8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for 3 nights, early/mid-week. The food here is excellent and very reasonable compared to UK prices. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially our waiter in the evening - giving guidance on wine, the menu and local knowledge. The bed was very comfortable and the shower water pressure was strong. The hotel itself is located about 15 minutes drive outside Oviedo in a peaceful country setting.
Cons: The venue has a spa - but no gym facilities, and no tea/coffee machine in the rooms - which I would have expected in a 5 star hotel. On the last night there was a lot of noise downstairs about midnight which kept us awake for about an hour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the staff were all very helpful, we couldn't fault it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing property, location, architecture, facilities, everything. Value for money has been the best we’ve had so far on our holidays and the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.
Cons: The realisation that we will probably never return.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Classic charm. Friendly service. Excellent swimming pool.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Bad Wifi
7.0 Good
Pros: The foyer and common areas are very impressive. Dinner in the restaurant was good
Cons: The duplex room, with the bed upstairs had very poor windows, making it very dark. The headboard on the bed was not secure and rattled every time you moved. The breakfast was not up to the standard of other 5 star hotels we stayed in. No offer to help with bags on arrival, though on leaving we were helped to the car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outside of town up a mountain. Beautiful property and grounds. Spa had everything including breakfast lunch and dinner restaurant. It has a richly decorated bar and also quite sitting room. Breakfast was buffet with something for everyone. Also individually prepared eggs and omelettes. It was a really nice place to enjoy and relax.
Cons: As custom in Spain no food served from 4 pm until 8 pm. We arrived after 4 pm and hostess was able to suggest restaurant in city that was open with reasonably priced food available before 8 pm.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good and restaurant and staff excellent.

Pros: Breakfast in the beautiful ballroom/function room with ornate ceiling, classical music. Both Spa's are lovely, although very different. We thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay here.
Cons: Shame that the staff rather got in the way of the guests trying to serve themselves the buffet breakfast.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Comparing with other 5 stars hotels that I booked in this same trip, this was a ugly duck.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect!!!! The employees were very kind and helpful! The room was extremely clean and the cleaning ladies cleaned daily, changing the sheets every day as well. Cons: breakfast was too late, only at 8am on sunday
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice modern design, friendly staff, proximity to city center
5.7 Okay
Pros: Nice, stylish, friendly.
Cons: Unfortunately, incredibly hard to find. You park in a separate location near the hotel. The layout of streets and signage in Oviedo is very poor and confusing. Hotel should try to highlight that for international travelers who might not be accustomed to old Euro cities.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcoming, simpathy and professional personnel. Excelent location. Great value in terms of accomodation. Garage facility at-hand.
7.0 Good

