Guest House Futareno - Hostel - Yokohama - Building
1
9.3 Excellent (750 reviews)
S$ 37+
Overview Reviews
A stay at Guest House FUTARENO - Hostel places you in the heart of Yokohama, within a 5-minute walk of Iseyama Kotai Shrine and Naritasan Yokohama Betsuin. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice private room, clean bathroom.
Cons: It's small. But it's a hostel, so i guess it's ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It really does feel like home away from home and I loved that. I was afraid a bit that because of that I would not like the cleanliness or general organization of the place, but I actually really liked it - and cleanliness is TOP NOTCH!
Cons: I was super-tired that day after a whole day of standing on foot and walking around without getting to sit down for any reasonable amount of time, so having to climb to the upper deck of the bunk beds really hurt my feet - but it was not on "Futareno", they could not have known. I would say if you know this will be a problem for you too, you might want to ask them in your booking if booking the lower bunk would be possible.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: A little smell in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Traditional
Cons: Sleeping mats a little uncomfortable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Humble and friendly host
Cons: Its about the location. Its a little in the uphill, need a lot of energy especially while carrying lots of things at the peak of summer season
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very helpful.
Cons: The place and the people attending to your needs.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff really friendly and helpful, the house is amazing and comfortable, old style and nice place to stay
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I could not recommend Guest House Futareno enough! It was such a pleasant stay throughout, perfect for any kind of traveller - whatever your purpose or background. First, the staff and owners were really friendly and welcoming! The shared lounge area was a great place to wind down after a long, hot summer’s day. It was a lovely social space where you can chat with everyone while also doing your own thing. So thoughtfully decorated, where every nook and cranny is filled with little treasures. Rooms and beds were really comfortable, allowing for a good nights rest! I felt right at home and the curtains provide just the right amount of privacy. My room even had a dressing counter/vanity table equipped with everything you need to get ready in the morning. The amenities were spotlessly clean and comfortable to use. There are 2 bathrooms, one Japanese style and another Western style so you can choose which you fancy. Another big bonus was that the kitchen has lots of spices and cooking equipment. Also, laundry services (clean, dry AND folded) are available for a small fee which was super helpful for me! Thank you so much Kenta-san, Mina-san and Yasu-san!! I will recommend this guest house to all my friends and family coming to Yokohama.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the japanese couple is running the hostel. they're so friendly and kind.
Cons: it's little inconvenient to have Access it sometime.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a great time here!! Not every hostel's common area is friendly and inviting, but this one really is. :)

Pros: Beautiful views from our room. Close proximity to shopping centers, subway, amusement park and short taxi ride from international cruise terminal! Large rooms with excellent bathroom. Luggage storage available pre-checkin and checkout. Airporter bus service available.
Cons: Nothing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is great, all I saw in pictures. The view is amazing! I booked for the view and the bathtub looking at the Yokohama Bay and it was all I dreamed it to be.
Cons: The heat! Crazy summer, 40C in the streets and the room with such a huge window, you would think they would out a nice AC, but no! The AC was at 18C, you couldn't make it lower and I paid a lot of money for that view, I wasn't going to close the curtains to keep it cool! VERY BAD POINT there, it was suffocating. The bathroom, wow! If you plan, like I did, to spend a lot of time in the room, be aware. It's hot like hell.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: View, location, ambiance, beds.
Cons: Group check in all at the same time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and comfortable! The bathroom was spacious and the bathtub, amazing and the view from the bedroom was beautiful.
Cons: I thought the breakfast was a bit weak. Everything else was perfect!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with nice view very good
Cons: Very are many girls staff the welcoming Japanese customers more than foreign customers
6.7 Good
Pros: The location to the cruise terminal was fabulous. The breakfast fell short in choices.
Cons: We were quoted around $572 AUD and we were charged $647 AUD which did not make us happy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff and location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: LOVED the location! Being connected to the hall and therefore within a 2-minute walk to stores, restaurants and the subway was AMAZING! Also being across the street from the amusement part and famous Cosmic Clock Ferris Wheel was Aldo simply awesome. The views - gorgeous! We really lucked out! Will DEFINITELY stay here again!
Cons: Would have loved a swimming pool for family to enjoy, including children.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely and our room was spacious. Great location!
Cons: We didn’t like that the pool and gym were not included in the price and were an additional (expensive) cost to use.

