10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything!!!! And I’m a hard person to please! Best place I’ve stayed at in the past 5 days of traveling throughout Costa Rica. Can’t beat the location, knowledgeable staff, nice modern design/layout, cleanliness, board games, hammocks, pool, yoga, breakfast, WiFi & guest handbook is amazing -very organized and thorough. Literally everything you want to know or need is available to you through the hotel. Definitely like a mini hide away resort style. A lot of thought was put into the creation of this hotel
Cons: Fully booked—couldn’t stay longer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pictures don’t do this place justice, it is one of the best places I’ve stayed in all my years of travel. My girlfriend and I wanted a chill and relaxing experience by the beach when we came to Santa Teresa. Otro Lado was everything we wanted. We arrived after a long drive to a quick check in, quiet and relaxing vibes and a beautiful and clean suite. The pictures don’t do the suite or the inner pool area justice. We loved it. One of the main reasons we went to Santa Teresa was to learn how to surf. Otro Lado set us up with a surf instructor who also works at the hotel, Richard. We met him at the front desk and walked a short distance to the beach with the boards to start the lesson. Richard was amazing and honestly one of our favorite parts of our trip. He’s a great teacher, really encouraging and overall has great vibes. After our first lesson we immediately booked another for the next day, partly because we just wanted to hang out with him more. We got his information for our friends to contact him when they visit Santa Teresa as well. We highly recommend Otro Lado. We left Santa Teresa to explore more of Costa Rica and have missed it ever since, joking about driving back to stay at Otro Lado a few more nights. We definitely will be back.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This place is a really nice oasis in Santa Teresa. The suites are spacious, modern & well equipped. The owners & staff were amazing & always really friendly & helpful. Breakfast options were great. The location is a 3 min walk to the beach and a 5 min walk to the next supermarket. definitely recommended!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really nice place with great facilities considering being Costa Rica. It's right beside the beach (50m) but you have to cross the road first. Beautiful sunsets to be seen on the beach too. Room was very clean and the bathroom was great!

Pros: Stef was extremely nice and helpful, organising everything we needed (surf lessons, boat tours, etc.) and giving all the needed advice and hints even by the phone after we checked out and left! Property is amazing and we enjoyed staying there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Casa Marbella is a beautiful boutique hotel perched above the main road with panoramic ocean views. The hotel is meticulously maintained with an incredible cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re lounging on a comfortable lounge chair reading a book or taking a dip in the infinity pool to cool off. Everything is perfect!! Nothing beats waking up in the morning and sitting on your deck enjoying your coffee listening to the sounds of the waves crashing below. The sunsets at night are absolutely stunning!!! Special thanks to our hosts Andre and Jessie who made our stay so memorable!!
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hazienda style lodge is located on a little hill so you are away from the noisy and dusty traffic from the main road. Still you can walk to the beach. We switched from one of the rooms without a view to the ocean to a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony with a great view to the ocean. It has a kitchen and even private Iguanas on the trees in front of your balcony. Since a thunderstorm destroyed the air condition the very nice and helpful owners upgraded us to the two floor apartment/3 bedrooms with large terrace and very large living room/kitchen. Coffee and tea are provided near the pool but you can also walk a path 2 minutes to a place where you can have a delicious breakfast. We would have liked to stay longer than 5 nights in this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I want to live there! Jessie and Andre are warm and welcoming; perfect hosts. The rooms are super comfortable. The view is spectacular!
Cons: Can't think of anything we didn't like about Marbella.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The resort and views was beautiful. They offer a lot of classes which I saw a yoga class about to start that looks out over these beautiful hills. Parking included and there’s a night guard to keep watch since theft is high.
Cons: I wish they simplified locking the doors. It required manual key turn lock to open and close. The beds were low rise and sat on the floor, fine for younger people. They should add their hotel sign on the street along with the other signs that point towards the dark narrow unpaved alleyway which ends up leading to their hotel at the end to which you then go up another steep hill. If you don’t drive, the shuttle only takes you a part of the way and would have to lug your own luggage all the way up, highly don’t recommend. Thankfully we drove and they did warn us it was a trek to get to them, after all you can’t get theirs amazing views without making your way up there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house, absolute magnificent views and great staff. Beds very comfy. Clean and nice rooms.
