9.2 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation with ample space, well appointed, with a great deck to lounge on. Comfortable beds and great water pressure in the showers. Lovely common spaces and garden/pool/ocean. Good selection of lunch and dinner food options.
Cons: The breakfast needs more choices, and there should be an option of ordering proper coffees, such as Espresso, Cappuccino etc. The filter coffee offered was undrinkable. No Internet. The hotel should make an effort to offer WiFi to guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very relaxed and chilled place to spend a few days. Great place to tour Samoa from. Staff were all very helpful. Thanks for having me stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are beautiful and the outdoor showers a treat, with hot water. The resort is very relaxed and lots to do. Very friendly staff.
Cons: The road to the resort is not great. Super bumpy and have to drive very slowly. Defo recommend an SUV. Food and drink a little pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were phenomenal in making sure our stay was comfortable. The facilities were immaculately clean and well kept. Beds were super comfy and I loved how many pillows we had. The towels were big a lot better than the small towels you get at other hotels. The outdoor showers was such a treat, and so spacious. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was absolutely beautiful. I will diffinitely recommend Sa'moana and will be returning with my husband in the future. It's a place where you disconnect from technology to reconnect with loved ones.
Cons: The road access to the Bungalows. Quite bumpy and difficult to manouver our car around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In a remote part of Samoa not overpopulated with tourists with amazing views.
Cons: The road there isn’t for the faint hearted but worth it when you get there. We had a van which was awesome for us but better to get a four wheel drive to get there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!! Beautiful location. The full resort was perfectly clean. All the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They put such attention to detail! Simply beautiful. Such a fantastic place to stay
9.0 Excellent
Pros: By far the best decision I made on my trip was to book this place. Everything exceeded my expectations and I couldn't recommend it enough. The accommodation , facilities, location are just amazing I don't know where to start just lock it in to your trip. Make sure you visit the Survivor beach - instructions on how to get there in the Guest book in your room.
Cons: The food and drinks were probably the most expensive I encountered the whole week in Samoa - 30WST a cocktail. Even more than what I paid at a 4star resort. Maybe it's justified by the remoteness but alot of places you visit in Samoa are off the beaten track.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms. In centre of town. Kitchen facilities. The staff working here really take very good care of this tiny inn.
Cons: Single rooms have private bathroom outside of the room which is not clearly stated in the booking info.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: While the B&B doesn't look much from the outside the warmth of welcome and friendliness was great. The whole facility was spotlessly clean and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. An ideal place to explore Apia and surrounding area.
Cons: The loud music from across the road on one night.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, fresh food amazing place to stay? Wouldn’t stay anywhere else
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super friendly, went above and beyond esp. for any needs of mine. Food was AMAZING! Checking-in was a breeze, although everything was explained to me on paper, our lovely check-in agent still had the time to go through it with me. Every night there’s a theme for dinner which I though was nice. What I also found was each morning there’s a 1 page newsletter explaining activities that are on for that day, specials of the month & even programme for the kids.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice
Cons: For the cost it was expected you’d get more value out of it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: No microwave
7.0 Good
Pros: It has a lovely pool and the rooms are new and very clean and modern.
Cons: We had to repeat order for drinks and food as things didn't make it to us, some of our food arrived cold, some of the breakfast buffet foods were cold like the baked beans, overall the food and drinks let the otherwise very good hotel down.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful, location and view was amazing. They provide complimentary use of their kayak & snorkelling equipment as well as daily transfers to & from Apia which was absolutely great & saved us the need to hire a car. Wifi was fast & we had no issues once connected. The Taumeasina have daily events & plenty of things to keep guests busy, however a little tweaking can go a long way. We will be back definitely.
Cons: Breakfast was good, though I did expect a little more variety. The floor staff could have been more approachable as many would not greet you as you pass them, a simple smile & Talofa goes a long way. Check in was unorganised even though I had informed them of our arrival time and it took 45 minutes to get there, our room wasn’t ready & we had to wait at least 30 minutes for our room. After a long day of travel, the last thing we needed was to wait some more. We didn’t receive a welcome letter or wifi information until we called reception later that night who informed us what we should have received during check in.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing hotel! Food is extra ordinary and hotel komplex is very well maintained. nice shuttle bus to apia 3 times a day for free! activities every day as well as absolutely relaxing. The staff helped us with everything and even prepared us lunch+breakfastboxes. Thumbs up for this hotel!