This hotel has 15715 square feet (1460 square meters) of space consisting of a conference center and a meeting room. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Liked the pajama like nightshirt.
Cons: Should consider more security.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Nothing to fault on room cleanliness and housekeeping. However, front desk, concierge and gym staff are lukewarm in service attitude - and their English language communication isn’t up to mark, especially the gym service staff. Please note that hotel guests must pay to use gym and swimming pool, and it’s rather expensive.
Cons: Must pay extra to use pool and gym. Breakfast starts only at 7am that made it impossible for us to eat as we leave hotel at 7am. Expensive breakfast coupons are wasted and no refund was possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff made it
Cons: Nothing Everything was great
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Great location in minatomirai part of Yokohama.
Cons: Expensive
8.8 Excellent
Pros: staff service was amazing
Cons: you could not get food in hotel after 10pm
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Over priced. Only check in by 4 pm and out by 11 am. Staff were not friendly nor helpful. Room smelled of smoke even though it was not a smoking room
Cons: Unfriendly and rude staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice large room, very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Royal Park Hotel is always great. We have stayed there many times. The rooms are large and well appointed, the staff is nice, and the View, especially if you have a bay view, is great. Since the hotel starts fifty floors up, all views are spectacular. The breakfast buffet on the top floor is great with a wonderful view.
Cons: The check-out procedure could be better. You often have to stand in a long line if you check out at 11:00 am. I don't understand why a modern hotel in a modern country like Japan forces you to stand in line to check out rather than do it electronically.
6.7 Good
Pros: Overall, rooms were spacious and service was what you would expect. Decor a little dated and some staff didn't speak english very well, but these were minor points.
Cons: I booked this hotel because of the spa facilities...I wanted to pay a little extra to treat myself. When I went to use the spa, I found out it wasn't even free for hotel guests- they charge around €50 for one use! That's the most expensive swim ever! And to add to that, the jacuzzi was filthy. I really felt cheated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location with easy access to the mall and metro station. Mountain Fuji was able to see at the room.
Cons: Nothing much to mention.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and lovely room with view
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff could have spoken a little more English as there was a lot of us and couldn’t understand us also we weren’t able to ascess the pool due to a wedding would have been good to be told this
Cons: Staff could have spoken a little more English as there was a lot of us and couldn’t understand us also we weren’t able to ascess the pool due to a wedding would have been good to be told this

Pros: Facility is so nice. It is traditional but very clean. Every staffs were so nice.
Cons: Only one sad thing was tooth brush. It was poor.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: By far the largest room I've had in Japan. The room was a little older but there wasn't anything wrong with it. It had a great view of Yokohama harbor and the Yokohama Bay Bridge. The staff was great and accommodating and even held onto my luggage before I checked in and after I checked out.
Cons: There wasn't anything wrong with this hotel. The original price for the room was to high in my opinion but it was just fine with the discount I got from the site.

