Pros: The views were great despite it being cold and grey outside. The restaurant was beautiful. Though we only had drinks at the bar, I would have eaten there if we had more time. It was refreshing to stay in a hotel that has a great window with beautiful street views and lots of light. The rooms were just right for two of us. I really liked the couch on the end of the bed as a nice touch for hanging out at the end of the evening.

Pros: This hotel has a great location and friendly staff. It has a nice, old-fashioned feel which gives it a romantic quality for the price. The decor and furniture are attractive and classic, albeit a bit shabby when examined closely. We were particularly impressed with the bathroom in our corner room, which was filled with marble tiles and a towel warmer. Everything was clean and pleasant. The bar/restaurant attached is a nice place for cocktails as well, especially as a warm-up for a night out in the wonderful area of Mt. Vernon. This neighborhood is desirable for those from out of town, and this hotel provided good prices and an overall pleasant stay.

Pros: Due to an error in receiving my reservation information from a third party booking agency, the were no available rooms of the type I had reserved. So, the hotel was forced to give me a nicer room at the same rate. The room was a bit dated, but the jetted tub and sitting area were very nice. While the front desk staff and valet seemed to lack professionalism, the staff at the hotel bar were quite welcoming and friendly.

Pros: We arrived in Baltimore at Noon on a weekday and booked online while sitting in the car just down the block. I then called the Inn to get advice on parking and check-in time. Though check-in time was normally 3pm, they informed me that they had a room ready and that they could accommodate us immediately. Valet parking was offered - and though not included in the room rate, was very convenient and not too expensive. You can't beat booking a room on your phone and then walking into it 10 minutes later.
Every single member of the staff we encountered was super-friendly and very accommodating. Though we did not need anything special during our stay, it truly seemed like the sort of place where they would go out of their way - and be genuinely happy to do so.
The charm of the Inn - which includes a variety of very differently-appointed rooms - was only surpassed by the location. If you intend to hang out in the Fell's Point area, I can't imagine a better place to stay. We found it to be a comfortable walking distance to all of the Inner Harbor attractions as well.
We did not stay over a weekend night, so I really cannot attest to how the noise from nearby bars might affect the Inn when things (like live music) are going later on those nights, but we definitely enjoyed the proximity enough that I would put up with some of that even if it did filter into the rooms.
It was not inexpensive, but fairly priced. Will definitely stay there again on future trips.

Pros: Baltimore had 30+ inches of snow the weekend that I spent at the Admiral Fell Inn, and the hotel was fully booked. The staff was fabulous ensuring that the guests had everything that was needed. In addition, the location of the Inn at Fells Point couldn't have been better - lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. When the airport re-opened and I was able to get a flight home, the Admiral Fell had cab drivers on call with experience driving in snow to get me to the airport. What could have been a really horrible weekend ended up being a lot of fun. I will definitely stay at the Admiral Fell Inn on future visits to Baltimore.

Pros: Stayed in a huge king bed room. Lots of empty space that could have been filled with a couch and coffee table with the TV in front of it. But they chose to place the TV to the right side of the bed making it awkward to watch. With this tiny one person mini couch directly under the TV. ..What the point of that? The front desk staff need a little more training. And a button or something indicating that they work there. They're all in regards clothes. A guy looking to check in thought I worked there when I went down to see what was the hold up on the extra towels I called down for 2 hours prior.

Pros: I couldn't have asked for more from the Red Lion. Gorgeous rooms, wood floors (a HUGE plus for me because of my allergies), a shockingly short walk to the Charm City Circulator's Purple line, wonderful and warm staff who go beyond the call of duty, and all for a very low last minute price!! I am also very picky about hotel beds as I have a bad back but this bed was everything I wanted. Not to mention all of the communal amenities I simply did not have a chance to check out because my trip was short! There is, apparently, a 24 hour gym and the lobby seems to be a wonderful place to relax, socialize, and create a sense of a hotel community. The Red Lion seems equiped to foster vacation friendships one would expect of an extended resort stay on an island somewhere, despite the fact that it is located in the heart of Baltimore. If anyone I know ever needs a hotel in Baltimore, I will insist they stay at the Red Lion.
Excellent
10.0
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The layout and design of their "lobby" was very modern with an industrial twist to the decor. They don't have the typical imposing front desk. Instead staff meets you at the door with a tablet and checks you in. The elevators are extra secure with room key only access. There is valet parking which is extra, but well worth it as we would have spent the same or thereabouts at a parking garage. Our room was amazing and nicely decorated. Excellent bed, excellent shower, but next time we will bring a cooler.
Our room had a great view and was very close to the venue at Rams Head Live where we were headed. The next day there was a great band playing in the lobby so we stayed longer for that too.
Most of all their staff was incredible!!! They were always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to do anything for you. That includes the maid in the elevator who gave us the history of the building and the head engineer who was helping out in their great bar/restaurant when they were way overloaded with people. Great experience from beginning to end. We can't wait to come back.

Pros: Great price for the location and on a weekend too!!
Hotel Monaco puts travelers on the fast track to a beautiful Baltimore adventure. Our grand, 202-room boutique hotel, located in the historic B&O Railroad Headquarters near the Inner Harbor, mingles its storied past with a vibrant present. From the second you enter our 1906 Beaux-Arts building, you'll be dazzled by fine details like soaring marble staircases, crystal chandeliers, and Tiffany stained glass windows. Yet pops of whimsy and Kimpton personality define welcoming spaces, too — from luxurious guestrooms to local hot spot B&O American Brasserie.

Pros: Very helpful staff, great, clean and cozy room. We appreciated the rollaway, which was really far beyond the cot-like thing we had sort of expected (we added another person to the room after making the reservation, so knew it would be tight). We really appreciated the help with that and with extra toothpaste/brush. Thankful that quality is always high across any Kimpton hotels I've stayed at.

Pros: Staff was fantastic for all that my group put them through (we needed several extra blankets and towels, realizing this in two trips). Room was quiet, but only suitable for one adult. Staff was also kind enough to call a cab for us when we were running late so the cab could meet us when we got to the lobby; this ended up making all the difference in the world.
