10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, quiet place just a block off the main street. Nice breakfast, water all day and wine and cheese in the evenings. What a treat. Our room was on the second floor which I liked but the other ground level rooms looked fine. Many of the guests appeared to be repeat customers which says a lot. We were lucky to get a room and only because there was a cancellation that morning. It was a nice quiet place and we would definitely recommend.
Cons: You could hear water in the pipes on occasion, but it didn't bother us much.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Ouray Inn is located in Ouray, Colorado, a breathtakingly beautiful town, which is surrounded by high mountain peaks. Ouray is a rustic town that is quiet and peaceful, a great place to visit if you want to kickback and relax. The Ouray Inn is immaculate, and well-maintained. Kim, the owner, is a wonderful person who is dedicated to making your stay pleasant and memorable. She is a wealth of local information and can give you directions to good restaurants, shops, and places to see. The Inn's upper deck is a great place to sit, relax, read, and visit with other guests. Regardless of where you look the views from the deck are stunning. The free breakfast is certainly better than what is typically offered by other hotels, and the evening wine and cheese bar provides a great opportunity to meet and talk with other guests. My wife and I certainly enjoyed our stay at the Ouray Inn, and we look forward to a return visit. We wholeheartedly recommend the Ouray Inn, knowing your stay will be as enjoyable as ours.
Cons: I cannot think of anything I did not like.

Pros: Location is excellent, within walking distance to restaurants. Third floor view is picturesque. Cindy and Tom are so gracious. I have environmental asthma, in this home the air is fresh with no coverup smells!
Cons: It is perfect.
7.9 Good
Cons: The "full service breakfast" wasn't served until 9:00 am,after we were already gone. Most folks don't want to hang around that long to have breakfast. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hot Tubs were nice.
Cons: The carpet was was dirty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hot tubs are built into canyon area. We were able to watch deer walk right by. Location is perfect for biking, hiking or simply walking.
Cons: Note: Bikes are not allowed in the room. THey have secure areas for your equipment. Breakfast was packaged pastries. The town is pricey on all meals (no food chains,or local grocery stores), so be prepared with your own snacks or ready to eat foods.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the private springs. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Overall it is a great place.
Cons: The rooms were smaller than average and overfilled with furniture. At this price I would expect a larger room and teaming up with a local restaurant for free breakfast would be a good idea.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the fact that there were hot springs right on the property.
Cons: I would have liked a room not facing the parking lot, however, I did not specify that so I didn't make an issue of it. It was still quiet.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great & staff was very friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location right in front of the box canyon falls! Those are amazing and their hot springs!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value and location
Cons: Hot springs close too early.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was okay
Cons: We could not get into the hot tubs, it was to crowded and we were very disappointed as we cane all the way from Cortez for health reasons to get in the tubs. The internet made it sound like it would be an easy and available commodity. We were very disappointed.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hot springs, comfortable bed, convenient location
Cons: Toilets backed up easily, drains ran very slow
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, beautiful location, onsite hotsprings
Cons: slight polyurethane odor from recent repairs. Not enough to be uncomfortable
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is only one of three hotels in the town of Ouray that has direct access to its own hot springs, with hot tubs 50' from the door of our room. That's what makes this particular location special. Soaking in a natural spring hot tub looking out over spectacular mountain views - what more can you ask? Yes, the rooms are not luxurious or 5*, but they are functional, quiet and clean. The town, especially in the off seasons, is quiet, small with great food and drinks not very far away.
Cons: The hot tub jets could have been more functional - only one of two in two of the tubs were properly working. A bit more lighting in the hot tub area, maybe controllable with an off and on switch, would have made nighttime visits to the hot tubs a bit more safer.

Pros: Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Location was quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were even so thoughtful as to have a towel by the door to the room so you could put your shoes there and not track snow everywhere.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great central location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean and peaceful.
Cons: The staff knocking to clean. Do not disturb signs would be perfect.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast voucher was redeemable just down the street. Limited options available with the voucher. Would have liked to swap french toast for waffles, but not possible, sadly!
Cons: Cold floors underfoot. The room had a table and two easy chairs squeezed into too small a space beside the heater. Not really useable seating area. A second beside table would have been better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So well situated, nicely priced, clean and comfy. We will definitely be back! (We travel all the time, however The Matterhorn stood out as a favorite when it comes to mountain towns!)
6.7 Good
Pros: Room size
Cons: Hotel Staff. Bathroom door was not locking from inside and on complaining I was told that is totally fine with Hotel staff. Why do i need to have lock in the bathroom.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's nice to see a locally-owned, non-chain hotel that truly cares about its guests.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room. Very clean. Right in the heart of the town. Very nice surprise for an older independent hotel. My wife really liked the music that was pumped in to the room when we first walked in. Front desk staff person was really nice and friendly.
Cons: No real breakfast offered like most hotels (just some packaged breakfast cookies and orange juice in the room). Parking lot was small and a little difficult to maneuver with a larger SUV -- especially when it was full that night. But neither of these were very big deals to us.

