Pros: It is modern, clean, comfortable and well thought out. I spoke to several members of staff and they were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The air conditioning was effective and very quiet. The bed was large and comfortable. It is well situated, a short walk to the tram giving access to the rest of Lyon very quickly. The day ticket allows you to use the tram, underground and buses for 24 hours and costs less than 6 euros This was a one night stay, but I will be going back for several nights very soon.

Pros: My 2nd stay here. For a short busy trip it is perfect. I am gluten free so the facilities to make my own breakfast are ideal. The bed is large and comfy and there is plenty of storage space. It was immaculately clean. It is close to an excellent small supermarket and the tramway, so access to the rest of Lyon is easy. They provide a smartphone with free 4G which was really good for navigating on foot, much appreciated. It is a 20 minute walk from Les Halles Paul Bocuse, well worth a visit. The underground parking is well worth the cost.

Pros: Staff were wonderful. Great to have a kitchenette. Not central, but within a 5- to 10-minute walk to two different subway lines that take you to Vieux Lyon very quickly. Grocery stores very close by, as well as an excellent pharmacy. Burger King next door.

Cons: Unfortunately my room mates weren't very quiet, so I didn't sleep much, but this doesn't depend on the hostel of course :) When the person in the bed above or below move, the bunk bed will move as well (not a very strong structure). Also you can hear all noises coming from the hall or the hallway, so maybe with a mask (not to see other bunk beds' lights) and earplugs (not to hear noises) you can sleep through the night without problems! Maybe the hostel should sell them :) like they do for towels

Cons: Breakfast was really good , only small complaint would be that I had to keep asking for emptty buffet items to be refilled rather than the staff identify this themselves . No eggs in egg container , no orange juice in juice dispenser , no tea spoons in the appropriate basket . I felt at the end that I was nagging them !

Pros: Before I got there I requested a room with either carpet or bathtub and the woman immediately found a room for me. The coffee could be a little more tasty and scrambled eggs could be added to the breakfast menu, but it was a real nice and various breakfast. It's a great location for a Hotel, the subway and tramway are so close (5 min away). The room matched my needs for a night. And the bar is open until 11pm, which is just perfect ;)

There was la fete des lumieres so most probably all there rooms were taken so it wasn’t ready but it would be better if they modify the check in time so the traveler could know if his room wasn’t ready because when traveling we don’t have much time and we had to miss our tour waiting for the room to be finished

When we voiced our complain we were told to find another place. Considering that the hotel is placed between two cemeteries, far from the centre and the spa wasn't functional I think we grossly overpaid. I think the situation could have been handled better by the staff!

Cons: The price was too high for the quality of the room. The area was not the nicest though close to center. It was not clean.

Pros: Reception desk is open 24 hours a day; therefore no worry about late check-in. The neighborhood is pretty central. It is possible to get to the station easily by tram. The room was big enough and there were sufficient electrical outlets.
Cons: The room temperature was a little cold. The work table was too small to work comfortably, as is often the case in hotels. The decoration is a little dark, whereas with less dark furniture and fabrics, the place would easily be most pleasant.
