping of tasty tea just waiting to be made. The breakfast was worth its price too. Also, while I didn't need it, I should mention that the place had a handy free cellphone in the room that I could have used.
Cons: The walls are quite thin, so I was constantly woken up by other guests when I tried to make for an early night. Also, this place has that weird wall-plug key system where you have to plug part of your key into a socket in the wall to activate the light in the room. I'm not a fan of this. It only serves to inconveniate me, being someone who likes to keep his keys on a keychain in order to prevent loss.
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and spacious room for japan
Cons: It was all ok, it was a smoking hotel so expect it to smell in the hallways
4.6 Okay
Pros: For Japan standards, the room was a good size but I don't like sleeping on futons on the floor and so I doubled up my two futons and this made the room much bigger.
Cons: The staff didn't speak English. I asked if I could change the room to sleep in a western bed but was given an envelope to put my valuables inside. The breakfast wasn't the best either. The hotel was difficult to find. There was no sign showing the name of the hotel unless you can read Japanese, which I can't. Thank goodness a lovely couple walked me to the hotel from the train station or I would have been wandering the streets of Hachinohe in the dark.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: pleasant room with all needed stuff traditional japanese breakfast free coffee
Cons: fungus in the bathroom that could be actually removed surrounding... there's nothing there
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value for the money hotel on 10 min walk from the station. Breakfast was ok and the staff was very friendly.
Cons: No English sign or name on the street telling you are on the correct place. If you have a room at the parking side, better close the window because busses and cars tend to warm up just beneath your window.
7.9 Good
Pros: I like how they have a small variety of snack bar at the front desk its very close to the train station and convenient store as well as night bar
Cons: If it didn't snow alot
7.9 Good
Pros: The free phone was a nice touch, that we hadn't seen before yet (although we didn't need to use it). Everything else was ok - not outstanding, but served the purpose for us to spend that one night. WiFi signal was good, close to the train station (less than 5 min walk) and some restaurants in the area.

4.6 Okay
Pros: We booked late for the festival in Aomori-Shi and this was the only place I could get two non smoking rooms. Staff tried hard fortunately our son speaks fluent Japanese.
Cons: We normally go for three or four star so this two star was a bit of an eye opener, not close to the station, taxis wouldn’t take three adults and luggage, very small basic room and en-suite that was adequate, rooms not made up we were simply provided with a bag of fresh towels for the following day, the included breakfast was Japanese only no western options.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location and parking is good.
Cons: Smell of room was terrible. Room No.1608. I hope they could have solution for smoking room such as No.1608.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Near the festival
Cons: Old hotel for the price
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was very helpful in answering questions about Typhoon Hagibis, safety measures etc.
Cons: Fair bit of effort requires to adjust the water temperature when showering (two taps, one for cold water and the other for hot water)
7.9 Good
Pros: It is located very close to a lot of the nightlife places in Hachinohe
Cons: The parking was very small and didn't have many spaces so I had to park at a nearby parking garage.
