Located on the corner of West 54th Street and Broadway, this Midtown hotel is 3–5 blocks from the Museum of Modern Art, Carnegie Hall, and Rockefeller Center.
DisgracefulPros: NothingCons: $10 internet charge per device per day. $7 for a bottle of water in the room.
Disgraceful that in 2015 a hotel charges $10 per device per day to connect with the internet. It's false economy as this caused me in principle not to spend a single penny at the hotel.
Instead I went to the excellent Renaissance Marriott across the road and enjoyed free Wi-Fi. Accordingly I spent cash on drinks, food, client entertaining etc.
Great gem for a 1-2 day business tripPros: This little gem was a total surprise. Yes, the rooms are super small, but well laid out for their size. And the bed is super comfortable! The hotel is perfect for just sleeping and showering. There are plenty of late night coffee shops and theaters within walking distance of the hotel if you're looking for a place to work or evening entertainment. And you really can't beat the location of this hotel if you have any business to conduct in Times Square, Columbus Circle, or Midtown. Cons: The rooms are definitely made for just 1 person on a quick 1-2 night journey. The entire room is pretty much just the bed, so don't come with any expectations of spacious luxury, but that one bed is comfortable and quiet for a good nights sleep.
Original room not one shownPros: The upgrade to a room that looked more like the one shown online.
The second room which faced the street and was on the 12th not 8th floor was twice the size with desk and fridge and didn't get the aircon noise that the first room did!Cons: The noisy shoeboX we were first put in until we complained!
The room was so small you could touch each wall from the bed! The air con so loud that turning it off meant you just heard everyone else's so made no difference.
Cons: should have decaf coffee in the morning.
Great stay for workPros: Stayed for work, great location, room was clean, beds were good.Cons: No free wifi and when you buy wifi it is only available on that single device.
Great location and Friendly StaffPros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly and helpful staff! The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great! It was a perfect location for seeing shows, time square and finding great restaurants close by.
Excellent hotel for the pricePros: Clean, comfortable bed, good location, friendly staffCons: No free wifi in room. Free wifi in lobby but pay for wifi in room.
Pros: Great location, comfortable room, not too noisy.
Always love staying herePros: Great location clean fabulously comfortable beds and linen, great staff, I am a repeat repeat repeat client.
Pros: Location and service
Great LocationPros: The location is perfect. It's a quick walk or cab ride to many of the places you will want to see in the Theatre District or in midtown.Cons: It is a little ridiculous that you have to pay for wifi in a hotel of this caliber and cost.