Cons: most of the furnishing were a little worn. The buffet was limited, but it TASTES delicious.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The amazing view of Yokohama bay from our room window, I could sit and look at it for hours, and it was extra wonderful all lit up at night. The room was great in all respects, and the staff, Wow! They know the meaning of courtesy & service, exceeding even the usual high standards of Japan. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again, no hesitation.
Cons: I couldn't fault it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not so far from Yokohama station, Handy phone provided is very convenient, very clean rooms, charger for different devices provided
Cons: Ok
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a great location, if you come back late, just ignore the drinkers outside. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel is fairly new so everything feels new and the design stylish. I was on the higher floor there so there was little noise from the street below.
Cons: WiFi. The WiFi in the room was terribly slow. If I had needed it for work then I would have been in trouble. If you go downstairs to the HUB bar on the 2nd floor there is usable WiFi there.
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenient and clean
Cons: It was all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities.. Breakfast (1700yen) /prs
Cons: It's difficult to see the name Hotel from the street. Took me 5 minutes to find it although I was 20 meters near.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, cleanliness
Cons: None
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location for walking access to city life , Yokohama sights & the central station.
Cons: This is clearly designed as a business "mans" hotel for short stay occupancy. We were there for a week - one of four following Scotland in the RWC 2019. Thus considerable luggage & minimal storage space. Small wardrobe & no cupboards. Sound insulation left a bit to be desired. Baby crying in the adjacent room @ 3am was a bit if a disturbance.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was great, very close to the train station. The room was clean and modern with a nice bathroom.
Cons: My main disappointment was how expensive it was - it was a weekend of the world cup rugby game but it was very expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in around Japan.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The complimentary smart phones in the rooms are so handy for calling home, GPS for taking out and looking things up. Japanese style bath was really nice. Toilet in separate room. Comfy beds and clean modern design. Restaurant and pub downstairs, laundry facilities where you can check status of machines on the room TV. Tons of restaurants and Yokohama Station nearby walking distance. The whole family loved it, especially after staying in the tiniest cramped rooms at Hotel Wing International.
Cons: Can’t really think of anything to complain about. It’s a great hotel!
7.1 Good
Pros: Top location!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Stay in good location
Cons: -
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a business hotel in a very convenient location for business people. It sits atop a Shinkansen station, one stop each from Shinagawa and Nagoya. Still, a lots of tourists stay there, probably because ... actually, i don't know why.
Cons: Shin-Yokohama is a boring place, compared with Yokohama and Tokyo. I must have taken more than 20 business trips to Shin-Yokohama, but this is only the second time i stayed overnight. There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself. You sometimes have to wait a minute for the elevator as the reception is on the 11th floor. There should be a good view of Mt. Fuji, but unfortunately that is blocked by the highrise across the road.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel i snot in the main Yokohama area. But 02 stop away by metro. Underneath hotel is shopping complex, train, metro, lots of food, easy connect to other places. Ovwral prive value for 02 rooms is good compare to if we stayed in hotel at Yokohama main cbd area. Overall great value, varieties of food to use within the complex.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location right at SHIN-YOKOHAMA station was really nice with access to the station all the restaurants and shops. Best location. Hotel was nice and comfortable and free drinks in the lounge was a nice touch.
Cons: This was a great hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice and comfy hotel, only 15 minutes away from Tokyo center with the Shinkansen, the hotel is located on top of a mall with the train station under it!
Cons: It is a good hotel! But quite expensive for what and where it is to be honest
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very clean
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to train station, shopping and dining.
Cons: No bar in the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located inside the Shin-Yokohama station. Big clean room which not able to find in this offering price. Breakfast is fantastic, i love Italian style coffee in the breakfast corner. Taste not so common to find in Japan, like it. Alcohol, beverage vending machine and free ice machine in every floor. Coin laundry in one floor.
Cons: Difficult to access to hotel after 23:00hrs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception staff were lovely and even sang Happy Birthday to my husband when we arrived! Lovely clean comfortable rooms and the location is ideal for station and Nissan Stadium. Breakfast was superb in lovely open terrace, felt we were outside which was nice. All in all a lovely stay. Thank you all.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast , lounge room with free coffee and thee, helpful personnel
Cons: In fact nothing. Room could have been a little larger. Wheelchair blocked the way of others.

Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A good sized room and bed, particularly for Japan. Great location and views over bay.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit cold but very varied.
7.5 Good
Pros: New high-rise building in affluent part of Yokohama. Location was ok, about 10 minutes walk to different public transport links and shopping mall. Spotlessly clean as others have noted. 7-11 store at entrance and large supermarket just next door.
Cons: Didn’t use restaurant and chose to avoid breakfast because of high price. A little sterile - would suit business travellers best. No bar area as far as I could see. Gym was primitive. Room was quite small and no storage for clothes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Vista Premio Yokohama is in excellent location, very nice view of the Yokohama Bay and can even see the cruise ship at Osanbashi Cruise Port. It is in close proximity to OK Supermarket and other shops. There is also a 7-Eleven Store on the Ground Floor of the hotel. It is also a walking distance to the shopping malls in Minato Mirai.
Cons: The breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel may be fine for locals and other guests but may not be for westernised guests. Generally the food that should be hot are at room temperature. As a suggestion, may be good to have other varieties of cereals not only corn flakes.
7.0 Good
Pros: Close to the meeting venue.
Cons: BB was ok; however most of the food was Asian. The room was much smaller than I expected because the floor layout was very confusing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, clean and had all the amenities that you could want for. 7 eleven just down stairs and a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Maybe 1.5kms from Yokohama train station.
Cons: The breakfast area could get very crowded and while it closes at 10am they generally will not let you in after 9:30am.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was convenient
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked the location and the surrounding restaurants and bars. More than just Chinatown in this area!
Cons: The room's had a very foul smell. I think it is to do with the moisture in the air and the door being constantly open/ closed to the bedroom which is near to the outdoor corridor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and they even helped me carry some of my luggage up when I was about to check in. The bed was VERY comfortable and I had one of the best nights sleep over there. The hostel is a 5 mins walk from Ishikawacho station and a 5 mins walk to Yokohama Chinatown. Great value for the solo traveller
Cons: The room was a little foul smelling at first due to the number of clothes and towels hanging by the bedside but you will get used to it fast.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a fine hotel on the waterfront and most top hotels in Japan will not be disappointing. Very clean, polite staff, awesome location, professionally kept.
Cons: The room sizes at this hotel and most others tend to be a little small. I do not like to feel I am closed in to a little space. This is my only real complaint.

