Pros: Was only 1 minute walk to beach. Very clean. Loads of bathrooms towels and beach towels to use. Jennifer looked after our every need from amazing breakfast, to cleaning rooms, to booking taxies. The owners are very lucky to have someone as fantastic as Jennifer here. 9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very accommodating and great breakfast.
Cons: Tax is extra on the price you pay which is not always clear ... not a major issue just something to be aware off when creating budgets as was the price of 2 Dives ! Rooms have adjoining doors which are not soundproof at all and can clearly hear everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is ideal. It is very close to the beach, a health clinic and all the big resorts. Jennifer is very helpful, warm and is a fantastic host. I would stay here again if i come back to Roatan.

7.9 Good
Pros: Location and friendliness. The employees are nice. Breakfast is good. Best beach in town. Easy access.
Cons: It’s kind of falling apart. My toilet burst and flooded the room. And maybe I’m overreaching but considering we were there a week with two double rooms, the fact that they wouldn’t extend check out one hour felt like bad customer service.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location, the pickup from the airport and the hotel itself. Very pretty.
Cons: I didn’t like that we had to wait 2 hours to get our villa .. we got it until 5pm .. also breakfast is supposed to end at 10 so there should be enough food until then. Also it rained and there was no way to get from our room to the lobby without getting drenched.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and great view! Krys was a great host and was responsive to all of our requests. There is a groundskeeper and a very nice common area by the pool. The location was perfect. Great value for money.
Cons: Overall a great stay. It would be nice to have screens on the sliding glass doors to help keep bugs out while enjoying the beautiful view. I think I missed the notice that A/C is extra cost. Would've been good to know, but that's completely understandable at the same time.
10.0 Excellent

7.5 Good
Pros: Diving excellent but not a lot else to do
Cons: Not much to do if you didn't dive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful spot!!! Wonderfully nice staff. Very nice facilities. Great Dive Operation.
7.9 Good
Pros: I wish there was a VERY GOOD. I chose good because what is pictured in the photos is definitely on the PERFECT DAY when everything is perfect. We were also led to believe that all bathrooms were the outdoor bathrooms. I will say this though, the staff was amazing!!! Gary, and everyone else who took care of us did an amazing job!
Cons: I guess I would say the photos in the ads. It looks like an amazing resort from the ad on the website, however when you get there everything looks a lot older and not very well taken care of. It is definitely misleading.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was small and private. Also very characteristic. The loft was very much like what my fiance and I would like to find to live part of the year in. The palapa was a fun area to snorkel.
Cons: A little far away from main towns. I think we would have been better to rent a car, especially with the amount of rain that happened when we were there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was so comfortable and the air conditioning was super cold. A much needed comfort and luxurious stay after staying on Utila for 2 1/2 weeks.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The cottage was very comfortable and everyone was very nice. The reefs were amazing and the diving was very convenient.
Cons: If you could turn down the wind please? Seriously, it would be nice to have the trash picked up on our private island—on one end it was a real eyesore.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was awesome! Very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Cost of meals

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the brand new Reef suite. It is 3 bedroom with each bedroom having a walk in closet and bathroom with an amazing shower. Basically three master suites. Also has high end kitchen, living room, and outdoor patio overlooking the pool. I traveled with my husband and three teenage boys who felt like kings. We cooked one night and had everything we needed. I can’t imagine you can find a better three bedroom for 3 couples or an extended family anywhere in West Bay. West End has a lot of restaurants and bars and this space is quiet but three minute walk. Best of both worlds. Staff makes the place- so kind and helpful.
7.9 Good
Pros: Walking distance from the beach, staff very friendly, has a deck where you can enjoy the beach, entertainment, food, drinks and hammocks where you can relax.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location, the price and it is very pretty.
Cons: The upstairs beds on the Delfín apartment were very uncomfortable and need to be changed. And the pool was closed for the week and only open on the weekend when we went.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our second time at Caribe Tesoro. We returned because we love the location and the the premises. The mansión is gorgeous and also tastefully and colorfully designed and decorated. The staff was courteous and friendly. Kahshirra, Melissa, and Sonia were great and very accommodating to our needs. Mailin and Maridalia were also very, very nice as well as the ladies from the kitchen. We are always very sad to leave. Thank you for another wonderful stay.
Cons: Nothing really, but we have a minor suggestion. Some of their beach towels are not in good shape anymore. Perhaps they can buy new ones to replace those.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool with the swim up bar topped our list. Amazing views of the multi- blue and green colors of the Caribbean Sea. Very easy to walk to a beach area where there are more bars, restaurants and activity choices.
Cons: I would consider adding a hair conditioner with the bathroom amenities. My curly hair tangled pretty bad, but i managed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was exelent, ,clean place, service, friendly personel!!
Cons: The place is so nice!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views, awesome pool, Puma the bartender, close to everything including gumbalimba, staff were attentive.
Cons: Breakfast is only included for those staying on the second floor