Cons: A TRAY FOR MUDDY SHOES AT THE DOOR WOULD BE GOOD, OTHERWISE WELL DONE!
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location. Comfy bed.
Cons: Extra noisy people above me on my first night there. I heard every word and every move they made. Sounded like they were herding cattle up there. Apparently the place has no insulation. People need to be told to be considerate of others when they book the place.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice good sized, clean room with a really comfortable bed. Location was great, near downtown and main street, but just far enough to be away from the noise of main street. Nice shady backyard with flowers of hanging baskets, a charcoal grill and picnic table, which we utilized one night. Inside there was a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee pot with coffee, sugar and creamer. Caretaker lives on property and was very pleasant, and helpful. Caretaker also made sure to let us know he was available if we need anything...Yet we were allowed privacy.
Cons: Bathroom was a little on the small side, and not much vanity space for toiletries, etc. There was no air conditioner, and it was in the mid 80’s while we stayed. Later, I found out that most accommodations in town do not have a/c. However, the 2 fans provided, and an open & screened window, worked great to cool the room down. Would recommend that the room be supplied with silverware, paper plates and plastic cups, and ice trays.

Pros: Staff was very accommodating and made our room ready for us to come early when we asked! The memory foam bed felt great and we enjoyed relaxing with the beautiful yard, flowers and trees from our balcony. Very pleasant!

Pros: We were fortunate to score a room here last minute after things not following through at another hotel. Checking in was easy. Our pets were allowed. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. All the amenities worked. It was simple but were were provided with a great bed, a tv, and a bath/shower that had soap and shampoo. We were one block from man street, bars, restaurants, and a few blocks from the public hot springs. Several private hot springs were even closer. The staff was friendly and didn't bother us. The other guests were quiet and friendly. I definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Pros: The owner is super nice! The Chalet is really cute with a nice quiet outdoor area. The location is close to everything in the center of town. We walked from the Chalet to all the restaurants and shops around town.
6.7 Good
Pros: Didn’t realize that the room didn’t have a full kitchen picture on website were nota accurate miss leading. Brought lot of ate own food to prepare couldn’t cook it. We had to go spend money on restaurants food. Not to happy about that..
Cons: Same as above not having a kitchen to make all the food we bought..

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The soaking is what made the trip good.
Cons: Had to get a 60$ pet fee refunded to my account because they charged me when I didn't even have a pet.. the 100$ security deposit that they should of put in the grand total, had to pay in cash upon arrival.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed was so comfortable and warm. Location was perfect for walking downtown or to the ice park. Breakfast was good. Hot springs were awesome.
Cons: Under amenities it said microwave, I was expecting a microwave in the room. There was a community microwave across the parking lot. Very inconvenient since we stayed during a holiday and most places were closed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was delightful and the 18+ hot spring room was wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Heated floors!
Cons: Our room was up against the metal stairs and it was pretty noisy with people stomping up and down them often
4.0 Okay
Pros: I liked that we were able to use the hot springs and pool whenever we wanted with the 24 hour access. However, the lights turned off after midnight and it was difficult to see where the pool and the outdoor hot spring was.
Cons: When we booked our trip, we thought that we would be staying at the hotel- we ended up staying at the condos down the road from the hotel. At first we were excited that we will have access to a full kitchen and living room as well as a hot tub. Once we had booked, we learned that we would have to pay additional money in order to use the hotel's hot springs and have breakfast. Once we arrived and checked in, things took a turn for the worse. The condo was older and not well maintained. The hot tub was drained and not in use. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The wifi didn't work and when we called the front desk, we were told that they didn't think that the wifi ever worked in our particular unit and gave us the wifi password for another unit. The trash was not emptied from when the previous people used it, which made us wonder if the sheets and towels were also clean. After paying the additional amount in order to use the hot springs, we went late that night. There were very few people at the pool and hot springs, which made the experience enjoyable. There were very few clean towels left, which was fine considering it was 11 pm. We returned the next day at 1 pm and there was the same amount of clean towels as there was the night before. The indoor hot spring is missing tiles and looks rundown. The outdoor hot spring is covered in algae, which you end up taking back with you once you leave. Had we been able to see the facilities the night before, we might have rethought our decision to use the hot springs. It's possible that our trip might have been better had we actually stayed at the hotel instead of at the condos that the hotel uses when they are full. It would have also been better if we had known that we would be using the condos when we had been browsing places to stay. A little more transparency would have gone a long way to enauring that we got what we paid for.
7.0 Good
Pros: The beds were super comfy, and liked the onsite hot springs!
Cons: Seemed like the breakfast room was really crowded, I was charged for a water bottle we didn’t take and all the extra resort fees were unexpected and disappointing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location with an easy walk to all of the dining and nightlife options in Ouray. Easy access to the ice park from the hotel as well.
Cons: Very excited for the hot springs on property, however the springs were almost unbearably hot and not enjoyable. I understand they’re natural springs and this isn’t the properties fault, but still a little disappointing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a spotless, roomy, newly renovated double room- but it was in the new building so a bit more of a walk to the springs pools. We love the pools and having a breakfast included. Walking distance to town and trail to ice park/falls.
Cons: Breakfast needed to be replenished in several items, but still plenty of choices.

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Thumbs up!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love that the pool and hot tubs are available to use 24 hours. The free hot breakfast is great! There is laundry on site, as well as a gym. There's also free wifi and it's pretty good as long as the weather isn't too bad. Same for the satellite tv.
Cons: Not all rooms are the same! At first we were put into a very small room with the tv beside the bed, instead of across. I did not like that at all. But the staff was very nice and we were able to switch rooms. Parking may be an issue if the lodge is fully booked.