Cons: Nothing, liked it all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Andre, the owner was so friendly, it felt like catching up with an old friend. Stef was also so lovely and chatty. They had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The view from the pool is incredible and the general layout and design of the hotel is fantastic. The extra surprises for our honeymoon and Christmas were so thoughtful as well.
Cons: The hill to the hotel! I know Andre has already made a big effort with improving the path up, but it is still pretty tough, even for fairly fit 30 year olds. A small set of stairs leading to the lower sunbathing deck could be an option, but it would affect the security.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Friendly staff - Great hosts: Jessie & André will make you feel at home. André even took us surfing one morning
Cons: - A technical issue with the pool.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: 100% recommended. Nice atmosphere and great hosts!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality of Mauro & Julio is world class, breakfast is fabulous, so is the tapas restaurant for a fancy meal at night. The rooms are kept very clean and nicely decorated. The B&B is very good value for money. Location is perfect, shops/restaurants nearby, and beach access literally out the front, to swim, surf, watch sunsets to your heart’s content. Also Betzy the dog is the cutest. I hope to return again soon!
Cons: Nothing. Everything is as described.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The tapas in the restaurant were amazing and you get a discount if you stay at the BnB! The owners were perfect and helped us with booking a shuttle, along with other consulting and helping. Thank you so much for the stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely charming — the perfect place for our stay in Santa Teresa. Julio and Mauro were the best hosts. It’s clear they have put love and thought into the space, each guest’s experience, and the food. Their recommendations for us were spot on. We look forward to staying with them again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing place! We stayed with Mauro and Julio at Bajo el Árbol in Santa Teresa for 4 nights and wished we could spend more time here. It is very clean and comfortable, located a short walk from the beach, perfectly in the center of Santa Teresa (supermarket and restaurants/bars just a few meters away) The breakfast in the garden was fresh and made with love. Also the tapas at the restaurant are delicious. What made our staying extraordinary were the two owners Mauro and Julio who helped us out with everything. They are very friendly and warm people and made us feel like at home during our stay. We definitely recommend this place and we will come back for sure.
9.2 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, fantastic porch to relax at and a very nice poolarea.
Cons: The interior of the bungalow was a little more run down then expected and the kitchen utensils were very worn.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We like the swimming pool facilities and also the fact that it's pet friendly hotel.
Cons: The room was a little small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We very much enjoyed our stay at Zula Inn!! The hotel is placed in a calm surrounding (even though in a very good spot in Santa Teresa) and has a beautiful pool area. The owner is a very helpful person. He has given great advise and support on what to do and where to go. We would love to come back soon!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for two nights at Zula Inn and we loved it! The bungalows are spacious, clean and most importantly, off of the main, dusty road in Santa Teresa. The kitchenettes have pretty much everything you need to cook, and the cheapest grocery store in town is just a two minute walk away. The beach is also very close by and an easy walk. We loved spending time by the pool though, far less people than the beach! The owner also owns an Israeli restaurant a short walk away and serves some of the best felafel and hummus I’ve ever had. The only downside was the construction that seemed to kick off right at 645am but that’s out of their control. Would definitely come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very big and clean, in the kitchen you can find all you need for make a nice dinner or breakfast. The pool area is very quiet and relaxing. Great location and amazing stuff. We definitely come back again!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location + friendly and helpful owners
Cons: Cold water only!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The layout, pool, plant life, and it was VERY CLEAN!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious. The common outdoor kitchen was great and it was nice to have separately allocated storage space for dry food and in the fridge for all rooms. We also liked the pool area. The owners keep the place well organized and helped us with all our questions, and also the other staff were super nice. The location is perfect for going to the beach and surfing (3 mins from the beach) and there are many nice restaurants nearby.
