When we came first they give us so ugly room with broken roof, they say room have 25 m but is Smoller one, after a pay MOORe they give us „better room” but Anyway This hotel it was mistake,No for this price,we dont have a hot water,my friends dont have a electricity, air conditioning is worked only 10PM-7 AM,you cant dry your hair because they dont have good Power of elektricity,Beach?mhmm they dont clear a seeweed, but this is a slightest problem,If you take this hotel Please make sure what they give you
Way to expensive for what you get. At restaurant guy told me I had to get my own water! Food not great, fish very oily. They had to move me bc of all night construction outside my window, ugh. Then my safe and lock didn’t work. Eco trendy is great but seen it done much better other places. Get massage for half the price down the beach.
We upgraded to the beach front after booking beach view as beach view was not great. The beach front was amazing but the price reflected it. The staff was great. the location was what i wanted a bit removed from the crazy party hotels but on the best beach strip. The food was good, healthy vegan options. The hotel manager Nestor is SUPER helpful, sweet, and tried to make everything perfect.
The hotel caters to fitness groups and it's strange to be amongst them in this destination. Bikini Bootcamp not my vibe for Tulum. The hotel owner is rude and treats her staff with disrespect and greed. She talked negatively about them openly while guest were clearly present. She's gross and knowing my money was mostly going to her sucked. We upgraded to the most expensive room in the hotel and it had no wifi connection. the connection throughout the hotel was not good. A few things i would expect at a hotel this price were not available, no mini frig, no robes or slippers, no hairdryer and a rule you couldn't use one anyway.
The location is absolutely amazing. The resort has a great vibe, though it's clear that most people are there for a class or bootcamp – in that sense, we felt like everyone knew each other already from previous interactions. The food is good but the menu is quite limited and gets old after a few days. The 3-bed room we had was a top floor and we were given a few options on check-in. The cleaning staff was friendly and filled up our water jug every day. We never had any issues parking our vehicle in a dedicated spot in the lot.
Charging 15% to add restaurant charges to the room or 9% to use a credit card is absolutely outrageous, whether this is done by other resorts or not. The restaurant staff was adamant on adding our charges to our room even though time and again we told them we would always be paying cash to avoid what we consider to be unacceptable convenience fees. The check-in staff were transparent about the fees at least. If you are in Tulum to party and get back late, you will definitely be woken up early by different types of classes. The bikini bootcamp is especially loud and our room was right next to the main structure where the loud music was playing. The beds were not very comfortable, though it was nice to have insect nets. The resort felt safe but you should know that due to the type of construction, the door lock isn't all that great so using the safe is a must for high-value items. While it is super nice to hear the ocean, this does come at the expense of privacy. You will probably be heard by your neighbors and there is very little privacy inside the suite. This is probably fine if you know your roommates well but it might be an issue for some people.
