Loved the location and the gestures the staff did to make their guests comfortable. Location is unbeatable. Special shout out to Cameron, who went out of his way to flag down a taxi for us when our booked car did not arrive. We really appreciated his help. Just another example of excellent customer service provided at this hotel
The high pressure in shower meant high wastage of water and one gets blasted with cold water whilst trying to turn the tap for a hot shower!
The Art Deco style of the small, well-run Walker Hotel creates a warmth and coziness that is a welcome haven from the bustle of NYC. My room on an upper floor had a really comfortable bed, windows that can open to let in fresh air and a great shower. The staff was friendly, attentive—when I called down to ask for an extra blanket, it was brought to me immediately. The food in the restaurant was healthy (important to me), good quality and delicious. The Art Deco lobby is beautiful and inviting. It was great to see so many people enjoying sitting and conversing there. They also have a daily supply of N.Y. Times. The location in the West Village is great. A great hotel.
Comfy, friendly, gracious.
The room price was higher than when I booked so that was a surprise but it was attractive though small. The a/c was very loud but luckily it wasn't hot out so I could turn it off.
The location is perfect! the staff is very helpful and cooperative. The hotel restaurant is very good. thank you !
The room we originally booked was in fact at the 16th floor, very small and below our expectations. we upgraded to a more spacious room with a little patio at the second floor.
