Wink Capsule Hostel

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The place is kept spotless by the cleaning ladies who work very hard and ceaselessly. The pods and beds are very comfortable. The décor is really trendy. The hostel offers tours at discounted prices.

The kitchen/breakfast room is rather small for the number of guests staying at the hostel. The lack of proper kitchen facilities (hobs) was a bit of a problem for me. Some more hooks in the bathrooms and dorms would be very handy as sometimes there is no place to hang one's towel.

location is very close to mrt station. staffs are very nice. cereal, milk, bread, fried noodle, and fresh fruits for breakfast and enough for everybody. bathroom is clean. they provide towel. i can borrow adapter for free.

the latchs in restroom broke. the rainshowerfall intensity is not good. i take a long time to wash my hair.

Perfect Chinatown location. Elton at check in was the nicest guy ever. Helped me with suitcase to top floor (I'm older). Guided me with online app for taxi, spoke eloquently and had the most pleasant disposition.he is an asset to your establishment.

The stairs....but then I'm old. No window but who cares. At least the AC worked great.

Perfect location. The hostel is just located bout 4 minutes walk to Chinatown MRT, and 1 minute to Chinatown Heritage/Foodstalls Street. Free breakfast everyday! We never expected the hostel served us fried beehun and fried fried noodles as part of breakfast. They also serve cereals, milk, fruit, bread/toasts, and coffee/milo. Very clean bedroom and toilet. The young lady staffs wash the toilets day and night. (Thumbs up to them) They even have air conditioning in the toilet! Very big locker to store all your belongings! The towels can be changed every 2 days. They also will provide disposable slippers upon your arrival. Very kind, polite, and helpful staffs.

The bedroom will feel quite warm if the curtain is closed. We slept on upper deck for 3 nights, and we have to pull open the curtain to allow more air flow midnight. I would suggest to install mini ventilation fan to allow better air flow. Btw, if you sleep on upper deck (double bed), the curtain cannot be closed 100%. There will be some gap (bout 10+ cm) on the side of the curtain. This might be an issue for travellers that need more privacy.