4.6 Okay
Pros: The place was nice
Cons: Should invest is a pool, and at least lights along the trails leading to the Casitas
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was remote and quiet.
Cons: Not enough options for food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fantastic place for diving and relax
Cons: nothing, everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tree house #2 was a dream!!! The view of the ocean during the day and moon reflecting off the ocean while laying in bed was just breath taking! Loved the outdoor shower! It’s also has a fully equipped kitchen which you can ask the cab driver to stop at super market on the way there if you don’t have your own car. There’s so much natural beauty- plants, parrots, iguanas and the cute dogs!!!
Cons: The restaurant for lunch and dinner could have more sea food options but really everything here was just great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The free breakfast in the morning exceeded my expectations. There was always plenty of options and was always fresh. The bungalow was incredible. The views, the breeze throughout the house, the quiet, the privacy; it was great. The activities and excursions they have are a lot of fun as well.
Cons: Salamanders getting in the house (not their fault) The wifi was hit or miss at times.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the East side of the island, the least turistic and comercial part. It is an ideal place for the people who are looking for being in the nature (still with all the comfort), the best landscapes, good food and desconect from the city. The staff is super kind. They have kayaks, fins and other water ap that you can use any time. You can Kayak for 10 mins and you are already at the reef. Maybe if you want to explore the island it is better to rent a car.
Cons: dive fees are high
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was really good! But nothing beat the view out the floor to ceiling window
Cons: The sand fleas seemed a bit worse than west end, but they are everywhere on the island so I don’t want to hold it against them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was really nice, we really enjoyed this place. Close to one of our favorite beaches, Camp Bay. Nice change from busy West End and West Bay. The property is beautiful and staff were super friendly! We loved the outdoor shower on the deck and the view from the bed. The restaurant, Crow's Nest, had good food and service too! Great price! This was our 2nd time to the island, we've stayed in West End, btwn West End/Bay, Sandy Bay and here. We will definitely be back here!
Cons: There was a tree in front of the deck blocking the view to the ocean. Maybe widen the walk paths. The shower head on the inside shower could probably be replaced, easy fix.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Who doesn't go there on Roatan, has missed something ... Great place! No hippie-museum like West End, no crowded cruiseship-passengers-hell like West Bay. Calm, serenity, nature, atmossphere and top restauration. Oaks, flowers, fruit trees, coco palms, a dry & much more moderate climate than in the West. Fantastic crew - Jana, Samara, Marek, Kuba and all others. Great food. Very nice dive team with Instructor Marcos (unfortunately Real Madrid fan :=) ... and Divemaster & Captain Eduard. Great dive spots, also. For me, Marble Hill and the Tropical Island Divers represented something close to paradise - and I've seen the world, believe me... By the way: I did not know that place before and I do not have any link to the crew.
Cons: Absolutely nothing

