9.2 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful property (it was so cool staying at a winery!), quiet location far enough away from the touristy town of Bernkastel, but close enough to quickly get to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, picturesque and quite location just a minutes away from town. Breakfast on the terrace by Mosel river makes your day! Family Prüm, hosts and owners, made our stay just super and tasting of elegant Prüm wines with Raimund was unforgettable, one of the best we ever had.
7.5 Good
Pros: The view of the Mosel from the front porch of the old building where breakfast is served.
Cons: The hotel rooms are not in the lovely old building that faces the Mosel. Instead, they are in a more modern, separate, structure that is behind the main building. Our room's view of the river was blocked by an overgrown bush and tree. The staff, while polite, never made you feel like they were glad to have you as a guest. They went home at 5:30 pm and if they were there in the morning in the office adjacent to the rooms, they kept their backs to you most of the time. I wouldn't stay there again though I think their location is marvelous though miles from Bernkastel itself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Being at a quiet individual winery. Having the chance to meet the owner, and or the wine maker.
Cons: It is quiet and you are at an individual winery. If that is not what you want, if you want to be in a village. This is not for you
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just a wonderful place with the nicest staff and beautiful soroundings. And our dog was just as welcome as we were.
Cons: There was no real air condition, and with 40 degrees C outside you need an AC.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room. We liked walking along the river. Lots of great wineries for tastings!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff. Lots of care taken to meet high level of comfort. Excellent room, lots of space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, just what we needed for our break.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay at the winery. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We found all staff members friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wine tasting with Saskia as well as meeting her father, Raimund. We were able to rent bicycles in town very affordably which added to our trip. You will need to drive or cycle (only a few kilometers) to a neighboring town for dinner as there are very few choices near the winery. All in all, a great place to relax!
6.7 Good
Pros: Extremely spacious, well appointed, comfortable rooms.
Cons: Breakfast could have had both greater variety and quantities.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was great. Being almost of the river with picturesque villages surrounding it
Cons: The owner was not very friendly and breakdowns in service (TV and Internet) were not attended to before we left.
7.0 Good
Pros: spacious, bright room, with Danish influence in design; lovely location along the Mosel river; breakfast was ok, although it could use more variety; very efficient staff; good starting point to visit around (Burg Thurant was a charming and less touristic experience).
Cons: pillows; internet access
6.0 Good
Pros: Charming little property with large rooms. Nice breakfast spread. No kettle in room but provided on request. Would stay here again if returning to area.
Cons: Internet access, and a self-serve laundry would be nice. No air-conditioning, so may not be appropriate in summer (was fine for October though).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, the location of the hotel, and the guest services
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - the quality of the fittings, the huge bed, the bathroom, the size of the room, the warmth etc etc. And the breakfast was excellent too.
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: peaceful and very beautiful location, wonderful, big rooms
Cons: no
7.2 Good
Pros: The Manager was very friendly and cheerful. The surroundings are stunning as is the building.
Cons: Could do with a few signposts around the place directing us where to go - we went to a few places before finally finding Reception via the back door. Although we had been told where to go for breakfast, again, we had to ask how to access it. Just a few clear signposts would have helped. Other than that, couldn't fault it and would highly recommend it and come back again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: very large and comfortaable room
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for a trip up the Mosel valley and the hotel was excellent. Just wish we had more time on the trip to linger.
Cons:

Overview Reviews
Located in Bernkastel-Kues, Hotel Doctor Weinstube is in the historical district, within a 15-minute walk of Landshut Castle and Winery Dr. Loosen. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It was close to the water and staff was friendly.
Cons: Rooms were too small for the amount of money we paid. No real air flow and on a noisy side street
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Characterful building great location
Cons: Breakfast was poor
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in old town! Loved the historic architecture!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. They ensured we had all of the information needed. The restaurant was also excellent for dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable with enough room and we slept well on the bed. The pillows were big and soft. The bathroom was also spacious. We were pleased to see a renovated room with modern style and furniture.
Cons: The only thing we did not like was the lack of air conditioning. However, it wasn't really needed with the cooler temperatures. Also, keep in mind that air conditioning is not common in Germany and especially in this region and in this type of hotel. In no way did it make the experience less enjoyable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in the great location and even with elevator. We parked by the river, hotel was 5 mins walk from there, so parking was not an issue. Breakfast was OK, we did not have a chance to try dinner.
Cons: The biggest inconvenience - Wi-Fi did not work in the room. I usually have to work in the evenings, so I had to come down to be able to connect to the Internet.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant despite traditional appearance. Great Menu. Very friendly restaurant service. Historical venue with super modern and clean rooms. Great breakfast glutenfree.
Cons: The reception was friendly yet distant. A more comprehensive welcome including the most important things like parking options, sauna, restaurant offerings, etc. would be more efficient then asking for each bit of information individually.