Cons: nothing to complain at all!
7.5 Good
Pros: Property Clean
Cons: Ordered room service and it would either arrive late and cold or not turn up at all! Operators are very unprofessional and not very helpful. Property is well maintained if only the workers were abit more professional
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice room with a view. Staff are friendly
Cons: There was a smell outside the rooms that didn’t go away

5.4 Okay
Pros: I thought the bathroom was a great addition being set outside, it added abit of Balinese into the room, the room was always clean when advised to clean and the staff were friendly.
Cons: I didn’t like that there was a quarter bottle of shampoo and 1 already used soap, I brought my own but for families who are in a rush and didn’t have time to purchase toiletries that’s an added cost. For the price we paid for the length of stay the breakfast was comical, continental breakfast with 1-2 options merely isn’t breakfast. I also was annoyed that everytime I would drive in to park there were cars there that belonged to people who didn’t even book to stay there but were there for either a 21st or for drinks and I knew this because the staff advised me as I was annoyed I had to inconveniently park outside the gates which was locked and then had to carry my son and both bags around to the front and to my room, this happened on 3 occasions which I felt quite annoyed and irritated about. The show was disappointing, same show and moves from 2 years ago I attended with my family, maybe time for change of songs and actions? It’s always good to implement change, because tho it was empty, the person who runs the place could have spared 2 seconds to welcome her guests as we walked past her 7 times with no hello how are you welcome to Le Manumea, word of mouth is always the best way to market any accomodation, as a matter of fact I have had a lot of people on social media ask how our stay at Le Manumea was as oppose to other hotels we stayed at and unfortunately my review was blunt but honest. If the breakfast matched the price we paid along with a few mishaps that occurred I would not have checked out with my family and checked into another hotel. Constructive criticism, I hope this review is considered positive in your eyes rather than negative.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great accommodation, great customer service and also comfortable beds.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful natural rooms, with outdoor bath area. Lots of care have been given to room. 24 hour security and friendly staff. Quite, out of town, but only 5 minutes to be back in the heart of town. Great breakfast menu.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The island style rooms, and outdoor bathroom, also loved the Fia Fia night. Happy Hour and food and service from staff was awesome.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location away from town and comfortable bed big space in the room
Cons: Chairs in the room and breakfast should have change each morning extras too dear $5.00 tala for 1 sausage $5.00 for ice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For helping me with accommodating my parents on their lastnight in Samoa. My parents absolutely loved it!
7.5 Good
Pros: Island night on Thursday was worth the money! Staff were friendly and nice.
Cons: Thought breakfast could've been better. Looks better in the photos.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to town and had good beds, microwave, table chairs and desk in the executive suite. Loved the outdoor shower and convenient toilet outdoor but all secure and safe.

5.4 Okay
Pros: The location, settings and gardens were beautiful and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The private beach was nice to walk along and when it was high tide lovely to swim in.
