7.5 Good
Pros: Good size bedroom
Cons: Food in one of the bars was very basic and the roof top bar was soulless
7.5 Good
Cons: Room is very small.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: very quite room and spacious for Japan . very good breakfast free shuttle to Chitose airport extremely kind staff . super clean close from Eon mall and bus/train station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Premier rooms in the new Chitose Wing are clean, modern, and spacious, with both a bath tub and walk-in shower (don't know what the older rooms are like). Food and service at the on-site HASKAP restaurant was very good, with surprisingly reasonable prices.
Cons: The mattress was too firm for my preference. Not necessarily a negative, but note that reservations are needed for the airport shuttle.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel
Cons: same hotel but much nearer the airport
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were good. The hotel is spacious and has 2 restaurants and 2 bars in the building.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Garden views from lobby and breakfast area were beautiful.
7.0 Good
Pros: We booked this hotel firstly because it offered connecting rooms which could accommodate all 5 of us comfortably. Next was the free shuttle it provided to and from airport (some hotels only provide a one way service to airport). We find this free service really useful as throughout our stay, we started our journey from the airport hence we did not have to rely on public transport to get there. The shuttle drivers were all very polite & punctual. What pleasantly surprised us was the 500 yen buffet breakfast that the hotel offered and the wide range of pillows that were available for guests to use for free. The hotel also has a small public bath, games room and a few massage chairs, which we fully utilised. There is also a conbini opposite the hotel.
Cons: Some of the staff manning the reception counter could be friendlier.
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice enough room with all necessities.
Cons: Very unhelpful desk staff member who did not listen to what I was asking and seemed uninterested in what his actual job required....to help people!Seemed very rushed for no apparent reason. Quite disappointing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast far exceeded our expectations. The Hotel is convenient, clean and a terrific value. Shuttle to and proximity to airport was a real plus.
7.0 Good
Pros: Lots of self service options. Including the pillow section by the reception. Free shuttle to the airport was amazing. Appreciated the service.
Cons: This is a rather basic hotel. Perfectly positioned for a short stay close to the airport, but not for longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We normally don't spend much time at the hotel. But it was snowing heavily that day and we just chilled out at the lounge enjoying free drinks and massage chairs. The location is quite far from the Chitose Station, but it won't be a hassle at all. The hotel offers free commute buses to/fro the Station at scheduled times. We arrived in the afternoon and there was no bus. They asked us to take a taxi and paid back the fare. What an excellent service for just 5,700yen during the travel season!
Cons: This is a really difficult question. I thought for a moment but even a suggestion didn't come out, not to mention any bad experience.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The every-hour airport shuttle is the good.
7.5 Good
Cons: there is free shuttle bus between airport and hotel, very convince me
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff were great Breakfast staff were polite and very helpful
Cons: I have no complaints at all.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: After a long flight, it was great to have such an easy place to settle down. Staff was helpful and the included breakfast was plentiful.
Cons: The hotel is right in the airport which is closed for a good part of the night so no nearby stores or restaurants. There are also no early trains out from the airport (first train out just before 7 am). Staying in chitose or sapporo would make for an earlier start.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location, access to onsen.
Cons: Bed was not very comfortable. Mattress very hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right inside the airport terminal. I was coming from Niseko and it was easy to find out of the JR station, signs everywhere. Onsen and breakfast included, after checking my bags I came back for breakfast. Clean room, and quiet even though my window faced the runway. I needed an adapter for my laptop which they kindly provided.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Good for what we needed, Overnight stay for a late flight. There is actually a bunch of cool shops in the airport. We were well entertained waiting for our bus the next morning. Food, presents, fun kids stuff, the airport is well equipped. (not the worst place to get snowed in) the hotel room was pleasant clean and convenient. There is even a detached spa/onsen on the 4th floor
Cons: As far as airport hotels go this place was killer.