Pros: A very conveniently-located hotel, close to the bus station, restaurants and shopping areas, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Good value.
Cons:
6.8 Good
Pros: Design, very close to city center and various wine bars, close to train station.
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: The location, right in the heart of Oviedo yet within a minutes' walk of the bus and railway stations, and surrounded by useful shops, cafes, bars and restaurants; efficiency, friendliness and local knowledge of staff; ease of check-in and -out; whilst part of a chain, it feels individual enough. Relaxed and informal breakfast experience with a balanced variety of items on offer.
Cons: I don't mind the post-modern decor, but the carpet needs changing (certainly on floor 3) and possibly a revision of style. Storage in the room not great: cumbersome, rickety wardrobe that kept catching my fingers between the doors and the drawers. An armchair in the room would be appreciated. But on balance I think we'd go back to the 'Marcos'
5.2 Okay
Pros: The air conditioner worked well. The breakfast was very good. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel was near the station (nice walking distance) and the main streets.
Cons: The beds were not very soft. The wall paper of the room was a little too vivid for relaxing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: -Location - Check in - Staff - Bed - Cleanness We were given a smoker's room, and we don't smoke. After the 1st night, we requested to be changed and they kindly upgrade us to a Suite. Previous room was fantastic, the Suite was phenomenal. The staff was amazing with us. The location is a 10, and there's a Spa facility with good prices. We are going back to Oviedo, and we will definitely book Hotel Fruela without hesitation.
Cons: - Parking is a bit expensive.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very good location, easy check in and out
Cons: No swimming pool as shown on the pictures, very noisy - you can hear everything from rooms and street
6.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful city
Cons: Because the room was very warm (top floor) it was very noisy outside with the bar trade. I should have asked for the air conditioning to be sorted.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stylish interior, quality fixtures, great breakfast fabulous bathroom.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The furniture...in general..not well kept
7.1 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Room smelled of smoke and dust. Shower floor and walls mouldy. Shower did not seem to have been cleaned.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nothing in particular stands out about this hotel. We were a little underwhelmed.
Cons: On arrival, the lift from the carpark to reception only went part of the way, there was no signs to say there was an issue with it. There was a reaasonably large stain on the carpet outside the door to our room. The bathroom was not seperate enough from the main bedroom area, having a chainmail type 'wall' and only frosted glass on shower and toilet areas. The food in the restaurant was the worst we have eaten, anywhere. We did feed this back to the restaurant and reception during our stay. The breakfast and staff in that area were perhaps the only thing that was outstadning during our stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money, quiet and safe location, wonderful staff.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful to us as first time visitors. Room was very clean and bed was comfy. Restaurant was good but menu was very limited.
Cons: Location was not too far from 'things', but required a hike for food and entertainment. Parking on site is very tight. Our van got 'specia'l parking at the side of hotel, but it too was tight with another car there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room with a big terrace, hot floor in the bathroom and a small cute balcony. It’s not located in the center but easily reachable by car. We stayed one night there during our honeymoon and the staff left us a small present. Thanks for that :)
Cons: The situation with the parking was unclear. I asked before coming and they replied to just stop at the front door (which was impossible due to the traffic) instead of mentioning the conditions of the parking. (The covered parking is incredibly inconvenient, don’t leave it there in case you decide)

When you stay at Casa Camila in Oviedo, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Fuente De Foncalada and Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.0 Good
Pros: Casa Camila is pretty and a great place to stay if you are looking for a retreat. The rooms are spacious, clean and the views are lovely. Breakfast is good and the breakfast room has gorgeous views. The grounds are well-kept and a natural haven.
Cons: It's 20 minutes by car from Oviedo and there's nothing around--no restaurants, bars or shops. It's remote and up in the mountains. If you are looking for a place for quiet rest, contemplation and relaxation, it's lovely. BUT it's not a great place to stay if you want to spend the bulk of your time in Oviedo. Also, breakfast is served from 7 - 10 am and there is NO FOOD available otherwise on the property and nothing nearby. Don't stay here if you don't have a car and/or if you want to hang out a lot in Oviedo.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff at Casa Camilla were very friendly and helpful. Excellent views over Oviedo. Breakfast was good and room as expected. If possible contact hotel for directions, sat nav doesn't provide the best rout.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location means an amazing and unbelievable view of Oviedo. Getting there isn't that hard as it may seem for the first time. Breakfast (even if we didn't ask for it in advance) was great, nice piano music was playing in the background. Wifi is available everywhere! They also have a beautiful veranda with a couch and chairs, books and lightning. Last but not least, the owner is an incredibly nice, helpful and kind gentleman!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with fabulous view.
Cons: Great location a long way from town. Long hilly walk or drive. It’s not a dislike just an observation.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: This place was a serious disappointment. We booked rooms for two nights well in advance for four couples (ie 8 people) with historic cars as part of our driving tour of Asturias. Our hosts were expecting 10 people, so their maths differed from ours! This hotel is a nightmare to find and it was dusk by the time we eventually located it. Challenging roads delight us and do not usually daunt us, and we are familiar with map-reading. However the online description regarding access is economical: “sloping“ is an understatement: the road is very steep, in appalling condition, narrow, winding, and with a sharp hairpin which required several attempts to negotiate. Exhausted on arriving at last, guests must then tackle 59 steps to get from the car park to reception, so this place is completely unsuitable for anyone with even mild mobility issues. There were then more many more steps within the property. Alternative accommodation in Oviedo town had to be arranged for one of our couples. We were further shocked to discover on arrival that there was no food available, despite the fact that the hotel sign outside features the word “restaurant“ and online indications claimed there was a cafe and dining room. The bar closed at 10 pm. Rather than tackle the dreadful approach road again in the dark, our party was obliged to order by telephone pizzas to be delivered by taxi to the hotel. The breakfast on the first morning was significant for its poor quality. There were only three croissants for 8 guests (yet our hosts were expecting 10 of us!). Worse was to follow as the hosts had failed to go shopping and there were no croissants at all for the second morning’s breakfast. It was generally agreed by our party that the breakfast at this place was very shabby and we were treated poorly. This was the only hotel on our tour which failed to meet our expectations.