7.0 Good
Pros: Most beautiful beach! Perfect safe location. Great for excursions and scuba also. Friendly staff.
Cons: Very small bathrooms. No hairdryers in the room like promised. Very thin walls and no rooms have beach/ocean view. Had to pay cash for taxis. Wish could’ve billed transportation to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beaches, clean everywhere and friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. They offer many fun activities; aquatic activities and site seeing. I have to mention that Ivan at front desk was very professional and friendly handling our arrival, concerns , questions and our departure. I highly recommend this hotel and of course that beautiful island called Roatan “Roa!” My family and I are happy guests who enjoyed every day, hour, minutes and second in the hotel and in the island.
Cons: Since the time I was there was low season, the hotel was very quiet. However, they have site seeing packages and aquatic activities.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. We did not choose the all-inclusive package as there are so many place ks to choose from in the area and drinks are cheap somwhere close all the time. Beach was great, water was calm. Couldn't ask for more on that front. Nice people everywhere. Always had a smile.
Cons: Our only issue was water pressure or lack there of in the shower. It really was hit or miss if you would have some pressure or no pressure. We made it work. Only other thing we would have liked was a coffee maker in the room so we could enjoy our balcony in the mornings more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and bed were great and also the staff was great to meet all my needs especially Christopher and Ariel the security were great.
Cons: A lot maintenance being done and the wifi was poor.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location, steps to beach, walk to restaurants and boat rides.
Cons: Depending on when you go there may be construction going on and internet, water, power maybe intermittent, at least it was when I was there.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location of Fosters cannot be beat for the price. I have stayed here before and love the staff at the resort and the restaurant serving the resort. I was upgraded to a cabin, which was much appreciated! I am sure I had the best view of West Bay hands down. Also appreciate the free air conditioning and water .
Cons: I am not a fussy traveler. But for those who might be bothered by some things I will comment on 1..the WiFi in my room didn't work...but it was available in the restaurant so it was not like I couldn't get online. And 2. The pool was being refilled due to the rain messing up the water....so because of this my room didn't have water one morning ...I let them know and they told me as soon as the pool was filled the water pressure would be back....no big deal for me..I used the water from the water provided in the room to brush my teeth and wash my face then headed for the beautiful ocean!
4.6 Okay
Pros: The beach is great the location is great and we love the dive shop in the hotel.
Cons: We had an average of 2 cockroaches and 3 bees every day in the room. Sheets and towels where cleaned and changed but really old and stained. Pillows and mattress in really bad shape. Overall service was poor and uncomfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the location
Cons: the staff and location
5.7 Okay
Pros: The beach
Cons: Very little services
5.8 Okay
Pros: 1.Price to stay here was very affordable. 2. Clean rooms every day. 3. Near by to different restaurants. 4. Good location and quiet corner. Except for vendors
Cons: 1.No power no water for a whole day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Right in front of The beach - Room had microwave, fridge and water dispenser. - Hotel restaurant prices on drinks was the best in all west bay. Also, ask for the days special on food to get an even better price
Cons: I will nitpick since I don't have any real thing I disliked: water on the island is salty, so when you bath, you do it with salty water. That's outside of hotel hands thought
8.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was goo
Cons: My son went to the pool and he put his cellphone on the bench and somebody stole it, we went to the front desk, the lady on charge show us the vigilance camera and we sow a lady and her kid grab the phone, but the staff told us anything they can do well the lady on mention it bring many people to stay in and they din't want any problem with her. In that case we went and talked to the lady who took the cellphone and told her that even if it were to return us the Identification and bank card but only managed to make her angry and offer to call the police and we didn't know who we were getting into because we could even wake up with flies on the mouth. In the end they did nothing to solve the problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the attention, the great attitude, the go out of their way to help and always with a smile...
Cons: At this point and after all the great attention from Fosters, little things don’t matter!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I love the location and how comfortable it was not to mention my view!
Cons: The light went out quite a bit. One of the times it went out at about 7am and didn’t come back until 12pm
9.2 Excellent
Pros: If you want 5 star Roatan is not the place for you! Fosters was perfect we didn’t need for anything, staff went beyond! Mr foster will do anything to accommodate.
Cons: Nothing