Cons: We stayed in a garden bungalow and unfortunately the outdoor shower and opened bathroom were below standard, despite using insect spray and repellent my wife was covered in mosquito bites every time she used the bathroom. The shower floor was always covered with leaf litter and never cleaned. The shower water pressure was poor and made it hard to wash yourself. The food and alcohol service was very slow and sadly my wife and I both ended up with upset stomachs and we spoke with a number of guests who had also been unwell. The property is advertising as adults only no kids under 12, but during our stay there we a number of kids under 12 staying and taking over the pool playing games as (Marco polo) We spoke to management and they said sometimes they slip through.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Breakfast is bad Rooms are old style and not very comfortable. They will charge you double the price you have booked on booking.com Pay attention to the payment and ask for a detailed bill and don't give them your credit cards .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Sinalei's location cannot be beat. They have a gorgeous, quiet beach - amazing clear blue water perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and water activities. They are an hours drive from the airport, 30min from Apia, and about 45-50min from the To Sua trench & many other attractions. We hired a scooter one day, and a car another. It was brilliant! Their staff is the best. So accommodating, friendly, and kind. Nothing is too much and everyone is very laid back. Gorgeous people all around! Their facilities are fantastic. The rooms are top notch - the beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable, well kept furnishings, and air conditioned. We very much enjoyed the pool, bar, restaurant, tennis court, beachfront area and snorkel hire! The food was fantastic! Most of our meals were absolutely delicious, with few exceptions. After 5 nights we felt ready to branch out a bit, but then they had a BBQ night and I'm so glad we stayed because I was blown away by the flavor of the bbq'd tuna! So yum! The drinks were normal samoa prices - not cheap - but that was to be expected, and on par with the rest of the country. They were delicious too! Must try all the coconut cocktails, especially the mojito! Thank you so much sinalei for a memorable and rejuvenating stay!!
Cons: There is no longer a gym, which was disappointing, but if you're hard up for weights then apia is not far away. Otherwise we went for swimming and running. My husband and I both got massages... His was ok and to be honest mine was pretty bad. (I do not think this is indicative of the spa - just perhaps the masseuse. Just be clear about what you want.) There are plenty of other spa services I did not try.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very quiet and relaxing, no kids feels like your on the resort in your own
Cons: Amazing staff, go out of their way to help you, just food options are not great only big let down, also the fale huts need some rennovations, insects get inside the shower but few minor rennovations and this place will be up there.
7.0 Good
Pros: The design and setting of the resort itself is spectacular. The beaches are outstanding and you can snorkel off the shore. The pool is fab with a great view and close enough to the bar. Loved the bathroom - I had an outdoor one. The bed itself is comfy and the decor is cute. The cookies served with afternoon tea was amazing. Overall I had a good experience but I expected more for what you pay.
Cons: Sauna & Hot Tub Facilities are not included, you have to pay extra - they were empty the entire time I stayed. Its unusual such amenities are charged for, especially in a 4star hotel. I heard after I checked in that a 15 minute massage is offered as part of your stay - I didn't get one so make sure you ask. The room was nice but the "wardrobe" (there was none, just a hanging rack) area needs improving. No light and in the corner of the room so I couldn't see what I was doing. The pillows were also too big. Robes & Slippers also would have been nice. The foot of the bed faces out on to the garden (I had a garden view room) - amazing but not particularly private with staff often walking across the grass in front of the room (hence why robes would be nice!!) The staff are so lovely but they seem understaffed. The level of service wasn't what I would consider 4 star. Nothing to do with the staff themselves because they were great but if you wanted/needed something you always had to go looking for someone. They should have towels down at the pool area as well as pool side service. Breakfast was really average - cereals, fruit, eggs....standard stuff you would get in any motel not up to the standard I expected for what I paid for the accomodation.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the reastaurant on the beach, the beatiful location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful little slice of paradise- quiet with friendly staff. No complaints

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the whole hotel atmosphere, a mix of traditional and modern Samoa. The Bugalow Suite was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Customer service is amazing, I really enjoyed my stay, definitely will stay again.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Bathroom was good and the kids enjoyed the pool.
Cons: The room was ok but one bed was not enough for 4 people.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff and view from room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort style accommodation, amazing pool and very friendly staff. Very close to town and walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. A good resort overall, with some minor attention in some areas we’d certainly be happy to stay again.
Cons: Honestly, the only real let down were the lunch and dinners; they were terrible, specifically, food was not well prepared/basic for the price and mostly took too long. We’ve stayed at a few other places in Samoa and the food has been outstanding so it is possible here. The buffet breakfast was great, what you’d expect, but the lunch and dinners were not even close. We are very well travelled and know what to expect in a place like Samoa, but the food was really sub parr. We were here over the New Year’s public holidays so had limited other options (none). The staff were wonderful and very friendly but the manager needs to have a look at the systems and processes as wait times were at times a bit too long i.e. we waited 40 minutes to get our dinner which was fine as it was semi-busy, but then waited the same time for two bowls of ice cream when it was not busy at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Clean.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so helpful & friendly. Really enjoyed the breakfast menu, and my husband loved your comforter queen bed:)Love the location as well, closed to town, very handy with my two teenagers, they didn't want to hang out with mum and dad all day.