Cons: We really liked the place, only one minor thing: There was a faint smell of insect repellant in the room - but I guess that’s what you need in order to keep the room free of bugs.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice design, quiet and comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people we fantastic, both guests, and hosts! Very helpful with our laundry directions, surf lessons, and more. Great location to the beach and so much good food in Santa Teresa. We also enjoyed their amazing pool!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Adorable wooden bungalows Cute pool. Close to the beach Super comfortable. We LOVED staying here. The hosts /staff were lovely, giving us information and helping. Felt secure and safe behind a gate - with parking. At 7pm the WiFi stopped working and we told the hosts about it, and even though reception was closed, they came out & fixed it. Before it was fixed they even allowed us to connect to their personal home WiFi. What legends !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the owner of the place is very eco conscious. She uses biodegradable and organic shampoo and encourges people to recycle and take a short shower etc. She was a friendly and helpful lady too. The place was very cozy and clean. It's a little further back from all the main shops but that's what I liked about it. The access to the beach is close enough and there's a supermarket right next to it.
Cons: Soundproof? I just had to hear my neighbour making love the whole night. And there's a few chickens next door that crow all the time as if they are having a competition or something. It didn't really bother us though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful facility. ( see the section above for other positives) We had an upper room with peaceful balcony overlooking the pool. It was great having the pool to cool off. I don't usually care to use a pool when I have an ocean to swim in...but in this case it was awesome to have access to both. The room had a small fridge so that made getting a few things at the store, like yogurt and fruit an easy breakfast. The room had a nice wood interior, super clean. Housekeeping cleaned daily. We took shuttles, but most people had there car or ATV parked securely behind the gates. There were many small conveniences, like having a outside key lockbox, and safe in the room, good storage options, comfortable outdoor private table and chairs, and poolside lounge chairs...and regular nearby visits of howler monkeys.
Cons: I'm going to qualify these negative comments by saying first that the facility and Italian couple that own it, and the staff are fantastic in every way. They bend over backwards to help arrange activities and transport. The place is immaculate and beautiful. The downside is that the main road goes past their place as it does most of the reasonably priced accommodation between Playa del Carmen and Santa Teresa. It's a loud dusty road with a lot of ATV and truck traffic. This is not specific to this hotel but virtually any accommodation that is not on the beach side and away from the road. I used ear plugs at night to keep out noise from traffic and roosters. The good things about this location including close access to the best Soda ( local tico restaurant), grocery store, several other good restaurants like The Patio for breakfast, Facon, and Osa, and 2 beach access points at a great location on the beach for surfing. There is a group of howler monkeys that show up nearby in the trees by the grocery store (back by the loading area) daily...when I here them, I just run over to view them ( a minute to walk).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff. Location. Comfy bedroom. Cleanliness. Small fridge and coffee maker.

Pros: At night excessive loud for music next door, during night.
Cons: Matress too soft, back pain...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Both friendly and super knowledgeable. I would return. Food is good, but the best part is the location. It’s as close to the beach as you can get!!!
Cons: Wish the air conditioner could stay on when you leave the room. If not, a portable fan would be helpful.

Pros: Beautiful location surrounded by nature. Very helpful staff helped us plan the activities during our stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff! The terrace of the rooms is very nice with a cool hanging bed!
Cons: No breakfast options
9.6 Excellent
Pros: very unobstusive thoughtfull stuff! well built house approximately 400meters up the hill pretty much int the center of santa terrsa. with nice little gimmicks like a panorama-window-shower. big room with a big private deck roght in front of the room. quiet and shady therefore cool during the day + you’ll have a “coldwater” stone-pool available in adition or a hottub as a contrary both in the comon area. we would come again! ;-)
Cons: just the price was a bit high as we stayed there in the absolute highseason... so only a small “bump” ;-)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and the hotel is gorgeous !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous space. Beautiful, tranquil, a true retreat. The pool area is to die for and the whole space is so thoughtful.