Overview Reviews
Nestled on the beach, this Roatan property is within a 15-minute walk of West Bay Beach and Tabyana Beach. Gumbalimba Park and West Bay Mall are also within 1 mi (2 km).
6.3 Good
Pros: Food was good, not the alcoholic drinks or snacks but I did enjoy the food at the restaurant
Cons: Outdated rooms, first they didn’t have a remote control for the tv or air conditioner but they finally got me one later. It looks like they have more like a quantity than quality going on there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great environment
Cons: Food was good but need more variety.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: food was plain and nothing noteworthy, hotel is really old and it shows. for th money spent i would expect a lot more. just another tourist trap.
Cons: poor maintenance, staff just ok. needs renovation on the pool area, the only pro I have is that it has one of the best locations in town.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The beach that's it.
Cons: Everything, employees horrible, room service horrible, no hot water, one of the employees Called our family member names and also no internet unless you paid 20 dollars which is a scam and it was also bad
7.9 Good
Pros: Location, location, location. Staff, staff, staff. The staff was as nice and friendly as can be. Not too overwhelming at all. They took the time to learn our names and greeted us every morning. It was a very nice touch.
Cons: The rooms were a bit used. Not run down, yet. Just the roof leaked when it rained, and the toilet moved if you sat on it wrong.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The pool by new rooms, the beach, & some of the staff.
Cons: The pools get closed too early at 7pm would have loved to get in a night. Mixture of both friendly staff with rude and unprofessional ones makes this place average in this area. Shows are geared towards adults and not good for a family with kids. Food was average and repetitive, it was same thing for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Would have loved to have steak at least once and not just fish, chicken, and pork at every dinner. Some rooms are outdated. Right now only appeal this place has for me are the prices and scenery which is all naturally there in most resorts as well.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The resort facilities were great for the cost. The leisure area and dining facility were both better than expected for an all inclusive resort in the West Bay area.
Cons: The hotel staff was incompetent. I pre-coordinated to have the hotel shuttle service come 15 minutes prior to their scheduled 0545 departure time to facilitate making my 0645 flight (which was more than enough time according to the staff members who said the ride would take 20 minutes and the check in would take an additional 20-30). The shuttle was over 30 minutes late, resulting in a hectic and dangerous ride to the airport, and ultimately, us missing our flight. The mistake and incompetence of the staff costed me over $1,200 purchasing new plane tickets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Contrary to other comments I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the food very good and services , the location was perfect and the atmosphere is festive as opposed to other resort in the area, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, I’m definitely coming back.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great beach. Great pool.
Cons: This hotel needs maintenance. So much potential and yet so much not done. Did not care too much for the facilities. Cracked paint, rotting wood trim, old roof shingles.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very clean and nice pools
Cons: Slow response when the ac unit don’t cold properly

Pros: Great location, just a minute walk to half Moon Bay. The hotel has a nice restaurant attached to it, and rents out kayaks and snorkel gear
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A small nice hotel. My room was in the back and very quiet. Consider this place as a “rustic beach bungalow” with a small kitchen. Excellent location, in the middle of the town, walking distance to all activities

Pros: Staff are bending over backwards to make sure you’re stay is perfect from the moment you walk in the door. When I was checking in and felt a bit ill, the lovely concierge actually offered to run home quickly and grab a tea to help with my nausea from the boat. The rooms were spotless and cozy. The food at their restaurant is probably the best on the island. Located just above the beach with insane sunset views each night. Coral wall directly in front of hotel in case you’d like to jump right into the water in the morning and swim around with the turtles :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff so helpful, great with helping us figure out where to go and call taxis. Let us check in early and even gave us extra bedding when requested. Rooms are very basic but not in anyway lacking great if you really want to get out and see roatan. View outside the room was outstanding as well, spent the morning watching the ocean off the porch.
Cons: Would have liked a blanket option but that's because I'm Canadian and cannot sleep without a blanket and the air con most people would have been fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful ocean and garden views. Very nice and helpful people working at the hotel.

