Cons:Is this survey a joke? We were told we had a room by a staff member only to have another person call us back as were driving there and tell us we couldn’t have the room. What kind of customer service is this? We found a better place to stay in the end, and I’ll not plan on frequenting Best Western if there are other options in the future

Pros:Location is superb. Right on Mackenzie beach and a short 3-5 minute drive into town. You can walk along the beach to a neighbouring property and visit Lil' Ronnie's Beachside BBQ, and I highly recommend it for the brisket. Staff were very friendly. The hotel is dog friendly so lots of other guests with dogs made it feel way more relaxing than some stuffy fancy place on the beach. Wifi was decent enough and didn't drop out for us. Would definitely stay again.
Cons:Being dog friendly is nice, but keep in mind it's a humid location that gets quite cool at night which means it will smell like a dog friendly room. It's not overwhelming and if you're traveling with your dogs you're probably used to it already. That said, since it's on the beach with all the sand as well, I would think an all tile floor would be better than carpet both for sand and retaining less odour. The hotel and rooms didn't scream best Western since they were overall very nice, but the bathrooms certainly did. Fairly dated and cramped but they did the job and there was lots of hot water.

Pros:The hotel is right on the beach and the views from most rooms are amazing. The staff are very friendly. The lobby and restaurant are clean and updated Our dogs were greeted with a dish, blanket and milkbone
Cons:The noise from the people above us was too much! We had our 1 yr old with us and she kept being woken up from the noise. We phoned the front desk a few times and never heard anything back from them and the noise never stopped. We had a dog friendly room and it wasn’t super clean. The bedskirts were pretty dirty and there were little piles of dirt in the corners in the bathroom.

Pros:The gorgeous view of the beach was a perfect way to start and end the day. Fabulous location, close to town and quiet enough at night to sleep with the window open and listen to the sea.

Pros:Loved the location. It was on Mackenzie beach and super close to both Chesterman and Cox bay surf beaches. Also loved the fact it had 2 hot tubs, which was a nice way to relax after a day of surfing. This was by far the nicest place I have ever stayed in Tofino, mind you I usually camp or sleep in my car. Staff were friendly adn went out of there way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. They always had fresh fruit and cookies at the front desk.
Cons:I didn't like that I had to leave Tofino.

Pros:Food was good especially he mussells. All the staff were very courteous and helpful.

Pros:The staff were very friendly. There was complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby and in the rooms. The beach is steps from the hotel and just about every room has a terrific view of the ocean. The town of Tofino is only 5 minutes by car or you can take the bike path. We can't wait to come back in the future.