Cons: This wasn’t an issue for me but guests should know that it’s very independent living. There’s no restaurant on the premises so if you’re looking to be waited on/spoiled by staff every moment this won’t be the place for you.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Santa Teresa is a real surfer town. The only surprising thing is the dust. We mean it. Dust is crazy. And this hotel is a little up from the main road which is a complete advantage. The room was amazingly cool and big. The Terrace is bigger then room and sooo good. Jungle leaves and bamboo swing bed is the place to be! If you're lucky to find a room on your dates that is the place t stay in santa teresa. We loved it.
Cons: There is no bar or smt at the reception and in the hotel. Would be perfekt to have at least cold beer and water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The personnel was very friendly in helping us with all the information we needed. The accommodation was so beautiful and very well located!

Pros: The property was our very own paradise. We stayed at Villa Bonita and they took care of all of our needs! Cleaned our clothes, cleaned out the pool daily and the bbq pit! Cleaned the house daily! When we called for anything that needed to be fixed it was fixed pronto! Janet the housekeeper, Danielle the concierge, and ToTo the excursion agent all were fantastic
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean Location Quiet Nice restaurant/bar Beach 100meters away
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect position, room, staff and beach bar - everything
Cons: Nothing. Would be perfect also some discounts on the beach bar menu that’s very close to the room
7.9 Good
Pros: The bungalow was beautiful with a lovely outside area, great access to the restaurant, pool and beach. The pool is beautiful and well maintained.
Cons: It was noisy at night, with the bass from the beach bar quite loud until it closed late. This is totally fine if you’re wanting to party but a little annoying if you don’t - it makes the honeymoon suite a little less romantic!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Villa was really great, clean, three of the rooms have plenty of space, one is small. We loved the kitchen is outside and the pool to relax. Very close to beach, restaurants and grocery stores.
Cons: Emilya and Danielle were great hosts, respond quickly to our questions and we're very kind. The person at the reception otherwise was careless and we felt almost threatened when he told us we were not able to pay with a credit card even though booking.com said they accepted them, be prepared.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Bungallow is fine.
Cons: Loud day&night. Construction during the day, loud and pretty bad music during the night till 5am. They have a nice beach restaurant, but loud music is a must there all day too so no chance to just chill and hear the sound of the ocean. Staff is kind of a dont give a sh*t style with a few exceptions.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Bungalows are great and location is perfect.excelent beach.
Cons: The hotel should have beach chairs under the palm trees....

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Private beautiful beach steps from our room with many hammocks, great pool & hot tub. Staff is very friendly! The bartender made us a special dragonfruit sangria that was delicious! We were there in low season & practically had the resort to ourselves. Far enough from town were it was quite.
Cons: Hot tub-wasn’t hot
7.0 Good
Pros: Loved the hammock area Staff was awesome Amazing location Pina Coladas were good Food was good, but lacked variety Yoga decks were super cool
Cons: Room needed a deep clean, someone previous had killed a large bug on the wall but the wall hadn’t been cleaned Safe didn’t work
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The grounds of the property were outstanding! It's a great way to submerge yourself into the rain forest but be more comfortable with amenities. And it was right on the beach! It was my favorite place I stayed in Costa Rica based on how the hotel grounds were set up in the trees flowers and foliage and with an ocean view. We saw monkeys, lizards and beautiful birds from the property. Gorgeous.
Cons: Food was whatever.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spa facilities are especially good (yoga, massage, Pilates etc). Staff always keen to help and made us feel very welcome. Our fishing trip was amazing - ask for Deiver!
Cons: The bathroom was a bit basic and the shower not great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located within the town and right on the beach, nice and quiet away from the busy road behind. Lovely faculties. Helpful staff.
Cons: Bathrooms need upgrading.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Eveline met us in our villa upon our arrival since it was storming. So nice of her. the villa was amazing, my husband on adult boys were blown away!! I can not say enough nice things about our stay. grocery store right across the street so i even made breakfast a couple of times and snacks. We can't wait to go back!!!
7.1 Good
Pros: It’s a beautiful place, the landscape is kept well, the staff are very nice. Pool is beautiful. Location is awesome- right on the beach!
