Overview Reviews
With a stay at Steigenberger Coraya Beach - Adults Only in El Quseir, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Turtle Bay Beach and Blue Lagoon Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free valet parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, calm and great service.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked: Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had good variety, though it could be better, taste wise. Pool area is beautiful, though no snacks are served there like other resorts. Excellent female Thai masseuse at the spa. Ask for Tommy!
Cons: I didn't like: I booked a sea view room, and I got a garden view room with probably 2% of sea view between the palm trees! (See the photo from my room's balcony and you'll know what I mean). Some restaurants and room service staff had no idea what is in the menu and what even the items name mean! Management should do better in training staff to the standards of a 5 star resort. Some shops sell 1 year expired products, and management obviously does not even inspect what those shops are selling to guests. Beach is not pleasant, like that of Sharm el Sheikh, but that is just the geographic location of the resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely well designed property with excellent landscaping and tasteful environment. No Kids allowed, ideal for those that want to relax. Excellent opportunity to snorkel the surrounding reefs as well as a dive shop within walking distance. Lots of daily activities for those needing to stretch their legs. Beach is mostly hard packed sand. Water temperature was very pleasant at about 85 degrees. Both pools were kept cooler for a refreshing dip. Swim up bar to make new friends. Food quality in the various on site restaurants was excellent as well as the service level. I also liked the free internet service to stay in touch with home.
Cons: My room telephone came with noise and could not be corrected. Apart from that there is nothing much not to like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice breakfast and dinner - many tasty seafoods and deserts. Sea reef is colorfull and big. Personal is very friendly!
Cons: No dancing lessons in animation programm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was marvelous including the site the services and every thing
Cons: I did not expect it to be that excellent. The staff are marvelous. They treat us and every body with enthuthiasm and happiness. Really it is unbelievable experience also they offer help without looking at the money. As a summary it was the best.
4.0 Okay
Cons: We couldn't book all inclusive via booking.com, so we payed twice as much as the other all inclusive guests (who booked via travel agency) and still had to pay for everything! Food and staff not great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very decent. Especially when compared to other hotels in Egypt on the Red Sea. Especially the ones that work on the all inclusive basis. Normally I hate all inclusive as a concept, but this one was more than tolerable. Great service, nicest and helpful personnel, good food, cosy beach, very quiet. The guests are mostly seniors form Germany, so if you want action, this wouldn’t be the right hotel to choose. If, however, you want a relaxed time in a beautiful place with more or less respectable crowd, Steigenberger Coraya Beach is definitely a place to go. Coral reefs are amazing. You don’t even need to leave the hotel for more or less decent snorkeling. My favorite parts of the trip: a remote and empty beach facing the open sea (as compared to the main one surrounding the bay), cosy romantic evenings in the open air bar and absolutely perfect weather in mid-October.
Cons: Very few imported wines on the menu at insane cost. But it’s generally like that overall in Egypt. Not a drinking nation

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff are so friendly, smiling all the time and eager to help.
Cons: The facilities are a bit small for the number of guests. It can get a bit crowded.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are really friendly. The animation team is really good at getting people to join their activities.
Cons: Wi-fi is not always available from the rooms. This is not a complaint, it's probably better to not offer wi-fi in the rooms to make sure customers end up actually leaving their rooms. In the public areas (lobby and pool areas), the wi-fi worked pretty well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The spacious groomed grounds were great and uncrowded to walk and explore. The snorkeling was spectacular with the clear, uncrowded areas on the clear, coral and fish filled Red Sea. The beach lounging area was good, although crowded. It was nice to not be surrounded by other resorts so you could walk to other bays and secluded areas to snorkel or dive.
Cons: The resort needed a little upkeep and maintenance. It's easy to see the luxury that it once was. The food was also not wonderful but too much like a regular buffet restaurant. The WIFI was lacking, and only in the public areas.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location and the pool
Cons: Food
7.5 Good
Pros: the pool .
Cons: Food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super kind and helpful. The reef was amazing Great location for snorkeling
Cons: The food did not meet our expectation. The buffet was poor and all-inclusive drinks were bad.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is beyond amazing, the facilities and beach are superb.
Cons: The buffet wasn’t so good, and if snacks like pizza and burger are on the beach it would be perfect
4.0 Okay
Pros: Perfect room except that there is NO WIFI in the room only in the lobby. The bars and restaurants are very crowdy with a lot of guests loudly shouting. Only restaurant chez Pascal was quiet and good cuisine.
Cons: Too crowdy. Loud guests. Most restaurants regular level of food. Only Chez Pascal outstanding.

