Yokohama hotels near Kanagawa Kenmin Hall

Pros: I stayed in 3 levels of rooms during my 2 stays in the same week. The higher levels definitely were more enjoyable. I did choose to include breakfast each morning and was happy with that decision. While expensive it is expansive and extremely well prepared. I also used the fitness center each day and found the additional cost worthwhile as in addtion to the gym there are full locker areas with Japanese style baths and sauna as well as a pool.

Pros: The Royal Park Hotel is always great. We have stayed there many times. The rooms are large and well appointed, the staff is nice, and the View, especially if you have a bay view, is great. Since the hotel starts fifty floors up, all views are spectacular. The breakfast buffet on the top floor is great with a wonderful view.

Pros: Hotel was lovely, clean and very accommodating. I found it very comfortable. I do not understand some of the mixed reviews I found on the website. I would definitely stay there again.

Pros: + Got a free upgrade to the "Intercontinental Suite", with amazing views of Minatomirai, the Yokohama Bay, and Bashamichi. + The staff also pro-rated my first night's stay since I checked in at 4am. + Hotel is very nice, quiet, and has fast+reliable WiFi! + Location is excellent: the Intercontinental is one of the landmark buildings in the modern Minatomirai neighborhood of Yokohama; it just across a pedestrian overpass to Minatomirai Station and Queens Mall + Landmark Tower and all of the rest of the surrounding attractions. + Easy access to Tokyo via Minatomirai Station (from where you can catch a train direct to many Tokyo neighborhoods or get anywhere with 1 transfer). (I would recommend using Hyperdia (http://www.hyperdia.com/en/) for looking up train directions.) + While I was checking out, a staff member came up to help me with my two large suitcases and spoke into his headset to have a cab waiting for me by the time we got down the escalator. + Many more instances such as this of subtle and excellent customer service are what really defined this stay for me. + Access to the airports is easy via Yokohama station where the Keikyū Airport Line will take you to Haneda in 30 min or the JR Narita Express will take you to Narita in 1.5 hrs. If you are traveling light, you can change trains at Yokohama to the Minatomirai line and take that to Minatomirai Station, which is a block from the Intercontinental. (If you have a lot of bags, as I did, you might find it easier to take a 10 min cab ride between Yokohama station and Minatomirai station.)

Pros: Lovely building.. a land mark. Super location, easy to get to transit, and shopping, sites. Comfortable bed and large room for Japan. Staff and facilitirs excellent.

Pros: Stay here often because of larger rooms compared to other business hotels, friendly and helpful staff and location between Kannai and Ishikawacho stations

Pros: My room wasn't big, but I was nonetheless pleasantly surprised by it, given what I paid. The hotel has some style, though my room was a little characterless, and had no view of anything interesting out the window. The room had a simple desk, which was useful to me. I needed to do laundry, and they had a simple in-house laundromat which was cheap and easy to use. Everything was spotlessly clean. Two subway station were within about a seven-minute walk. Reception staff were friendly and polite.

Pros: The hotel is clse to a train station and also to Yokohama's shopping center so it is quite convenient.

Pros: This hotel was an excellent value for the money. It was located directly in front of a metro station and within walking distance to China Town. The rooms were clean though a little on the small side but it didn't matter as we were out most of the time sight seeing.

Pros: Good hotel location, spacious rooms. Nice personnel at frontdesk on departure. Hotel looks nice from outside.

Pros: I liked the convenience to the subway station. I felt safe there. Spacious for the money.