Cons: No pool
7.1 Good

7.9 Good
Pros: I like the smell when I entered the hotel premises.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: + Got a free upgrade to the "Intercontinental Suite", with amazing views of Minatomirai, the Yokohama Bay, and Bashamichi. + The staff also pro-rated my first night's stay since I checked in at 4am. + Hotel is very nice, quiet, and has fast+reliable WiFi! + Location is excellent: the Intercontinental is one of the landmark buildings in the modern Minatomirai neighborhood of Yokohama; it just across a pedestrian overpass to Minatomirai Station and Queens Mall + Landmark Tower and all of the rest of the surrounding attractions. + Easy access to Tokyo via Minatomirai Station (from where you can catch a train direct to many Tokyo neighborhoods or get anywhere with 1 transfer). (I would recommend using Hyperdia (http://www.hyperdia.com/en/) for looking up train directions.) + While I was checking out, a staff member came up to help me with my two large suitcases and spoke into his headset to have a cab waiting for me by the time we got down the escalator. + Many more instances such as this of subtle and excellent customer service are what really defined this stay for me. + Access to the airports is easy via Yokohama station where the Keikyū Airport Line will take you to Haneda in 30 min or the JR Narita Express will take you to Narita in 1.5 hrs. If you are traveling light, you can change trains at Yokohama to the Minatomirai line and take that to Minatomirai Station, which is a block from the Intercontinental. (If you have a lot of bags, as I did, you might find it easier to take a 10 min cab ride between Yokohama station and Minatomirai station.)
Cons: - No power outlets accessible by the beds, hard to get at by the desk. - No ethernet (wired) internet connection. - Shower head and beds a bit short (I am 6'/1.8m and they were just fine, I would say that anyone taller might need to bend their knees, but this size is also typical of hotels in Japan).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love everything there. The staff was so nice. The food is brilliant. The room was excellent. It was only one night but it was so memorable for me. I am very impressed.
Cons: -
6.7 Good

Pros: Happy hour provided just the right amount of food after our flight from Canada. Loved our introduction to Japanese breakfast (I really like it) and they had some of the best croissants outside of France. Bathrooms had everything needed including English instructions. Awesome location that made it really easy to explore Yokohama on foot, even in the rain (umbrellas available at the desk). Great variety of restaurants close by. Hotel did an excellent job of keeping to Balinese theme throughout hotel.
Cons: We found the bed too firm and the futon comforter too warm. Rooms very small by North American standards - be prepared (and we managed for four days with 2 adults, 2 suitcases, two carry-on bags and some shopping).

Pros: Showers and bath area with sauna was great. Sit down, open area showers with very hot bath and cold plunge pool. In it every night. Staff are brilliant
Cons: Sounds obvious but pods are very cramped. Don't stay more than a couple of nights. Also beware you get kicked out of your pod at 10am until well after 3pm every day. An army of cleaners come in and go for it. Good luck trying to get in during this time. Common areas are still open.

Cons: Bed is a bit hard
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was excellent. The beds were very uncomfortable(hard), which seems to be normal for Asian hotels. The whole Hotel smelt like cigarette smoke which made it very unpleasant. Would be good to have staff who can speak English and show us how to get around and local sites to visit etc. Rooms were small for 3 people, and quite cramped. I would not stay here if it were not for the good location to the port where we left on our cruise ship.