Cons: The mini fridge inside our room wasn't working, and for health and safety, the outside walkway to and from the swimming pools, not safe when its wet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is super convenient. The pools were my absolute favourite! Thoroughly enjoyed the onsite restaurants, cafe and not to mention the buffet breakfast was splendid!! Big ups to the incredibly friendly Staff and their immaculate service- Always greeting you with a smile. Huge Thank You to all the Team. We could not fault. After almost 3 weeks of staying here, definitely worth every cent! The only place we will stay when we visit Samoa again. This place will not disappoint!!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: A really nice location, just 20 minutes walk away from Apia city center and a little grocery store just across the road. I choose to stay in a fale, and it was a really authentic experience laying on a madraza with a blanket and a mosquito net. I really enjoyed my nights there. Be aware that you should always but on mosquito repellent as soon as you get out of your mosquito net in the morning. Small but clean bathrooms and both hot and cold water in the shared shower. The staff is lovely, and so extremely helpful and friendly. If you have any questions or request, you can always talk with the staff; they will most likely figure everything out for you. I enjoyed my stay, and would love to go back there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house and its historic building and features. Very clean pool and gets cleaned daily. Rooms get cleaned daily and staff are very friendly. Breakfast is always fresh and delicious. Location is close to town and hospital.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet and handy to lots of things. Staff are brilliant, very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Really need to get better pillows (we slept on cushions in the end) and fix sliding doors, can’t open properly (not safe). Air Conditioner and fridge needs maintenance - really noisy!! A bit of maintenance needed throughout but overall clean and comfortable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were great.
Cons: Nothing.
7.9 Good
Pros: The girls there were really nice and friendly
Cons: It is a old property and needs a bit of maintenance
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in one of the fales. It was comfy and had a light as well as two power plugs to charge your devices. The yard was well-maintained. The decent-sized pool was really nice during the hot days, and it had also a deep end of ~2metres. The breakfast was the best one i ate in Samoa: white bread and jam/butter, juice, coffee and tea; when you sat down to one table, they would bring you fruits cut just for you as well as pancakes and eggs (either scrambled, fried or boiled, variated daily) they would make quickly after your arrival to the dining area. The location of Outrigger was superb and the closes tiny market was just across the street. The staff was really nice and was genuinely interested about the well-being of their customers. They also gave good deals for trips around the island: e.g. I had a taxi driver to drive me around for six hours and paid only 200t (70-80€).
Cons: It could get noisy during days and nights, since there was a gym nearby and some locals lived just outside the hotel area, and sometimes they would play music really loud. The internet was not free; I'd recommend bying a cheap travel SIM card upon arrival (I bough one with 25t and had 5GB data, 500mins and 50sms for 7 days).

4.0 Okay
Pros: central Apia location - we could walk to supermarket and markets.
Cons: lacking cleankiness. the bottom sheets of our bedding looked dirty with stains as well as hair and dirt crumbs. there is a lot of rubbish on the neighbouring properties which attracts pests. we killed 5 giant cockroaches on the first night. the rooms are not serviced properly. after being out for the day, I returned at about 9pm to find my room just as I had left it. they were quick to offer to have the room cleaned immediately, however someone needs to teach the housekeeping staff how to do the job right. I had to pull off the bottom sheet myself to make sure it was changed. needs regular maintenance and room checks. the tap was broken. no tv remote despite asking 3 times about getting a remote. stayed 3 nights with no tv. the electric jug not working. only 1 coffee cup and no drinking glasses in a room with kitchenette.
7.9 Good
Pros: Handy location, they also had a car rental on site.
Cons: Prior to arriving requested a ground level room, they had responded with noted. On arrival we were given an upstairs room. They did change our room the next day.