Cons: Nil
9.0 Excellent
Pros: walking distance from chitose station
1.0 Poor
Cons: We definitely asked for non smoking room and they claimed the smoke filled room was non smoking. They claimed that there was no other rooms available, and it took almost an hour b4 they decided to give us new rooms.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable and "pretty" room, looked as it had been redecorated in recent times with french themed wallpaper and pastel colours. Staff was most helpful with recommendations for nearby Izakayas and restaurants communicated with my limited Japanese and his knowledge of english fine. Had an early flight the next morning, booked complimentary shuttle which earliest departure of 6.25am suited my 7.50am flight. Also suburban bus from airport drops you 3min from door (closer than train) Close enough to airport and budget price. Very happy with my overnight stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room is great, bed is comfortable, 2 different types (different softness) of pillow provided in each bed is a very thoughtful provision. Table mirrors, lighting, charging sockets are all adequate. Very near to the car rental centre and airport. Near to eateries and a shopping mall too.
Cons: The smoking area is right next to the restaurant used for breakfast, can smell the cigarette smoke.
7.0 Good
Pros: It's location to shops, restaurants and the station was excellent.
Cons: Only one bedside table for a double bed. Had hoped the restaurant would be open for dinner - not just breakfast. It was booked as a room for 2 but only one single lounge chair - fortunately plenty of space in the foyer to chill out if we didn't want to spend our time simply lying on the bed. That said, playing the same music on a loop was quite annoying
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room size was comfortable. Well located near the airport. Super lovely staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and exceeded my expectation in helping me to prepare my room, in getting our needs done. The room was very clean and comfortable. Getting a bus to the airport was never a hassle as the bus picks you up just next to the hotel in front of 7-Eleven. This information was also given to us by the hotel staff.
7.0 Good
Pros: Easy to get to and from airport (taxi or even bus). A short walk to local restaurants
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here prior to an early flight from Sapporo Chitose airport. Staff was helpful arranging a taxi very early in the morning. It's just a 10 minute drive. Room was clean and comfortable. We did not take breakfast, so can not review that. We would book this hotel again without any hesitation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our family of 3 stayed in an executive deluxe room. It was very large with 4 beds a sofa and sofa chair. The room was very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The train station and Aeon shopping mall were less than 10 minute walk on well snow plowed sidewalks. There is an excellent bakery across the street as well as 7-11.
Cons: The buffet breakfast was out of our budget.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: Good location. About 10 min from Shin Chitose Airport. But a long walk to station. If you are leaving early in the morning i suggest you to call a taxi prior that night. The japan taxi app didnt work for foreign numbers( i dont know now) and using didi also didnt help. We had to walk with our heavy backapacks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a private room with a bathroom. Room was large for Japanese standards. Clean with extra blanket in case we got cold. Common area had a few kotatsu (tables with blankets attaches and heaters underneath) to keep warm, very neat and cute. Also provided a free breakfast. Easy to get to from the airport either by bus or train. Bus back to the airport was super convenient, right next door at the 7/11. Staff also speak English.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helped us make cotton candy! Additionally the kitchen was amazing - plenty of cookware to make anything you want!
Cons: The hallways could use some heating in winter as it was a bit cold outside the room. Not a big issue though!
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenient location if you are staying before or after flying into Hokkaido.
Cons: The staff didn’t seem very friendly and I think if that’s your first experience when staying in japan, it would not be a very nice view in the locals. Not a social hostel, but that’s the nature of a hostel close to the airport I think.
7.0 Good
Pros: We can eat breakfast portion during night, the day we arrived..this is due to we need to check out early morning . Thank you AYANA.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet is well served and the onsen is impressive Musical performance is impressive too ! If only one thing to comment, it will be the wifi connection and speed But why not enjoy the quiet time if u need to !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was SUPER clean! Food was amazing. I really enjoyed the outdoor onsen. The room had a massage chair! Lobby, outside courtyard, restaurant, and any public spaces were designed beautifully. Free parking and free shuttle to airport was a great perk. As it turned out, instead of going to the airport early in the morning so my friend could catch her flight and I could check out the onsen at the airport, she took the free shuttle and I slept in then soaked in the onsen later in the day. Win-win-win situation!
Cons: The room was a bit dated with ventilation fans too noisy to keep on at night. Even when the staff explained almost everything related to the hotel upon check-in, we misunderstood that we could choose to eat dinner at the buffet or at the restaurant on the 2nd floor (both in a different building). Would have preferred to try the restaurant as we had buffet the night before at a different hotel. Note the onsen cleaning hours and whether you're required to bring your own towels from the room. Struggled a little to communicate that I needed to pack my snowboard for the flight home with boots and other equipment before having this luggage be held at reception desk. Stilled worked out in the end.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place to stay. The place is spotless and it’s such a peaceful relaxing place to relax and unwind .will definitely come back again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect experience their with my partner. Very clean and quiet. Felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after a nights stay here. Definately recommend and will come again in the future. The breakfast provides a lot of original Japanese food in a quiet atmosphere. Every single food is at a high quality. Worth every penny of the spending.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was well connected via the shuttle bus from Sapporo, the breakfast was nothing fancy but authentic and hearty made of ingredients from the region.
