When visiting Moab, Bowen Motel is a great choice to consider. Guests can hang out at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Great place for mountain bikersPros: Super accommodating for those who stay in Moab to ride, with a location specifically to hose off the bikes! The rooms also came with a bucket and some rags specifically to clean off the bikes (so nobody would be tempted to use the clean towels). Water pressure in the shower was good, and both my wife and I didn't feel we had to rush to keep hot water. We were able to ride the Whole Enchilada and ride right back to our room. Cons: Somewhat slow internet during peak hours, we often had to reduce streaming quality (still, we were able to stream video). The floors were also pretty loud to walk on if you have a heavy step.
Why don't more hotels have 'Family rooms'Pros: Having three queen size beds in the room made it economical and comfortable for five of us to share a room. We also enjoyed the extra space in the living room. We were able to keep our leftovers in the mini fridge Having a heated outdoor pool was also nice. The hotel had a "route 66" feel to it, a true drive-up motor hotel Cons: The air-conditioning unit was in the living area so the people/person in the corner bed didn't get much airflow.
