9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff are great very kind and helpful. The place feels very homey and chill like a house..which it's kinda is. The rooms are big enough for 2 people and the futon beds are comfortable. Air conditioning in the room and the facility. 2 bathrooms clean and nice. The location is ok a little bit far from the sea where everything is basically.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly, it was quiet, easy to rest.
Cons: I'm pretty allergic to dust, and I had a runny nose here. Bring your medication if you have allergies.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very welcome and friendly. They also recommend some restaurants and local events near the hotel so you can join. The hotel can be reached very easily. I highly recommend this hotel to stay.
7.1 Good
Pros: very calm at night nice living room
Cons: Too much rules and very strict! they lock the door in the afternoon (no entry or exit)??? towel extra late check-in etc.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A very cosy and charming place, with lovely staff. Free tea and a functioning kitchen, comfy bed, and not too far from the port.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and clean
Cons: It can be noisy so earplugs are a must
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely fantastic! I really enjoyed chatting with other guests as well and the general atmosphere of the hostel made it perfect for the experienced hostel-hopper. They also provide ear-plugs for people who stay in the dorm-style rooms. They also had drinks downstairs and there was a phenomenal bubble-tea place about 5 minutes away.
Cons: The hostel is located at the top of a hill walking from Sakuragicho Station. It wasn't too extreme, but because I had a large roller bag with me, it took a bit longer than I originally expected to get to the top of the hill.
The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu - Yokohama - Building

9.0 Excellent (7,505 reviews)
S$ 302+

Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view from the room. Good breakfast.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Disclaimer: We are NOT noisy tourists. We DIDN'T give any demands or anything you would find from annoying guests. We are just a newly wed couple, stayed here for our honeymoon, but this is the worst experience. Lobby staff - They didn't care even if you tried hard to speak Japanese with them. Instead, they gave you a smirk when you didn't understand and switched to English immediately, as if laughing at you. The guy during check-in was chatting extremely nicely with Japanese guests and introducing this and that to them, but when it was our turn, he introduced nothing. His smile was fake with a hint of "I don't wanna serve you". There was another lobby staff, in her 40s, who was greeting Japanese guests, but the moment she saw us, her smile disappeared immediately and walked away. Restaurant - Rude staff inside with no smile at all. Breakfast choices were mediocre with extremely slow refill. Be prepared with nothing you'd like to eat. I wrote a long comment note to the hotel when we left. They didn't even bother to reply. If this is what Japanese claims "omotenashi" (おもてなし), that's really a shame.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This wonderful hotel is ideally located close to the waterfront , fabulous eateries, cafes, restaurants, Red Brick warehouse and wonderful shopping outlets. We had a club room waterfront view and we loved the views, size of our comfy room and the very helpful staff. We would highly recommend this excellent hotel if you decide to visit Yokohama!

Cons: Nothing great place to stay
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Great location in minatomirai part of Yokohama.
Cons: Expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in 3 levels of rooms during my 2 stays in the same week. The higher levels definitely were more enjoyable. I did choose to include breakfast each morning and was happy with that decision. While expensive it is expansive and extremely well prepared. I also used the fitness center each day and found the additional cost worthwhile as in addtion to the gym there are full locker areas with Japanese style baths and sauna as well as a pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice large room, very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Royal Park Hotel is always great. We have stayed there many times. The rooms are large and well appointed, the staff is nice, and the View, especially if you have a bay view, is great. Since the hotel starts fifty floors up, all views are spectacular. The breakfast buffet on the top floor is great with a wonderful view.
Cons: The check-out procedure could be better. You often have to stand in a long line if you check out at 11:00 am. I don't understand why a modern hotel in a modern country like Japan forces you to stand in line to check out rather than do it electronically.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: View for the upper floors
Cons: The amenities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room, the location, the staff mainly the bell Captain and the staff we ran into in the hotel. Great people and eager to help in any way.
Cons: Shower floor was in need of a real cleaning of grout and sealing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is comparable larger than others. The service is high quality.
Cons: Please add some 220V power plug.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: By far the largest room I've had in Japan. The room was a little older but there wasn't anything wrong with it. It had a great view of Yokohama harbor and the Yokohama Bay Bridge. The staff was great and accommodating and even held onto my luggage before I checked in and after I checked out.
Cons: There wasn't anything wrong with this hotel. The original price for the room was to high in my opinion but it was just fine with the discount I got from the site.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our 6-people family had a wonderful Chinese Lunar New Year vacation here. New Grand is a great place to stay in Yokohama. Their staff are polite to my family. And its location is also perfect. Its opposite is Yamashita Park and it's very close to Chinatown.AND specially thanks for concierge IKUE SATOH, she speaks English very well and helps us contact different places to find my cellphone. Thank you. AND thanks for the bellman(in the front door),sorry I don't know his name. A wonderful guy with some white hair. He passed us some umbrellas when going outside at a heavy rain night. They are helpful. Anyway, thank you guys. From China
7.0 Good
Pros: Airport limosine bus just opposite the hotel Chinatown a very short walk away
Cons: Check in took very long, perhaps a bit shorthanded. The room was average, nothing special.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's history goes back a long way.
Cons: I couldn't view Macarthir's room!
8.0 Excellent
Cons: All the staff are very warm and polite, this is the best hotel in Yokohama.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. The entire staff we outstanding, the view from our double bed corner room overlooking yamashita park just unforgettable. You can't beat the location. I used the hourly seabass water taxi in front of the hotel, to cross the water to minato mirai area and to akarenga, great fun compared to using the subway. This hotel service level is outstanding, we even forwarded a bag to them weeks before arrival, and they kept it graciously for us. Upon check-in at arrival , the bag seamlessly appeared, without us even needing to issue any request! Their concierge, which spoke English well, helped us make instant bookings for the airport limo bus. Everybody at the hotel had great attitude and spoke English well.
Cons: It was perfect, with nothing to fault

