Costa d'Oiro Ambiance Village

Our room was located far away from central part of hotel with more 10 other rooms. It took us about 10-15 minutes to get to breakfast or reception. This was very, very uncomfortable. Beach was same about 10-15 min .. Room design was far from 4 starts hotel , i would say 3 stars.. very simple. Pleasant environment with nice grounds and and pools. Within walking distance of restaurants in old town.Good breakfast selection and facilities.

Very picturesque, clean, quiet and easily accessible (not loads of steps and long corridors to content with). Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and took us personally to our room when we checked in rather than just wave us in the general direction which was a nice touch. It was a nice start to the day to eat breakfast on the leafy veranda by the pool in the sun before wondering down to the D'Ana beach which was a 10 minute walk and was absolutely gorgous. The complex seemed very well maintained and our room was always very clean when we returned from the beach each evening.

Waiting staff in the morning could be slow to clear the tables and it was not busy during the period we stayed there. Also, on occasions, some of the breakfast would be gone and not replenished even though there was still another 30 mins of breakfast and staff could be difficult to find to address this.

the "indoor swimming pool" is actually an outdoor pool with some sort of cover over the water... you can't use it in cool weather as you would expect from a proper indoor pool