Pros: The service is very good! The facilities are great! The room is clean and tidy!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for half a day in between getting off our cruise ship in the morning and our late night flight. Location was very central. A few blocks away from Chinatown, opposite the Yamashita park which I enjoyed very much and also opposite the MYK Hikawamaru ship. One block away from the Keikyu airport bus which the reception had the timetable for and was very helpful to show me how to get to the bus stop. Just 2 mins walk away was a McDonalds and a convenience store where I bought some sushi for dinner. The balcony had a view of the park and cruise centre. Had good sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom.
Cons: Room was small.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The rooms are like visiting my great grandmother in the 70's, same furniture and smell. It is a 15 min walk from the cruise terminal so you can see your ship, sadly the lack of noise control in the rooms (door latches are loose so every sound from outside is easily heard, and this means every horn on the harbour is heard, It is popular with Americans as there is a McDonalds downstairs and a pancake parlour. There are many hotels that are closer to the cruise terminal around the same price without the 70's decor and old persons odours.
Cons: No one speaks any English, whenever you go to the front desk, they all point to a sign that says 2pm (check in time) tried to explain we just wanted to leave bags, eventually they got the drift. There are loud speakers in the park opposite and from early morning to evening you can hear her screaming to sell tickets for boat tours, forget sleeping in. The curtains are not blockout so if you like to wake up at 4am each day, this is the place for you. The beds squeak badly and are lumpy. The pillows are filled with hard plastic balls, like sleeping on marbles.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great view of the port from our balcony.
Cons: More hanging space.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: 1. The location. It is near chinetown, minatomirai, and in front of yokohama stadium. Lots of restaurant. I would recommend the restaurant sukia. It was really good. 2. The behavior of staffs. Specially, one staff has helped me a lot to understand the functionality of the Japanese washing machine. It was unexpected. 3. The atmosphere. 4. Great room service. 5. Quality of room and bathroom are good and specious. 6. Secure.
Cons: More fluency in English may be helpful for international travelers. Though I found their English are better than other places.
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff is very polite and friendly. The hotel is at a great location close by the JR station.
Cons: We stayed 4 nights at this hotel (Sadly, we had pre-payed the room. Otherwise would have gone to another hotel). When we checked in, we saw that the room was not cleaned properly. We contacted the front desk and they moved us to another room. This room was not any cleaner. So we went back to the front desk. They asked us to go out and come back later so that they could clean the room. We went out. When we came back the room was partially cleaned. We took some pictures and showed these at the front desk. They promissed us that they would take care of the rest of the cleaning in the morning. In de morning we saw that the cleaning ladies did not even have a proper Hoover. To the management of this hotel: you have cleaning ladies that work really hard. Please give them a proper Hoover so that they can do their job. If you have any allergies, consider staying at an other hotel. We posted some pictures of the airconditioning unit in de room. It will make you sick. We for sure won't be staying at any Deiwa hotels in de future.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is great. Next to China Town where you can find evetything.
Cons: The room is surprising small, considering the price paid and comparing to peers.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location across from park and next to Chinatown. Near public transit. Check in and out was easy and they held our luggage until che k in time. Also comfotable reception area for waiting was nice with use of wifi.8
Cons: Just needed a brighter light in bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: outside the window are only walls
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Stay here often because of larger rooms compared to other business hotels, friendly and helpful staff and location between Kannai and Ishikawacho stations
7.5 Good
Pros: room was adequate
Cons: There was no english programme in the TV.TV should have BBC or CNN etc
7.9 Good
Pros: It was in a good location for the event I attended. It was clean and quiet and I was happy to find slippers available to wear in the room. I was also pleasantly surprised by the size of the bed. Although it isn’t part of the hotel it was really nice to have a Lawson convenience store on the ground level of the building.
Cons: There was a slight odor in the bathroom. It lingered so I assume it is always like that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room. Very central location but also quiet.
Cons: Breakfast a fine but not outstanding.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, short walk to trains and subway.
Cons: Room was a bit on the small side but it is Asia after all and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast room crowded. Food repetitive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My room wasn't big, but I was nonetheless pleasantly surprised by it, given what I paid. The hotel has some style, though my room was a little characterless, and had no view of anything interesting out the window. The room had a simple desk, which was useful to me. I needed to do laundry, and they had a simple in-house laundromat which was cheap and easy to use. Everything was spotlessly clean. Two subway station were within about a seven-minute walk. Reception staff were friendly and polite.
Cons: For one person, the room was fine. For two, though it had a double bed, it would have been a little cramped. And as I say, the room didn't have much character--pretty functional. But these are quibbles -- really, there wasn't anything to complain about. I would recommend it.

