Overview

In the university city of Padua, the Sure Hotel by Best Western Milano, Padua, Italy, is a practical, comfortable hotel with simple functional rooms, free Wi-Fi, a TV, a minibar, and a safe, plus a gym, meeting rooms, and breakfast to start the day. A walk from the centre brings you to the grand old hall of the Palazzo della Ragione, and the city's chapels and museums lie a short way off through the old centre. Frequent trains reach Venice in well under an hour for a day in the lagoon city. Padua is one of northern Italy's oldest cities, home to a venerable university where Galileo once taught. Giotto's luminous frescoes glow inside the Scrovegni Chapel, the vast Prato della Valle ranks among Europe's largest squares, and the great Basilica of Saint Anthony draws pilgrims beneath its many domes. Canals, arcaded streets and the lagoon city of Venice lie close by. - CIR: 028060-ALB-00017, CIN: IT028060A1ETPLVDVA
