I wasn’t even able to get a car even though I had a reservation! Your marajuana-smell filled establishment said I had to wait possibly 3 hours to even get a car!!!!!!! Absolutely horrible customer service. I will NEVER rent a car from enterprise again and will tell everyone I know in DC to stay away. *literally people rolling drugs in the waiting area!!!!! Shameful.

Tires slid in the rain; staff were not very courteous in addressing my questions; funny smell in the car and cupholders, etc., were a bit dingy; extended time waiting for my vehicle to be ready during pickup time.

Pros:

The car (Chevy Cruze hatchback) got good gas mileage and was easy to drive.

Cons:

Kayak allowed me to book a trip which ended on Labor Day. When I got to the Enterprise location I was then told they were closed on Labor Day and I'd need to pay extra. I got lucky and found street parking so the hassle was only the added cost, but I really didn't appreciate this surprise. Once you add the insanely overpriced insurance, Enterprise is phenomenally expensive now and I won't use them for the foreseeable future. Also, what's with them always trying to force me to take an "upgrade" which is inevitably a gas guzzler? No, that's a downgrade, to pay triple the gas money, guys.

People carrier

Car did feel like someone previous had driven it very hard. Was not a smooth riding vehicle and braking was quite rough. Also oil lights kept coming on and had to add tyre air several times despite the person checking this and topping up air prior to taking the car.
