Roissy-en-France hotels near Église Saint-Éloi

Cons: no place to unload vehicle on arrival. 10 minutes to circle back to parking garage. then found remote space, carried luggage through confusing hallways to tiny elevator, then 200 meters to lobby checkin desk. Horrible, frustrating experience after 4 hour drive. Restaurant service was awful. 20 minutes to get everyone's drink orders taken and corrected. Never an offer to refill water or wine. another hour to get entrees. - arrived cold and congealed. fire alarm at 4AM disturbed us- no notification as to whether it was real or a prank. 15 minutes to turn it off.

Cons: Staff in restaurant were a bit overly friendly with our kids, making us uncomfortable. Perhaps asking for a hug from children you just met seconds before is culturally ok there but it seemed a violation of privacy to us.

Cons: My boyfriend didn't like the fact that the shower didn't have a complete closure but I explained to him that that is how French showers are and you might get a little water on the floor but no worries. To me this is not a problem but to him it kind of freaked him out. He rarely travels in Europe..LOL

Cons: When first arrived was given a room that the guests had not yet checked out of and it had not been cleaned. Hotel quickly gave us another room but we were disturbed we were given a key to someone else's room and had access to their baggage.

Cons: Light switches were broken, bed really uncomfortable and bed covers looked old / dirty.

Cons: The food during dinner was terrible. I was expecting Fresh vegetables over frozen and limp ones.

Cons: Carpet dirty Bathroom mildew on tiles Air freshener too strong

Cons: The price was a bit high.

Cons: Food options for Breakfast were very poor. There was hardly any food meant for vegetarians

Cons: Had to find dinner at another sister hotel a walk away.

Cons: The place is gross

Cons: Too many hotels of similar names in the area make it difficult to understand where is is in relation to CDG. Shuttle to airport takes forever. Service in the dining facility is a free for all , and because you are so far way from any other choices, you are forced to put up with what is there.

Cons: Waiting for the bus

Cons: Room was small. It was a 20 minute bus ride from the airport so not a real good airport option and it was expensive. Limited dining options in the area.

Cons: Room was too small for three people. The added bed was too short. The airconditioning did not work. Ibis Styles needs to make it clear that there are two hotels with the same Ibis Styles name at the same airport in completely different locations. We lost about one hour going to the wrong one. The airport signs point you to Ibis Styles, but if you follow them you end up with the classier Ibis Styles not the one at Roissy.When you google Ibis Styles it send you to the classier version so it's really confusing.

Cons: The shower did not work. The water would only come out from the tub part. I had to sit in the tub and bathe using a cup to pour water on myself since the shower was not working. I was already in the shower when I realized this, so I didn't have a chance to tell anyone at the hotel.

Cons: Couldn't find a place for a work session for 4 people (table, place to plug in the laptops).

Cons: 2 different Hotel Mercures being in close proximity of the CDG Airport, cost us confusion with our taxi, and were dropped off at the wrong location first, which meant we had to pay 2 taxi fares after dropping off our rental car at the airport... Even the knowledge that there were 2 in the vicinity would have made us more specific of a the destination by taxi.

Cons: No AC and no sheets & blanket, just a big comforter so it was too hot under it and too cold on top. I had to open the window to get some fresh air. The restaurant was way too bright and the menu had a very small selection. I almost went down the street to another but my son was tired

Cons: Not a good food choice. I believe I booked for the other Hotel Mercure at the airport, but was booked into second hotel. Very difficult finding the place.

Cons: They have a shuttle to the airport but NOT TO TERMINAL 1 (which is the terminal for most flights for US flagged carriers). Because we had a lot of luggage we ended up taking a cab to the airport because we didn't want to have to go to Terminal 3 and then transfer to the airport train to Terminal 1. Also, there are 3 Mercures around CDG and it is often not clear which shuttle to take.

Cons: Need to work on bathroom cleanliness

Cons: Unclear how to get there from CDG terminal. there are 2 Mercure's at the airport and the same shuttle does not take you to both. Also, where to get the shuttle is difficult to identify - but that is the airport's problem.

Cons: Limitéd air conditionning

Cons: Warning no little shampoo or hair dryer. It was budget for sure ...the price we paid was greater than the posted price. Staff seemed indifferent. Floors from entry, to reception , to elevator were disgustingly dirty and littered. There are a number of hotels clustered in the area and there is a very efficient shuttle bus. I give the bus 5 stars. I give the Receptionist at the next door Novotel 5 stars for friendliness and information.

Cons: All the on-site vending machines for food and beverages were out of order. There was a LOT of extremely loud noise and problems late at night and nobody seemed to do anything about it.

Cons: I have no idea what people were taking (for those individuals who rated this property above one star), as this was the worst place that I have ever stayed. I have stayed in many budget accomodations and every single hostel I have stayed in is better than this hotel. I would stay at a hostel within Paris versus this. Below are the reasons: 1. Location - my primary reason for staying here, as it was close to the airport, but au contraire my fellow travelers! This hotel is actually about a 15 minute drive to the airport and there is no other way to get there - so even thought the hotel is cheap you must tack on $20 USD for each ride between the airport and the hotel. Remember the shuttle does not run at all times and so when it is not available, you have no other option. It is cheaper to actually stay in Paris and take public transit to the airport. 2. Shuttle - always running late, only stops at terminal one. 3. Accommodations - the bathroom is TINY. It is about 2 square feet total and that INCLUDES THE SHOWER. You essentially are showering with the toilet. My room was not clean and there were pubic hairs on the toilet (ew). The internet worked, but was very very slow. I could not stream music or video on it. 4. Staff - upon my arrival my room was not ready yet. It was 1 pm and my check-in had been noon. They asked me to wait in the lobby and did not apologize for the inconvenience. They then told me the room was ready and when I unlocked the door and walked in the manager and cleaning staff were still inside, which obviously startled me, again - they did not think this was strange or apologize, just said, "the room is ready!". Chinese tourists.