Pros: Here is a great star hotel with cozy single rooms and nice restaurant. The breakfast was good enough, and the dinner was excellent with carefully chosen house wines. The location of this hotel is one of the best in Bernkastel-Kues for the tourists with big luggages, 3 minutes walk to the bus stop "Kues Forum", the terminal of the bus lines from Wittlich railway station.
Cons: There was no air conditioner in the room. It was relatively hot, because the temperature in the summer season became over than 30 degrees. However, I could sleep well with nice wind from the window.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was a lovely hotel, the rooms have been refurbished and are quite modern. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We also ate at the hotel restaurant one night and the food was good, typical german dishes. The wine they served was good and location was also great, it a short walk over the river to get to the old town.
Cons: Checkin closed early so we managed to arrive late but they were very helpful. A slightly later checkin time would be nice but understand that this probably wouldnt be possible.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy booking in and out, friendly staff, large spacious room, good variety for breakfast, free parking. Location just across from busy town.
Cons: Nothing.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, nice room and bathroom. Superb breakfast with nice cheese and meats. Importantly private parking there as everything is within walking distance
Cons: Nothing It’s not a complaint but a slight warning. The restaurant is separate from the hotel but we didn’t realise that, so after the meal we went for a walk thinking it went on the room. They were really nice about it though when I paid. Having said that the meal was one of the nicest we had on holiday
10.0 Excellent

The Gästehaus am Schloßberg provides an ideal, cosy base for visitors to Bernkastel-Kues and the Moselle valley.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located guesthouse, just north of the cute old town of Bernkastel, and on a quiet street. Would happily recommend this place.
Cons: Getting the car in and out of the guesthouse's car park up the road is not for the faint-hearted struggling with their hire car. Plenty of restaurants to walk to, including the guesthouse's own.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice clean room with a lovely view of the street
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room
Cons: No elevator for third flour
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This accommodation delighted us. We selected it because a previous review had mentioned bike storage. The instructions for the key and our room were exact. Bikes stored in an amazing cave and our 'room' was actually 3: large bedroom, lounge and excellent shower room. All were spotless and modern. Our rooms were at the back of the building and therefore against the hill behind. There was no view but a tiny outside seating area which was almost part of the rock. The location in the old town was very convenient and quiet. Breakfast selection was comprehensive. Would definitely return and recommend.
Cons: No dislikes
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, beautiful rooms, better than expected. The communication about the check-in process was easy to follow. Happy to have parking even though it wasn't perfect. Great location in this charming village. Would stay again!
Cons: If you can't walk stairs, it won't be for you, though it wasn't a problem for us. The parking was a tight fit, but it worked. We didn't need the car during our stay so we just needed to get in and out once, I can imagine doing it multiple times would be a headache.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Would stay again!
Cons: We loved the accommodation and location. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the breakfast was great!. Absolutely fantastic value, highly recommended!
7.5 Good
Pros: The owner/manager was amazing. She met us outside and helped us to our room close to the front desk closing..she went above and beyond for us.
Cons: The front desk was "closed" when we wanted to check out. We didn't have ANY information on how to pay our bill. The maid was incredibly rude and we were treated pretty oddly when we tried to check out.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect for our 4 nights there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great pension. Cleanest room I have find in my travel trough the Mosel. Best mattress and best coffee... and a delicoius breakfast with hausmade mermelade. They are really nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything about my stay. I prefer staying at guest houses where I can meet and talk to those running them. It was really good at Moselblümchen - there was a lively sense of humour, the breakfasts were great and the home made jams were brilliant.
Cons: I liked everything and the whole experience was very enjoyable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The personal is friendly, helpful, funny and seems like they do like what they do here. The room (8) is not the most fashionable one, but it’s all along clean and functional. The bed is comfy and the breakfast is very well and unsurprisingly not vegan-friendly. The location is perfect for any trekking or biking plan.
Cons: No double bed. No fresh fruit on breakfast. And coffee is too much roasted, definitely not the best quality.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was Amazing. We visited off-season, I would love to return in the spring time as the facilities are in a great location, near the Moselle River. Lovely wine themed room decorations from a local artist who we met at the Christmas market
Cons: I was happy with the hotel and location and breakfast staff was lovely everything was fantastic
8.8 Excellent
Pros: First impression: the hotel and rooms seemed a bit tired, but once settled we appreciated the size of the room, the modern touches, cute twists in the decor (wine theme) and the coziness of the place. But the big game changer was the most amazing breakfast we have ever had! (my husband is a huge brekki fan, and we do travel a bit). Words will not explain! Good fresh local products, generous amounts of everything, even eggs made for you on spot! make your own waffle! We ate until we couldnt take another bite! We will be back!!

