View was amazing, great location
Had a problem with A/C quickly supplied a fan.
The view.
Frig in room.
GORRRGEOUS!!
The location of this hotel is unbelievable! It literally sits right on the Thames river, and the view of the Tower bridge is stunning!! Not to mention it’s incredibly beautiful on the inside, it has fantastic amenities and the restaurant inside is wonderful! It’s also a very simple walk across the bridge to the other side to get to the Tower of London and a plethora of other restaurants and shopping venues. The cost was incredibly low for what type of hotel this is, and I will absolutely recommend anyone to stay here for a gorgeous and accessible view of London!!
The parking garage is relatively small, so if you’re driving in your own car on the weekend, be aware. We had a hard time parking.
Staff friendly
Noise from wedding music way after midnight. Slow check in and check out
They aren’t kidding when they say “your room has a view!”
I began laughing and celebrating my good fortune the minute I opened the door to my room at the Tower Hotel. The wall opposite the door had a large picture window with the most incredible view of the wharf and Tower Bridge! I couldn’t believe how wonderful the location of this hotel was and how nice my room was. A short walk to the bridge itself, the Tower of London was next door. A short walk to the Tube station and a sightseeing boat that boards in front of the hotel. Friendly, competent hotel staff and a comfy room. You’d think it would be noisy so close to the bridge, but not a problem. Good blackout curtains too! Great stay!
Hotel breakfast was fine, but there are also good options on St. Katherine’s Docks just behind the hotel. There is also a Tesco store and a Starbucks for even more options. Both are within the block of the hotel.
Excellent location
Uncomfortable ironing board
Perfect location
The location and views provided by The Tower are perfect for touring London!
Modern version of hell
nothing
crazy hot place , slow elevators , old and stinky place , did not we say hell ?
Significant amount of outside noise, at second floor level. Beds very uncomfortable.
Nice service and awesome view but the hotel is out
the view of the tower extremely nice service (besides check in) proximity to a supermarket, tube
the room is outdated and clearly needs painting job the hotel lobby smells! the room is very small
I would never recommend or go back to this hotel. Horrible value should have stayed at the Four Seasons for an extra 50.00 a night
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a very long time. The hotel was very poorly represented about who they are as a brand, quality of hotel, and by far not valued at 4 or 5 stars as they claim to be. Our first room was a deluxe with tower view. The carpet had tears in it, we had a leaky faucet, and later that evening we discovered the air conditioning didn't work. After many discussions with the front desk their solution was to move us to a twin bed room and put a fan in the room to cool it down. While moving our bags at 11;30 PM the bellman told us this happens quite often and they don't have maintenance on staff anymore. Having worked in hospitality and hotels all my career this is a clear sign to me that the hotel doesn't value their service levels. When having a hotel of over 700 rooms without maintenance on staff you're going to consistently have unhappy customers with service failures. I urge them to put this job back on payroll as it will help your service records considerably. After 3 phone calls the manager on duty Marga was helpful and compd breakfast and upgraded us to a suite the next night. These are all nice but it seemed like we were having to explain to them they needed to do something rather than them being apologetic about the horrible situation of our room and the huge inconvencice.
The rooms are very quiet for a london hotel, both times I have stayed here I have had a room looking over St Katherine's Dock with very little traffic noise
Location excellent
just smelly drains in bathroom
The view from the room was fabulous, room was comfortable but outdated and shabby.
No tea coffee facilities in rooms, had to stay in older smoking room which still smells of stale smoke but great view from 7th floor .rooms need updating.could be a fantastic place in its position with serious update.
Nothing in particular, all very average.
Arrived at hotel approximately 12 noon. Were told room not ready until 2 pm but we could upgrade for £50 to a room that was ready, as we had an appointment in Knightsbridge at 1.30 we decided to accept the offer. Whilst checking out heard two other people being offered the £50 upgrade. We had booked and paid for a de luxe room we were "upgraded" to a de luxe room which supposedly had a larger bed and a river view. Sounds like a scam.
friendly place and close to the places I was planning to visit this time. We had an excellent meal at a great price in your restaurant.
The heat in the bar. I asked for it to be turned down but the staff couldn't
The view, friendly service
Location
Rooms dated; check in not efficient - had to go through the check-in twice, on arrival at front desk [11:30 am] then on actual assignment of a room {13:30]. Rooms fair but tired and dated decor, wood frame windows need replacing, latches failed to keep them open for fresh air; - not up to standard of Guoman Cumberland Marble Arch by a long shot - which was what was expected and 'advised'
The room was clean and comfortable with good views overlooking the Thames
nothing
rooms were shabby and dirty
view from hotel room