7.5 Good
Pros: • Reception very efficient • Room ready very quickly • Adequate selection of food • Beds very comfortable • Air conditioner was virtually silent • Built a special feeding area for the wild birds (wonderful!) • Animation team was very involved with guests & work really hard to ensure a festive time is had by all • Ice cream every afternoon • staff do their best to accommodate requests & deal with complaints • Very few mosquitoes
Cons: • Have to walk to the end of a 750m jetty to get to the sea where you can snorkel • First few hundred metres are great for children, as it’s very shallow, but not ideal if you want to have a ‘quick’ dip • Jetty is shared with the sister hotel next door (Royal Tulip) so the snorkelling area can get congested
7.9 Good
Cons: Check in process took like 3 hours

Cons: Almost no real snacks. No food variations. Many extra fees services out of all inclusive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: beach
Cons: lots of extra charges
7.5 Good
Pros: The extra we paid for our own personal family beach meal was outstanding
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very friendly and cosy resort. Everything was better than expected, even the coral reef, which has way more diversity of life here than in Sharm or Hurghada, and the corals are healthier. And the food was magnificent! Every dish was super-tasty - after a few days I even tried to chose something to dislike, but I couldn't find anything less than excellent. :) The internet connection is pretty OK and the rooms also have working Ethernet plugs, so if you bring your access-point, you can set up your personal WiFi-spot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was very well prepared and with quality ingredients. Staff was extremely kind and professional. The beach is beautiful and the coral reef amazing. The dive center (Orca Dive) is very professional and has great equipment.
Cons: The fitness studio is really poor, with very few machines and otherwise all other spa facilities are not complimentary.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Ibrahim is a fantastic host he is a solo traveler also so he knows what you need. the structure is comfortable and rooms quiet and clean. If you have any question ask and ibrahim will help you. From booking a tour to order food or grab a taxi. Kitties are all around.
Cons: Marsa Alam City is nothing special but the reef is astonishing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were big and comfortable in everyway. We asked for local breakfast and it was no problem for them to change from the normal bread and jams. Marsa Alam is very strange in its set-up, you have the waterfront (forget lively boardwalks or beachside entertainment areas) then a strip of desert and unfinished resort building projects. Then the road that this and a few other hotels are on, then a large strip of desert littered with more unfinished resorts and finally the town. Rihana guest house is a fair walk from the town centre, but would definitely not have wanted to stay anywhere else. Great place.
Cons: Mosquito (but repellent and also mosquito nets were provided...and they were everywhere in the town anyway)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was big and clean and the mosquito net was welcome, because there is a lot of mosquitoes at night (bring repellent!). The use of the refrigerator in the kitchen was nice to keep the water cold. You can even get cooked meals delivered to the guesthouse. There is a menu available for the guests. The breakfast is a typical Egyptian breakfast of warm bread, yogurt, a hard boiled egg, jam, butter and honey. Simple but filling. But it was really the owner, Ibrahim, that made my stay special. He’s very nice, super funny and is always telling you interesting stories or fun facts about all and nothing. All my love to the cats Ibrahim!
Cons: Nothing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ibrahim was a great host, and helped with any questions we had about Marsa Alam and any activities we wanted to do. The outdoor area in the front of the hostel was great also, such a nice area to relax and chill out after a day diving.
Cons: WiFi didn't always work.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: was good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Mahmoud is a great host who will arrange taxi, trips, diving and food delivery.
Cons: Not much to do in town, but I already knew beforehand.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Relatively clean B&B with bad breakfast in a ghost town
Cons: I arrived here mid December, so it's definitely off-season, there's really not much open! The area around the B&B has nothing but half finished ghost hotels. There was exactly one café open without a menu (you just get okish fish, 80 EGP), no supermarket, no pharmacy, no other restaurant! The shore had no real beach, it's a local port, the next (bathing) beach was 5km away! It's also 15min walk to the town... The staff there (Mahmud) can barely speak English which makes it very difficult to arrange transport or breakfast. Speaking of, breakfast is very basic (flat bread, hard boiled egg, honey, yoghurt) and had no variation. Also be aware, they try to charge you 2€/day extra for Wifi which is not working in the rooms and consists of an LTE stick in the kitchen with a limited data plan. The room was relatively clean, but the pillows and mattress were very hard! After three creepy days almost alone in this B&B I moved to another place in Marsa Alam!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My stay by Ibrahim was really good. The host was really fine. He arranged everything for me. For example my dives on elphinstone. Every thing went on an easy way. The house is super confortable. The view great