1.0 Poor
Pros: nothing
Cons: Cockroaches everywhere, terribly smelling AC as dead rat was rotting inside, an iron which gave me a big electric shock while ironing my clothes. One big joke for 180 tala.

Overview Reviews
Located in Apia, Apia Central Hotel is within a 10-minute drive of National Parliament and Apia Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Considering where we were this is one the better hotels available. Decent sized room and bathroom with comfortable bed. Pretty center courtyard with small pool. Staff was friendly and accommodating
Cons: It seems that some of the workers live in adjacent quarters and were very loud late in the evening until heavy rains forced them inside. The shower stall was old with signs of mold and was not provided soap or shampoo. Our ground floor unit had a front door and a rear door that opened to a service type area and did not have double lock.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful considering the location
Cons: Could have better secured parking options.
6.7 Good
Pros: This is a neat and clean place in a handy location in Apia. The rooms are large and pleasant with everything you need.
Cons: However, we had a terrible night's sleep here because the night staff were so rowdy, and all the rooms open out onto a communal area. We think the staff invited some of their friends around. They played very loud music and talked and shouted well into the early hours of the morning. Twice we went out to ask them to keep it down, which had little effect. The noise dropped for about 10 mins then would pick up again. This experience was enough to make us not want to return to this hotel in future.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Bistro Tatau was excellent.
Cons: My comment about the lighting is that it would be excellent if there was a light above the head of the bed that could be turned off from beside the bed so you could read in bed and turn the light off without getting out of bed. Also, somewhere to put you bag so it did not have to be left on the floor!
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean, quiet & cheap
Cons: Too many rules. We were there to have fun with my family but when we were in the pool we kept getting told off about being too loud & we couldn’t enjoy ourselves much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the location and the rooms faces each other. So peaceful and the staff
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location is perfect.
Cons: it can be very loud at night. The people, who run the hotel, and their children sit in the courtyard near the rooms and talk and laugh until 1am. I complained twice without success and eventually took a sleeping pill. The rooms are very small by the way. WiFi price is a joke.

Pros: Location was ok
Cons: Could barely walk in the room. Pillows were lumpy and sheets were filthy. Honestly not worth the money i paid for the 2 nights and was very disappointed with the place. Breakfast was also not great but that was not an issue.

7.1 Good
Pros: Pool looked nice
Cons: Advertised free WiFi on the booking page yet arrived to find out you still have to pay for it. //The rooms pictured on the website far exceed the actual reality of the crummy little room we received. It is nothing like the pictures // There is a bar downstairs which becomes busy on weekends so don't expect to get to sleep too early if you have to. Even though it was closed by 11pm we were kept awake by what was probably friends of the hotel staff keeping there own little party going on well past midnight with music on their portable speaker. // There was no milk for the tea /coffee. // Overall the price was what I would expect to pay at a 3-4 hotel yet what we got was a cheap motel experience
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Good standard of room. Pool was nice.
Cons: They charged an “early check in fee” despite the room being available anyway.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Service and the dinner menu was awesome. Pool was okay and the room was okay.
Cons: The aircon in room needs to be changed so I access more of the room. And pool tiles need to be better in big pool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent
Cons: Nothing
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was helpful
Cons: The staff weren’t helpful. They took selfies on the job disregarding the guests sitting there wanting to be served. The first night we stayed we came back and all the car parks for guests were taken by locals and when we asked the staff if one of these cars who aren’t guests could move the said to park behind them and when the rugby is finished they’ll wake us up to move them! Poor service especially being woken at 5am to move a car for a person that wasn’t a guest. Reading other reviews about the bar/locals being really loud is %100 accurate. After complaining about the noise because the whole bar downstairs was packed nothing was done about it. It was cheaper for me to stay at TAUMEASINA for one night under local rates than the 2 nights there. Horrible place .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay here. Staff very friendly ,
Cons: Maybe more playground activities for the kids. And shade over the pool during the day .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. A good selection of food for breakfast. Close to town. Traditional dancing in Wednesday’s.
Cons: Nothing