Cons: the hot spring water temperature could have been higher given the cold winter weather
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Dinner was fantastic. Value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. This was one of the best stays I've ever had anywhere. The baths were fantastic (one of very few places in the area which allow me to bathe with my tattoos), the location is gorgeous and peaceful, the place itself is comfortable and well-facilitated, and the staff were wonderful, especially the lady who brought me my dinner (kaiseki in room - INCREDIBLE) and helped lay out my bedding. A very Japanese experience following which I am more relaxed than I'd been in months prior. 10/10.
Cons: Nothing

6.7 Good
Pros: Fairly easy to find. Central location. Close to airport.
Cons: Had reserved 2 twin double rooms and one queen room. All nonsmoking. Was told at check in we could only have 3 queen rooms and initial room we were given, one smelled terribly of smoke. They did change us once we went back to desk. Ask for 2 keys if you have two adults in room, if one person leaves room with key, all lights go out and cannot use elevator.

Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean.

Originally booked this hotel because of free airport transfer, but was really disappointed after the booking was made to find out skis could not be transferred so had to arrange taxi transfers instead. With a stay at Guest House Shikotsu Kamui - Hostel in Chitose, you'll be steps from Lake Shikotsu and Lake Shikotsu. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nature and the beautiful Lake Shikotsu.
Cons: 1) Poor cleanliness, first I was greeted by an exposed soiled sanitary pad on the floor in my room. Then I realised the room and the mattress has got a strong unpleasant moldy smell. The cookeries in the kitchen are heavily stained. Sink drainage clogged with leftover food. 2) Lazy and unfriendly staffs, most of the time I will see the receptionist lady lazing on the couch watching TV or munching on something. Another part-time staff when I told her I need to do my laundry and I know it cost ¥100, to my surprised that she literally put out her palm and say: "Pay now." Some of the Kayak guide aren't very friendly, probably bored of their job thus they are kind a robotic and their main concern is have you make the payment, ¥7000 but actually nothing much to offer during the one and a half hours of kayak, plus a few simply snapped photos. 3) This place is unsafe for single female traveller. When I was enjoying the sunset at the lakeside park I got disturb by a pervert. I went and inform another single female traveller who was still photographing at the park. When we leave the park the pervert came out from one corner and chase after us. We ran for life and fortunately we reached the guesthouse unhurt. I told the guesthouse staffs, firstly they did not show any compassion over the incident, secondly the receptionist even suspect that I'm making up a story and commented that I'm making it a big case when I said I want to lodge a police report. Anyway, police report lodged after I insisted. What an experienced. My concern is the safety for the future visitors around this beautiful place. Whether it's a small or a big case, a case is a case, have to lodge a report and put in a record.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location, the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. It was great to have access to a kitchen for cups of tea and heating food. It’s definitely hostel style, and don’t forget to bring cash to pay. You need to hire towels, but only 100 yen. Walls between rooms are paper thin so make sure not to talk too loudly.
Cons: We weren’t too sure about the furry toilet seats
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Premier rooms in the new Chitose Wing are clean, modern, and spacious, with both a bath tub and walk-in shower (don't know what the older rooms are like). Food and service at the on-site HASKAP restaurant was very good, with surprisingly reasonable prices.
Cons: The mattress was too firm for my preference. Not necessarily a negative, but note that reservations are needed for the airport shuttle.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and attentive. Great room. Food was fantastic, like Michelin star restaurant, that is fanciful and in small portions over 10 courses. High quality ingrediets like abalone, wagyu beef.
Cons: There were brown particles floating in our private onsen. The staff said it’s onsen particles and perfectly fine. But it still grossed us out. They look like brown dirt.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: private hot spring bath
Cons: small shower room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The environment of the surrounding area and the atmosphere of the hotel.
Cons: Coffee should be served in the restaurant as well.