7.0 Good
Pros: - large windows with a nice view of the city - eco-friendly amenities - clean bathroom - generous breakfast (my son was very glad that they served pancakes
Cons: - there was a stain on the bed sheet (see photo) and I had to scrub it off to feel at ease to sleep on it - I could hear the people next door closing their bathroom door and a lot of thumping sounds - below our room window was this very bright banner on car rental that was blinding us from the rest of the view
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was great, directly connected to the station. Lots of restaurants to eat at in the same building as well. Amenities in the room were sufficient.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was right on top of the Shinkansen no local jr station Making it very easy to get around. It had plenty of places to eat nearby and the buffet was very good. Room was excellent and staff helpful. There was a coin laundromat and vending machines and a microwave to heat up meals.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at this hotel for one night. It is perfect if you are traveling by Shinkansen as the hotel is located within the train station and it is very easy to find. The train station, like most in Japan, has a huge variety of restaurants and shopping centre attached to it. The room was very clean and well appointed and was quite large and fit two suitcases opened.
Cons: N/A
Hotel Vista Premio Yokohama Minatomirai - Yokohama - Building
7
8.7 Excellent (7,119 reviews)
S$ 146+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Vista Premio Yokohama Minatomirai in Yokohama (Minato Mirai 21), you'll be steps from Tokyo Bay and 8 minutes by foot from Pacifico Yokohama. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Rude front counter staff (non native) who replied rudely with no help offered when I had a problem with an occupied laundry machine. Attitude was bad and definitely not representative of the mostly good services i had received while staying in many other lodgings all over japan. Otherwise it was a really pleasant hotel with it's product offerings. Will b a 5/5 if not for this blatantly rude staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: very clean and decent room
Cons: check-in procedure - no stuff could help us to move the luggages from ground floor to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: clean and good breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was near the Pacifico Yokohama and the coast and I was able to go for a walk by the sea. Also, the nearest stations, Minatomirai And Yokohama are about ten minutes’ walk away and were easy to find. The hotel also has an automatic check-out machine on the ground floor so I didn’t have to take the lift all the way up to reception on the 20th floor with my luggage. Also, there is a 7-Eleven convenience store on the ground level about a minute from the hotel. Even though I had to go outside, the whole path to the convenience store was protected from the rain so I didn’t get wet.
Cons: I didn’t see a Do Not Distub button or sign to put up and housekeeping would knock up to three times a day. Once someone from housekeeping even opened the door of my room to tell me they were there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is quite big and so comfy. It’s not so far from the station but I think SHIN-TAKASHIMA is more convenient than Minatomirai if you have a big suitcase. It’s so close to Pacifico Yokohama and really about 10 mins walk. The staff was really nice and kindly help me a lot about my postbox that I have to send to hotel before I arrive in Yokohama. They all are so friendly. The automatic machine for check out is very convenient and so fast. I will go back to stay again if I have to go to Yokohama.
Cons: Nothing