Pros: Location
5.0 Okay
Pros: We had been traveling around Spain for a month, staying at different hotels. This was the first hotel were the receptionist ( she was a blonde lady at the front w desk) was very unwelcoming. She never smiled, even when we checked out. She was very curt. The breakfast staff were very nice though, as was the gentleman who helps with the suitcases upon arrival.
Cons: There was a very foul smell in the lobby of the hotel, like a sewer. They had a fragrant steam blower on, but that made it worse.

Pros: Everything
Cons: It was perfect

Pros: The room was fantastic, bathroom was huge!! The staff were really friendly. The black bar is fantastic and had a great atmosphere and breakfast was wonderful too. I had the buffet option and there were many choices. I would definitely return and I totally recommend
Cons: I had no.problems at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Black Bar attached to the property is a real Cocktail Bar. Best Manhattan I have ever had. Right across the street is a famous Pastry Shop Camila De Blas, eclectic and great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The greeting by the front desk staff was extraordinary. In particular, Miguel was so helpful and a positive experience. He helped me with my delayed luggage from the airport.
Cons: The lobby did smell of smoke but this is something I realize is typical of Spain and not where I’m from.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our Ayre Hotel Ramiro room was a basic hotel room - nothing fancy, not too big. But it was perfect for our needs - comfortable bed, soft towels, nice shower, and a TV plus WiFi, and a nice place to relax, after walking all day, before heading our for dinner.
Cons: Maybe a larger room? But for the 2 of us, experienced travelers, the Ayre Ramiro more than met our needs. We knew what we wanted during our stay in Oviedo, and we got it.
7.0 Good
Pros: It´s a 10 minute walk from the city center. The Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend it. It´s value for money in Spain.
Cons: The shower didn´t heat up as much I would have liked it to. The water was fairly warm but not hot enough. The wifi would sometimes go off. When I called reception, they were prompt to fix this.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Staff service and food.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, handy to everything, literally around the corner from the Cathedral Square and about 5 mins walk to Constitution Square. €5 taxi from the train station or easy 15 min walk. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Large 2 room apartment + large bathroom. All spotless. It’s a business hotel and a little frayed at the edges but nothing that impacts comfort or function. Very comfortable bed. Some may find the black decor a bit overwhelming but the splashes of red and white lift it all. Good spaces for large suitcases and lots of cupboards/shelves etc to put things. The staff were very friendly and efficient and helpful. Great value for money.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. Would stay again and recommend to others.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location was the only positive at this hotel. It was excellent, bordering the historic center of Oviedo. I opted out of the buffet breakfast offered by the hotel and instead went to a bakery shop called Panerai for a continental breakfast (just across the street from the hotel and a very short walk away). Definitely recommend and very reasonable.
Cons: The hotel does not merit a 3 star rating. The rooms look outdated and the a/c was unusable because the staff did not explain or offer the remote control required to turn it in or off. In addition, opening the window only made sleeping even harder because of the noise in the streets below. The price was also higher than the quality hotels we stayed at. The buffet breakfast offered and for which my friends paid was a dismal experience. Do not recomnend In short, it was the worst hotel experience we had in Spain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The location was perfect, the room was great and Christina was amazing!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. It was perfect.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of Oviedo old town. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The manager also made up for our difficulties with the AC in our rooms and moved us to different rooms.
Cons: The breakfast was inedible. The pastries tasted like plastic; the eggs were overcooked and tasteless; the coffee machine didn't work; the fruit was sour. The staff in general was not very sharp. We also had to change rooms because the AC didn't work - they should check the maintenance of the rooms beforehand.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was perfect for our needs
Cons: We weren’t crazy about the decor and the style of the hotel but it worked perfectly well
