Hotel was clean and in a good location. Girl on front of desk was pleasant and very helpful.
Was challenged when arriving (by the hotel manager i think) about the purpose of my stay. Telling me that because i was staying on a ‘leisure’ trip and it wasn’t business that I wouldn’t be able to check in due to COVID rules. Even though when I booked my trip through booking.com I clearly stated that it was a leisure trip and there would be 2 adults staying in the room. Should have been clear from these two facts alone I wasn’t there on business. I appreciate he was only following the government guidelines but the booking shouldn’t have been accepted in the first place then. Wasn’t the nicest of welcomes.
Location was excellent, opposite Hyde park, two tube stations within 2 min walk. Friendly staff and very accommodating , onsite parking. Nice sized room
Breakfast should have had more variety
Room is your basic comfortable hotel room. The location is very convenient with easy access to tube stations and Hyde Park across the road. The breakfast was very special with a nice variety.
The tv location in the room was to the side of the bed which made viewing a little uncomfortable.
The vegan food at cafe meadows was fantastic. Concierge service rendered by Mr. Moriba and Mr. Aamer was excellent. The staff at front desk was very helpful so is front office Manager Mr. Rakesh Singh.
The size of room is small but reasonably comfortable for a couple.