You'll find that this iconic business hotel in Yokohama caters to your every need, including a fitness centre, spa, two bars and five restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was lovely, clean and very accommodating. I found it very comfortable. I do not understand some of the mixed reviews I found on the website. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons: cost for meals was high, but that seems true of all Japan hotels. Many staff did not speak English, but they always found someone who did, if necessary
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good
Cons: Good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent view of harbour and amusement park. convenient location for food, shopping and museums.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast. The hotel itself is a landmark with it's unique appearance.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. location, view, staff food etc.
Cons: Mattress could have been of Memory foam instead spring. Rest all was great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Best location! Beautiful lobby and wonderful view from the room.
Cons: We only had a bar of soap with shampoo and conditioner. Didn’t really expect such thriftiness.
6.7 Good
Cons: Pillow not comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: + Got a free upgrade to the "Intercontinental Suite", with amazing views of Minatomirai, the Yokohama Bay, and Bashamichi. + The staff also pro-rated my first night's stay since I checked in at 4am. + Hotel is very nice, quiet, and has fast+reliable WiFi! + Location is excellent: the Intercontinental is one of the landmark buildings in the modern Minatomirai neighborhood of Yokohama; it just across a pedestrian overpass to Minatomirai Station and Queens Mall + Landmark Tower and all of the rest of the surrounding attractions. + Easy access to Tokyo via Minatomirai Station (from where you can catch a train direct to many Tokyo neighborhoods or get anywhere with 1 transfer). (I would recommend using Hyperdia (http://www.hyperdia.com/en/) for looking up train directions.) + While I was checking out, a staff member came up to help me with my two large suitcases and spoke into his headset to have a cab waiting for me by the time we got down the escalator. + Many more instances such as this of subtle and excellent customer service are what really defined this stay for me. + Access to the airports is easy via Yokohama station where the Keikyū Airport Line will take you to Haneda in 30 min or the JR Narita Express will take you to Narita in 1.5 hrs. If you are traveling light, you can change trains at Yokohama to the Minatomirai line and take that to Minatomirai Station, which is a block from the Intercontinental. (If you have a lot of bags, as I did, you might find it easier to take a 10 min cab ride between Yokohama station and Minatomirai station.)
Cons: - No power outlets accessible by the beds, hard to get at by the desk. - No ethernet (wired) internet connection. - Shower head and beds a bit short (I am 6'/1.8m and they were just fine, I would say that anyone taller might need to bend their knees, but this size is also typical of hotels in Japan).
6.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent location, nice room, lovely bar overlooking Yokohama.
Cons: Very long check-in time (40 min wait), the bath plug was spherical instead of disc-shaped so water quickly leaked out, very limited and boring food on menu if you don't eat meat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was courteous and able to easily assist us during our stay. Not much of a language barrier for English speaking guests. Hotel was safe during Typhoon Hagibis. Breakfast had a large variety.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building.. a land mark. Super location, easy to get to transit, and shopping, sites. Comfortable bed and large room for Japan. Staff and facilitirs excellent.

Cons: My room was full of very sick people.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner Mr Taka Mori's mother is very hands on in everything in the hostel;speaks & understands English so communication is a bit easy on that part. Clean, secured & good staff
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super friendly, was able to check in early (very early) if you're looking for a cultural experience and are a fan of hostels this should be on your list of places to stay in the area. So good I extended my stay and will be staying again in about a month.
Cons: Honestly there was nothing that I didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The warm welcome from the stuff was so humble. I appreciate it. And the Lady (I forgot the name) she showed all the rooms starting from bed to kitchen. Even all the items are present if you wanna stay for a long time also. The price was so cheap around 3200¥ for two nights. It was much clean all the places. I found no problem anywhere.
Cons: Everything was perfect but I only didn’t feel good that in my room (A) there was 6 others among them in the first night one UK guy was so loud at the night talking over phone and next to his bed. And after checking out I went to a part time work during my work they called me but I couldn’t pick up but I called back after my work was finished and he told some guy in our room can’t find some money. Don’t know if they are blaming me or not. I really wonder how can it happen while 6 people are in a small 8 sq feet room. Even no one was there I put one of my Country’s artifact as a gift.

Pasela-no-Mori Yokohama Kannai - Yokohama - Building

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Pasela-no-Mori Yokohama Kannai in Yokohama (Kannai), you'll be steps from Tokyo Bay and 14 minutes by foot from Yokohama Stadium. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms with a spacious bathroom and additional spa materials. Free bar and snacks in the evening.
Cons: A little bit pricey, but the perks were good. Be careful if booking to go to stadium as there are 2 Yokohama stadiums. Yokohama and the international Nissan Yokohama stadium. In very different places.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was good, close to JR and subway stations. We arrived by shinkansen and it was easy to get to Kannai Station which is 10 minutes' walk from the hotel; about 10-15 minutes' walk to the Noge bar and restaurant area. Both subway lines are within easy walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised by the Balinese theme; our room had a spa bath and the hotel provided lots of free toiletries etc. The cleaning service was good. There was a free bar each evening and the hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful, mostly Japanese style.
Cons: Our room was a bit dark and felt cramped, though for a city hotel this is to be expected. The bathroom was a good size.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the amenities. So many things to grab from the lobby. Hair clips, masks, hair ties, different soaps, eye masks, ear plugs. Ladies will love it! Free drinks and nibbles every night came in handy big time! Staff were very friendly and helpful. They have bikes you can hire for free. Helped when we were too tired to walk anymore and helped to see more of the city.
Cons: The only thing I don’t like about properties in Japan are the size and I don’t think you can hold that against the property.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly team at the hotel and very willing to be of help.
Cons: The TV could not be operated because it had no operational information guide in English.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are small but adequate. Has a free bar and snacks.
Cons: Price and location
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Free bar in the evening.
Cons: Confusion with the booking. I booked a twin room but somehow it went through as single occupancy. May have been an issue with booking.com rather than with the hotel. Very expensive hotel, cramped rooms, and not a very nice area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helping nature of staff, free drinks of all type.
Cons: No Indian vegetarian food