Cons: The room is nice and kept pretty clean, however, the shower sounds like a water fall and constantly leaks 24/7. They claim they have coffee makers in every room... I checked with staff and management and “it’s a lie”... there’s no coffee makers at all. But I can stay in an upgraded room for an extra $150 a night ( on top of what I already paid )... No thanks... Over all, the hotel is beautiful and you can’t beat the location, but I think there’s better properties for better prices in the area and you can get way more for your buck somewhere else.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, close to beach
8.3 Excellent
Pros: located right on the beach of Santa Teresa, fabulous location if you are there for surfing, not for swimming or snorkeling. the restaurant was extremely good and right by the pool facing the beach, what more could you ask for? Evelyn , one of the managers, was terrific and extremely helpful! Tropico Latino is very quiet and felt safe.
Cons: As one of the oldest establishment in Santa Teresa it looked a bit "tired", the rooms were outdated and the beds not very comfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully planted, even our Garden Bungalow 2 had an ocean peek; clean, open space, inviting, gorgeous lagoon pool;beautiful yoga Shala The staff is remarkable, food is delicious; fished on reef our front and restaurant prepared the snapper. It is a very special place!
Cons: It is perfect
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved the staff! They were so friendly and helpful especially kitchen staff and reception. Loved the beautiful beach just outside and the environment around. We saw a howler monkey, many birds and lizards just at the hotel.
Cons: The room smelt like the septic tank often at time and different areas of the room. I sat on the upstairs toilet while my partner was downstairs on the toilet and the water dripped on him. That’s the only reason for a lower cleaning rating as we felt the smell was unbearable some days. The female cleaner also doesn’t knock so she walked in on my naked one day and my partner in bed the other.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful facilities and amazing villa with the pool one step from the deck. Amazing location right on the beach with fabulous restaurant on location. Very tranquil and restful. Beach walk in either direction. Hardly anyone about. Kids had an awesome first surfing lesson. Daily yoga top notch. Never wanted to leave the property !
Cons: Not much to the “village” of St. Theresa or the other little towns on the strip. Rough crowded dusty road. Very hot beaches did not seem very welcoming (little shade). Long road with major construction and rough patches to get to the area. Best to just stay at Pranamar !!
7.5 Good
Pros: The access to the beach, the food at the restaurant, and the massages.
Cons: The breakfast is not included despite the price of the room (USD 400 per night for two). The staff is not welcoming, the service at the restaurant is slow, and they only have three (3) long chairs on the beach... I have asked the staff if they could bring on the beach the long chairs we had in our villa, but the answer was a straight no. They neither try to find another solution nor apologize....
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Confortable beds
Cons: Too much Noise around and animals inside the villa
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hardwood artisan villas in a tropical garden. Staff was very friendly. Excellent food, small menu selection, but great taste. Most drinks/cocktails were Ok, but Coco Loco was outstanding. Ceviche, chicken skewers, arroz con camaron, Mahi-Mahi were outstanding. Villas had 2 levels, 2 bedrooms and a living room. A nice extra was the outdoor shower. Yoga classes included.
Cons: Price was a little steep.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and Sushi dinner were delicious! Location was great--short walk to the beach, off main road, but close enough to get anywhere easily. We did a combo of walking and driving to get around.
Cons: We had a little trouble with the plumbing in the rooms, but the staff took action immediately and fixed everything.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great, food, facilities and location. The staff were fantastic, they made us feel at home the moment we arrived!
Cons: There was some construction noise in the area...but that goes with a small town growing in popularity.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our bungalow surpassed my expectations. We loved the terrace for having drinks and watching the wildlife. Liked the outdoor bathroom but the shower was a bit weak. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Location is excellent.
Cons: The owner was very rude when we said we couldn’t pay the full amount in cash and considering we stayed for 9 nights it was quite a lot of money to expect us to get a taxi to the bank and carry around. She did not speak to me like I would expect to be spoken to as a guest and we ended up paying extra to pay through PayPal. I do not think you should be passing these costs to the customer and we stayed in a lot of places in Costa Rica and never had issues with paying through PayPal or card machine. The owner was happy to accept a deposit through PayPal when we first booked it! We had thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed there again but the way we were treated by the owner on our last day would put us off staying there again in the future.

