This part of Lisbon is beautiful and less crowded, but a 5min walk gets you to a train station from which city center is just 5/10min, but going the other direction you can get to the best beaches around Lisbon - and it's all a short journey!”

“This must be the cleanest hostel I have been staying at. We stayed in the quiet season and there were not many guests. As not unusual in warm countries in simple accommodations there is no heating, but the beds were warm and cozy. The breakfast was simple, but good. Do not expect any luxury, but overall good value for the little money we paid. Quiet location, but close to bus, tram, train and some museums.”