Cons: Sun shine too close to the sitting area
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place, with rooms larger than usual for this range of price, and a good breakfast (japanese/continental) The hotel is not easy to find because Yokohama station is so large and complicated but the location is excellent with hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants around. 3 minutes only from JR line.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect for Yokohama. And the third bed is a rare find.
Cons: Sink area is common with sleeping area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, extremely clean and modern.
Cons: No complaints at all.

9.7 Excellent

Pros: Convenient to Bay Area, attractions you can I walk, beautiful quiet area,
Cons: Nothing it was all good
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Stay here often because of larger rooms compared to other business hotels, friendly and helpful staff and location between Kannai and Ishikawacho stations
7.0 Good
Pros: Location - Not too far from the train station, close to China town and opposite of Yokohama park. Convenient yet quiet.
Cons: Room is a little small
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the location, the breakfast, cleanliness
Cons: small rooms, especially one was for smokers and was smelling quite bad
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent
Cons: It would have been nice to have a spa/leisure options
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Larger room then by other hotels in this area. Great breakfast. Nice interior.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was near Chinatown. There is Lawson right downstairs so easy for late night snacks or water
Cons: Not as near to the train and subway station as I would've liked but it is walkable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My room wasn't big, but I was nonetheless pleasantly surprised by it, given what I paid. The hotel has some style, though my room was a little characterless, and had no view of anything interesting out the window. The room had a simple desk, which was useful to me. I needed to do laundry, and they had a simple in-house laundromat which was cheap and easy to use. Everything was spotlessly clean. Two subway station were within about a seven-minute walk. Reception staff were friendly and polite.
Cons: For one person, the room was fine. For two, though it had a double bed, it would have been a little cramped. And as I say, the room didn't have much character--pretty functional. But these are quibbles -- really, there wasn't anything to complain about. I would recommend it.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. There is an entrance to the Yokohama Municipal Subway station across the street. There is also the JR Kannai station a block away. Lots of restaurants in the area and an underground mall built into the subway system. Free laundry services were an excellent touch, especially for extended stays like mine. Great value during the week but prices did fluctuate during holidays and weekends.
Cons: This isn't a reflection on the hotel; Kannai is a "salaryman's district" and as such there are some less than scrupulous establishments in the area. It is by no means unsafe, just be aware before booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was simple and clean. Almost right next to the station. Comfortable beds and nice and neat!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and the bed is quite large to my expectation. Also the location is convenient with locals of stores and restaurants around.
Cons: so far so good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, accommodating staff that truly understands English, very quiet room, several convenience stores within a block away, nice firm bed, no step up into bathroom, this hotel feels brand new!
Cons: Breakfast is pricey, but the room price was a huge bargain. We will stay here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: near for everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very near to both JR station and Yokohama blue line. Attractions are also walking distance. Hotel staff are all so nice and can understand english well. Would definitely book the same hotel when I get back to Yokohama.
Cons: I hope the toiletries are already provided in each rooms not only the toothbrush.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located in the Kannai area, just a few 3-minute walk to JR Kannai station, the place is surrounded by local restaurants and shopping locations. The neighborhood is also not crowded unlike Tokyo. Kannai is also just 15 minutes away from Haneda airport via Keikyu line and is just a few stations to Yokohama and 20 minutes to Tokyo via JR. APA Kannai does quite look already run down and old compared to other APA hotels I have stayed in but still provided a relaxing stay after a whole day trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They had the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel. I just sunk into it. Other than that, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the train station, less if you weren't carrying luggage, and that station was only a couple stops away from Yokohama station - great location.
Cons: I wish I had known the bed was the way it was. I would have booked an extra night or two. The only complaint I have - and this isn't really a complaint - is that you could tell that it was an older room. It was clean but you could also see the occasional scuff on the wall. That sort of thing.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is very convenient. Close to the subway and within walking distance to the port area. The onsen was good, too.
Cons: The room was extremely small even for Japanese standards. Difficult to even put the luggage somewhere in the room. The room also wasn't very clean.
6.3 Good
Cons: No cold option for the air conditioner. The room wouldn’t get cold unless the windows are left open.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent as it is closed to public transport and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful although most of them speak limited English. There's also public hot bath facilities in the hotel for men and women separately. Although the room is small, it is value for money.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and good value. Although the room is not big, we shall return.
