The staff was very friendly and welcoming! The included breakfast was delicious and of excellent quality :) The location of the hostel is perfect! And since the coffee and tea are also free, you can drop by in the afternoon and continue your walking tour in the city afterwards:)
The staff was extremely helpful. The location was great and they offered free breakfast which was a nice little plus.
It was a little hard to get into the bunk beds as the ladder was quite far up.
Few minutes away from the Central station and metro. The privacy and comfort that you get through their smartly designed bunkbeds. Staff are really nice and there is daily housekeeping service.
The noise from the busy road outside since it is located centrally. Breakfast can be improved.
Great small hostel. Located very close to train station and tons of nice restaurants and cafes. Staff and volunteers super nice during my stay. Pod beds are great for privacy at night. Included breakfast is a pretty standard European breakfast that most other hostels would charge about 5€ for.
Beds could do with some better mattresses. Hostel needs a few more showers and bathrooms should be cleaned more often. Maybe for the price point towels could be included.
OK, so I haven’t stayed in a hostel for 30 years, but this one was getting such rave reviews that I had to try it out. And I loved it! The alcoves with curtains give good privacy, comfy bed with fluffy clean duvet and clean sheets, big lockers to put your stuff, amazingly friendly staff, nice hot showers and a cosy sitting area. Did I mention that the neighbourhood is achingly cool and full of restaurants, bars, shops - and that it is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the railway station? I regularly travel between Belgium and Central Sweden, and I don’t fly anymore, I take the train, and stop overnight in Copenhagen. This is where I am stopping overnight in the future. Who says hostels are for kids only? Plus it costs five times less than the place I usually stay in Copenhagen....:-)
I was a bit surprised that the dormitories were mixed, but probably I’m just a bit out of touch... Also, if you are a grown-up like me, and not as supple as you used to be, you would probably be happier in the lower bunk beds, to avoid some precarious climbing.... There were only 2 people in the 10-people room, but we were still assigned the top and bottom bunks by each other. A suggestion: perhaps when the room is not full, spread people out a little. The breakfast is not luxurious, but the bread was fresh, you got cheese and jam and real butter, and cereals if you want, and as much good coffee as you need. And it’s included in the price. I mean, what’s not to like here?
