The view from the hotel was fabulous and the hotel was beautiful. The staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough to make our stay a very memorable experience. Can’t wait to go back.

This hotel exceeded our high expectations. Loved all the little nooks to sit and enjoy the hotel and the lake views. Beautiful furniture and decor, and amazing rooftop view for dinner. We cancelled accommodation elsewhere to stay an extra night here and it was worth every penny. Definitely worth paying for a lake view room.

Well thought out renovation. Shaving/makeup mirror had well placed light so that it could be used. Loved”P“ on switch, to easily identify main power switch. True find in Udaipur. Sorry that’s we had to argue with Rajasthani agent to stay. “No” there is no parking for agency car or accommodations for agency driver and this is not a drive up to front door with large car hotel luggage situation. Old cities in many Indian towns have very narrow streets which do not accommodate modern cars, however tut tuts work. Truly one of the best small hotels we have stayed in.

This hotel is stunning! The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was newly renovated and luxurious. The towels and linen were of a high quality and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The location is exceptional. The hotel is situated in the old town and within walking distance of the City Palace and other tourist sites. It is quiet and being directly on the lake, affords guests spectacular views of the Monsoon Palace, City Palace and Taj hotel. We particularly enjoyed our meals on the terrace, relaxing on the well postioned window seats and having coffee on our balcony overlooking the lake. We can't wait to return!