Pros: Nice , relaxing
Cons: near to a busy road
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a small intimate family-owned business. Good price and good food. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need but the hotel is not luxurious nor meant to be. Its a close walk down the hill to the beach.

Pros: The property was private, yet close to the action if you so choose to venture out. There is a private beach, opportunity for swimming and snorkeling, the food was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with our choice to stay at this resort.
Cons: Our only complaint is that it was sometimes difficult to pay for food/drinks due to the restaurant/bar not having change for larger bills. We ended up charging a lot to our room, which was convenient, but easy to lose track of spending.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were outstanding! Location is perfect. Three minute walk to west bay and quick water taxi to west end. Quiet, friendly atmosphere Really can’t say enough. Best vacation yet!
Cons: Warm breakfast could start earlier for divers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place! Friendly staff ! I was in Roatan for business, but I will come here again with my family for vacation. The rooms are kept very clean and the onsite restaurant was absolutely fabulous. 5 Stars!! I really appreciated the hotel picking me up at the airport upon arrival and safely returning me to the airport for departure.
Cons: I have no complaints. No matter where you stay on the island, use bug spray. Roatan had many "no see 'em" mosquitos. But the beauty of the island and the wonderful people made up for the few bug bites.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The privacy. Great staff and security! Very safe and quiet. I love the location of the resort, very peaceful.
Cons: The smell in the bathroom.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The waitstaff and housekeeping personnel were excellent. Adequate breakfast though I would suggest perishable items be kept packed in ice while being displayed for consumption. Bar tenders were a wealth of knowledge. Great people.
Cons: Wifi was sporadic which was aggravating. Could not get work done. An $18 fee to use their little refrigerator for my personal choice of items was ridiculous. Never had to pay that kind of fee before. Drinks were more expensive than other bars in the area.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is our second time a d I love the location and the friendly staff like Christine in the office. Great job to everyone.
Cons: They can have more specials as far as for lunch and dinner. We mainly ate at other restaurants because the prices where very high for the food. You can get more somewhere else for less $

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was clean and nice! The room was way bigger than expected which was great! Everyone was helpful, provided great information and showed excellent customer service skills. The restaurants were great. Definitely plan to come back next year!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice grounds with several pools. Restaurants on site. Location is OK, but you will need a car.
Cons: If you expect any kind of view, you will have to book a suite. If you book a room you will likely wind up with a small bed room at the end of a unit with a separate entrance. Should have some instruction on how to operate the room safe.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Big French key access
Cons: Everything. Cheap products, terrible beds (small, bad pillows), furniture, toiletries were a joke.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people were very attentive specially the gentalmen name Luis!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place
Cons: I just wanted to rest but when I got there arount 11:30am , the stuff member told me that checking wasn't until 3. So we left and came back at 3 then a different stuff member told me that I could have come anytime and that at 1st it wasn't ready but I didn't have to wait until 3 and that was a little frustrating. Other that that it was awesome
5.4 Okay
Pros: Yeally nice the area
Cons: Clone liquor., lost items and late parties on the next door rooms
6.7 Good
Pros: I like the pools and the private beach the lake
Cons: It Is so expensive the food the room Is not too big the free teansportation to the airport Is only certain hours
4.0 Okay
Cons: The bed only had a thin old sheet, no blanket or comforter. The site said a free shuttle to airport, but they didn’t disclose that its only at preset times which didn’t work for our flight. The room was very dated and not at all like the pictures.

Pros: Always perfect accommodations and attentive staff. Thank you all for a brilliant stay and experience at Cocolobo. No hesitation to return or recommend.
9.6 Excellent

Pros: Staff was friendly and even had to-go breakfast ready for us at 5:30am. The B&B was a quick walk to West Bay beach which has INCREDIBLE snorkeling.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was only 1 minute walk to beach. Very clean. Loads of bathrooms towels and beach towels to use. Jennifer looked after our every need from amazing breakfast, to cleaning rooms, to booking taxies. The owners are very lucky to have someone as fantastic as Jennifer here. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Great place ❤️ right across the road from Java vine an unreal cafe and shops. Great tv channels also
