Very close to train station and food outlets
The staff were really nice. The room is minimalistic. Only 7 mins walking from the underground. Good value for money. Overall we're satisfied. If you don't have too high expectations and you're looking for a cheap place to stay in London, I'd definitely consider the Paramount Hotel!
Walls were dirty very basic room shower drain stunk the whole time. Staff were nice though
Facility was in a good location. Near the underground and several excellent restaurants. The park across the street was very nice and had events scheduled such as movie nights and such. Staff was friendly, although unhelpful.
On the first day, as soon as I walked in the room I noted a crack in the ceiling from apparent water damage. As there was no mold visible and everything was dry I assumed there had been an issue but it had been fixed. However, the ceiling leaked water on two different nights. Manager was completely unavailable to help resolve issue, never met the manager once. To make matters worse, when the ceiling leaked the second time we found out the attendant had not even told anyone of the first instance. Finally at the end of our 5 night stay, the facility told us they had been able to move us to a better room. No refunds, just a different room after dealing with leaking (and I’m sure moldy) ceilings for 4 nights and repeated requests for different rooms, refunds, or to be moved to another facility. Additionally, I emailed the facility several times prior to the stay and they responded to about half of those emails. All I was trying to do was stay an extra night but that proved one of the harder parts of our entire 2 week European trip.
I had the most comfortable sleep ever! The bathroom was nice and clean and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone because of the great location and comfort of the bed!
The bedding had some tiny hairs on it... dodnt feel nice seeing that. The outside basement area wasn't the cleaning (that's where my room was) and the Wi-Fi in the whole building was bad.