Pros: The breakfast was really good. The location is very close to the beach and several restaurants. The rooms are clean and since there are several bathrooms and showers they never get occupied. I recommend anyone to stay here and also to try the yoga.
Cons: WiFi could be better. It can also get a bit noisy during the nights and since the rooms only has fans and no air conditioning it can get a bit hot.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Small, polished hotel within an easy walk to the beach, but off the main road, quiet and intimate. Big, clean villas. Overall a pleasant stay.
Cons: We arrived around 3pm, check in starts at 2pm, yet nobody was at the reception already (they left us a message to contact them). After a 5hr journey an offer of water or coffee would’ve also been nice. We were also initially disappointed with the quality of included (but not free!) breakfasts (which were not the same as the hotel restaurant’s ones), but one word to the manager remedied that and I trust they will improve on that score.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a great place to relax. It’s perfectly located, close to nice restaurants and the surf spot of Santa Teresa but at the same time a little hidden, with a relaxing pool area and yoga deck. Not much noise apart from birds and howler monkeys. Our villa was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfy! Staff was very friendly and offered us a smoothie upon arrival. Felt very special!
Cons: Our bathroom sink was leaking and our last breakfast was not as good as the first two but apart from that, everything was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, fully equipped and cosí place.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing....except the water pressure was above average.
Cons: These people tell you one thing and do another. I walked into my room the first night after a torrential rain storm only to find water all over the floor. The shower drain was totally clogged so I got to stand in my dirty water for the entire shower. They have ZERO air conditioning where I have to sleep (bedroom). Two days into my stay I received an emergency call from my family concerning the health status of my 93 year old Father, who could die at any moment, so I had to leave the next day for home. The girl at checkout just laughed at me when I asked for my money back for the three remaining days. They are the most dishonest people I have ever encountered in my 67 years on the planet. They have ZERO regard for the patrons and are strictly interested in stealing your money. I will dispute this charge with Visa and they will be entitled to ZERO monies as far as I am concerned. Stay away from these criminals.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, very calm, beautiful yoga studio, great breakfast and the staff at the reception was very kind and helpful.
Cons: The water of the swimming pool should be cleaner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place! I did yoga in the early evenings which was a lovely way to end the afternoon before dinner. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff were so helpful. This is such a peaceful spot off the main road and I would love to go back!
Cons: The bathroom had some wear and tear and it would have been nice to have coffee/milk in the kitchen area. There are no views from the rooms - all windows are quite high up.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice place. Stayed just one night on are way home but can recommend the hotel for those who want to spend more time there. Yoga classes on the premisses and just a short walk to the beaches.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really spacious apartment, very clean, great yoga sessions, lovely pool area and really close to a beautiful beach. Great stay!
Cons: Only small niggle was that the additional taxes and add on costs on check in, plus the extra charge for paying on card made it one of the more time expensive places we stayed during our trip, and any yoga classes etc were all charged as extras whereas other places we stayed included this

Cons: Pool was out of action during our stay.
6.8 Good
Pros: Excelente ubicación
Cons: Lugar deteriorado, necesita mejoras. Tampoco me gustó que pintarán sobre los azulejos del baño. Esto es personal y una cuestión de estilo, pues en realidad tenía concordancia con el estilo de habitación, pero la pintura se había comenzado a quitar y no Lucía bien
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, reachable all the time, organized great surfing lessons and transport for us. All in all very chilled atmosphere and a very good location.
Cons: The light in the room wasn't really good and there have been some things that would need a renewal.
7.0 Good
Pros: The facilities were great - pool table, games, pool, outdoor deck space, lots of books and games. The breakfast included for this price was also a big perk.
Cons: The bed was pretty uncomfortable... lumpy pillows and mattress where you could feel the springs.

Pros: Great place, with a big kitchen and lots of common areas to hangout. The pool is clean and has views over Playa Carmen. Great staff!