2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Location is fine
Cons: Ridiculously you are not allowed access the plug sockets in the bedroom unless you leave a deposit with reception first. The front desk staff were quite rude and very inflexible. Extremely inflexible with regards to check in - won’t let you even pay or fill in forms before check in which is 14:00. Would not change our room from smoking to non smoking even though the guy beside us had been assigned a non smoking room and wanted a smoking so the hotel could have easily swapped us.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy check in/out, comfortable room, close the train station, water and Chinatown.
Cons: The room was a bit small, but the usual size for a Japanese hotel room in a big city.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent; especially for access to the cruise terminal.
Cons: Rooms are small by western standards.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent all the more so as we enjoy Japanese food. Sitting between Chinatown and the wonderful harbour seafront and within easy walking distance of both as well as the two major historical areas it was an excellent location with a suburban train station only 3 minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and room was very quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing for our needs.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Aircon was broken down in room with just a portable unit that did not cool .
Cons: Poor / no aircon
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Unhelpful staff and poor check in service, rooms were poor - no plug sockets without paying a deposit in advance?! Bizarre. Not worth the money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is great for pre and post cruise stays at a reasonable price. The hotel is within easy walking distance (10 minutes) to the port terminal and the Rose Hotel (5 minute walk) which is the bus stop for the Limousine Shuttle Bus to the airports (Haneda Airport 770 yen pp; 45 minute drive). The hotel was close to shopping and China Town. The internet was fast and free.
Cons: We used the hotel as a "day base" following a cruise and before our late night flight to freshen up after local sightseeing in the heat and humidity. Our stay turned out to be only 3 hours. We had hoped to be allowed entry to our room early but there was an hourly extra charge for that which made it not practical. The staff were friendly and helpful but in spite of knowing our stay was going to be limited would not let us into our room early. The room was small but clean and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, although a tad pricey, was abundant with a wide variety of foods. The size of the bathroom was more than we expected and the location was perfect. An easy walk to the cruise terminal allowed us to enjoy the beautiful day after the typhoon.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good and location is good and close to the Osanbashi Cruise Port.

Pros: More room than expected in a single Japanese business hotel room. Fantastic location, convenient to everywhere in the Tokyo, Yokohama area. Coin operated washer-dryer actually does a good job!
Cons: Could have been cleaner. The area behind the TV was so dusty, it looked like it had never been dusted since it was installed. The area under the bed looked like it had never been vacuumed. Don't even think about storing anything there!

Pros: The bed is comfortable, it’s near to the station also.

6.7 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly and welcoming. It is also conveniently located as it is near the shopping malls and main transport networks.
Cons: The hotel needs to invest in freshening up their rooms. The carpets in the rooms are now tired and need sprucing up.
6.3 Good
Cons: Way over priced. Tricked many people into thinking the Rugby World Cup game was at the stadium close to them. Jacked up the prices 4 fold, didnt hide the fact either when I the staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They had the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel. I just sunk into it. Other than that, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the train station, less if you weren't carrying luggage, and that station was only a couple stops away from Yokohama station - great location.
Cons: I wish I had known the bed was the way it was. I would have booked an extra night or two. The only complaint I have - and this isn't really a complaint - is that you could tell that it was an older room. It was clean but you could also see the occasional scuff on the wall. That sort of thing.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Not much, location is ok but not much around it
Cons: The rooms were so small and dingy. The window was tiny and the lighting was poor.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was great, staff were nice and hotel was clean
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable and room was very very small. Washing machines and dryers did not work well. Took nearly 4 hours guarding the machine before the clothes dried.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice location and neighbourhood, modern hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. Clean rooms and everything worked.
Cons: I was expecting the rooms to be small but I found them fine. If I had one minor whinge it would be the bathroom is a mini sauna. I don't want to detract from what was a great stay.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were helpful.
Cons: The room was tiny and very cramped. The bed was small and we had one pillow each that was paper thin.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is great. My room was clean- That's about all the + that I can find.
Cons: I was expecting small room, but it was still a surprise how small it was. The bed was really soft- and I can not image how an grown man can sleep on it, 'cos I was struggling with my 53 kg. Not to mention the pillows...So I could,'t stay the entire time that I booked the room and found a new hotel There's a "onsen" on the 14th flor- but it's close between 10-17 so I wasn't able to try it..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Close to transport links and tourist hotspots.
Cons: Room was a bit small but about what I expected for a Japan business hotel.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: Rooms were tooooo small and cramped. One person even cannot move. Not worth the value for money
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Took over an hour to check in, staff seemed new and untrained and was an extremely frustrating process