Pros: Outstanding experience !!!
Cons: Everything was exceptional
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is fantastic! Room, dinner, breakfast --- all exceptional!
Cons: There is nothing that I did not like.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Dinner is very good and breafast excellent. Remember to tase their wines.
Cons: ---
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wine list, by glass and by bottle. Breakfast, Dinner
Cons: High stairs, especially not in the main building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed everything, excellent food, very nice atmosphere and really friendly staff, for questions available all time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We (family with 1 kid and 1 baby) wanted to relax and booked for a long weekend (2 nights) at the Hotel Zeltinger-Hof - Gasthaus des Rieslings. Everything was just superior: the apartment, the breakfast, the staff, the restaurant, the rural location. The hotel is a few minutes away by car from the nearby city Bernkastel-Kues, a very characteristic village in the Mosel wine region. We highly recommend Hotel Zeltinger-Hof - Gasthaus des Rieslings!
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning that we didn't like. Actually everything was above our expectations as described in the section above. Perhaps the rain was the only negative factor! :-)

7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was adequate.
Cons: Facilities in the Winzer Haus are not to the same standard as the main hotel. Cleaning of our room was extremely late in the day. The standard of the towels could be improved. Most couples booking a double room would like a chair for two and not just one where the second person has to use the bed to relax or read.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice room.. nice location... nice country
Cons: Nothing significant
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, and great breakfast
Cons: No elevator but we could leave the pram at the ground floor
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location with great staff.
Cons: The river walking area was cluttered with an amusement park.
7.9 Good
Pros: Hotel modern and clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant very good. Bed very good. Room light and spacious.
Cons: steep steps to 2nd floor. Shower unit very small. Nothing in direct neighbourhood. Walk into town via hill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, comfortable, great parking, great food all the things you need from a good hotel. 5 minutes walk from the river and 7 minutes from the restaurants and shops over the bridge. If you don't want to walk, the Hotel Restaurant was very very good.
Cons: Pillows was too soft, but hey that's Germany and very much a personal thing that will not stop us going back. The wine selection is awesome but if like me you like a good Whisky then no choices available.

Pros: A great location to stay at when in Zeltingen. The room was nice and cool even though this was in the middle of the European heatwave of the summer of 2019 (it was 30-35 degrees celcius outside and it had been like that for weeks). Next door is the legendary Zeltinger Hof restaurant with its 150 different wines per glass and almost 100-page wine list (most of which is local German riesling, yay!).

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked the deluxe suite and it was well worth the few extra dollars to have a huge bathroom, large bath (possibly with spa, but we didn't use it if there was). The shower was great with 3 streams of water available from above, shooting out from the wall and the traditional hand held. The main room was sufficiently large, comfortable and well appointed.
Cons: No negatives to speak of. In view of the rain and me being a smoker there were plenty of places sufficiently close to light up occasionally ... but I did have to vacate the premises to indulge. Possibly my problem and not the hotels ???
6.7 Good
Pros: Location location location
Cons: Time trip to 1990's. Also the heavy plastic sheets hidden under sheets... Horrible in high temperatures. Protect your beds with respect to the guests.

Pros: Location, location, location! Garage parking. Excellent breakfasts. Hotel Binz contains an excellent Italian restaurant. Very clean rooms, attentive and friendly staff.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Room was fine. Staff helpful when they were there. Excellent location.
Cons: Staff not on site after 17:00 hr. much to the consternation of certain guests who arrived later. Parking was about 200 metres away. Not a terrible problem but I have reduced mobility.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Central location.
Cons: We were in the Penthouse, no lift, but seven flights of stairs, 70 steps. I would also question how this complied with fire regs as we had no alternative method of escape, which probably explains why our room had a fire extinguisher. There were no evacuation signs. Half of the light bulbs in the fittings did not work. Each morning at breakfast we had to compete with the flies for the food, on our third morning the ready made cheese and tomato open rolls were covered, I can only assume to combat the fly issue. Shower leaked all over the floor. Won’t be going back.

7.9 Good
Pros: We appreciated most the comfort of the beds and the jacuzzi in the room.
Cons: The breakfast is ok, but nothing special for such a pricey 4-star hotel. The fact that there is no reception after 18:00 is quite a joke really.

7.1 Good
Pros: You can’t get a more central location!
Cons: The rooms especially the bathrooms need attention. Old and worn out.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was great, Right in the center of everything.
Cons: Room was small, building 800 years old, no elevator, absolutely NO PARKING less than 1/2 mile away and paid parking. Staff seemed very grumpy from reception to dinner - like we were bugging them for any little thing we asked of them.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely old fashioned decor and furniture. Excellent situation. Good breakfast and dinner.
Cons: Our room was in an adjoining building connected by a bridge. This meant that we had no wifi access.
