Cons: So noisy that at 7 you are up impossible to sleep beyond that time, terrible breakfast, no minibar and the bathroom very nice but if you have not worked at the circle du soleili impossible to have a shower or climb in to the bath.

Pros: When I went to check in at the Hampton inn on east Bay Street (the hotel I researched and selected specifically cause of its location) they told me kayak had the hotels messed up and that the hotel I was really booked at was about 11 blocks away and not on the waterfront When we got there and checked in to that hotel my wife and I went to take a shower and the water wouldn't get hot. Then we went to watch some tv and the TV didn't work. The little get away for us to relax for a night was a disaster.

Cons: Six of us came into the bar at 9:15, & were told initially we couldn’t order dinner because the kitchen would close at 10! After “checking” with kitchen, we were grudgingly seated. Drinks & apps okay, then had a thirty minute wait for mains, of which a couple were dry to the point of being inedible. Two of us stayed in the bar after, and despite several patrons still being present, staff started putting stools up as if this was some dive bar. Not at all what is expected from a top-rated hotel.

Pros: The location was great for exploring Savannah, many attractions are within walking distance as well as a trolly pick up location across the street. We were able to check in early which was nice to get settled into early in the day. The amenities in the room were great, having a mini fridge and safe are always a plus. Staff was all very polite and welcoming. The front desk was able to hold our bags at check-out until we left for our flight.
Cons: To be honest there wasn't anything I did not like. If I had to nitpick only one elevator was available due to renovations going on. Of course, single elevator access due to winter renovations are minor in my book because they did not cause much of a disturbance and it was the slow time of year which is when these type of renovations usually occur.

Was a great distance from River St. Though I had some issues, they were miniscule compared to the location, comfort of the room, and the friendliness of the staff.

Did not realize until after walking River St. then comimg back to the room that the a/c was not operating properly. The shower door was broken upon arrival and had to call the front desk to have it fixed. Maintenance showed up quickly to fix the situation. Also requested a quiet room due to the fact we were travelling with a 2 yr old. My room was next to the maintenance/cleaning closet and service elevator. Due to constant flow of people coming and going next to our door it was hard to get my child rest comfortably.

Pros: The hotel and the room was beautiful. It looked as though the hotel had been through a recent renovation. Everything looked clean and new. The color scheme was very pretty; purple and gray. The room was nicely decorated, the bed, pillows and linens clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends. Close to the historic district and shopping.

Pros: This is my 6th time staying at the River Street Inn...every time I stay there, I love it even more. This was a last minute, one night trip and I got a great deal; I was even upgraded to a river view room! Normally I prefer modern hotels, however, I love the charm, character and history of the River Street Inn. The rooms are clean and comfy and the staff is always friendly! You can't beat the location of RSI, just park your car and walk everywhere. I love the chocolate candy they put on your pillows every night and the wine and cheese social in the evenings is an added bonus! (my stay this weekend was on a Sunday, so I didn't get that perk...wish it was EVERY evening)I have stayed at several other hotels in Savannah in the past, and now there is nowhere else I'll stay except for the River Street Inn. Thank you for another GREAT experience this past Sunday y'all!

Cons: That the $25.00 parking PER night was not disclosed until we arrived. So the $105.00 value price for the night with the parking actually more than other hotels. The information about the hotel did indicate that parking was provided but never dreamed I would be charged a fee and then per night. Since I had already prepared for the hotel, my hands were tied. Many friends have inquired about my visit to Savanagh and where we stayed. I informed them about the my experience at the Hilton as being a great hotel but to watch out for the unknown ( parking).

Pros: My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights in June 2016. My room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The staff was, for the most part, very kind and helpful.
Cons: The shower in my room was somewhat tricky to use. Though, once we got it working it was fine. The wi-fi didn't work at all. It wasn't something I needed so I didn't bother to speak to a staff member to figure it out.

Pros: The hotel was located in a great location and immediate entering the hotel it was very cleanly and updated. The room was very nice and we enjoyed the hot tub located in the second floor. Would definitely recommend and go back soon.
Cons: The price for valet parking was a tad expensive and the breakfast price was a bit high which deterred us and we went elsewhere.

Pros: It was all modern/contemporary and designed very unique. Lobby was really cool. Complimentary breakfast was AMAZING--- we chose the hotel because it was included (which is hard to come by in that area) and it did not disappoint!
Cons: Parking was $20 per day with the hotel valet. But there was a parking deck right next door that was only $5, so we parked there instead.

Pros: We love this hotel and decided to stay even though there was construction taking place. Our room was out of the sound of the construction but the lobby! Oh MY! We had no idea. Jackhammers as we walked in. Deafening. And the breakfast was in 2 small, crowded spaces, instead of the lovely lobby where it usually is.

Cons: We had to stay in a strange interior room with no real window or daylight. The wifi did not work and we racked up a lot of data use on our phone since we could not connect. They allow dogs to stay at what seems like a very nice hotel. It is disruptive to hear dogs barking when you are trying to relax. Also, as someone who is highly allergic it was hard to stay in a place with pets and dander. Had I known ahead of time that they allow pets, I would have likely picked a different hotel.

Pros: The beds were comfortable. Breakfast included. Lots of good restaurants, sight seeing, and nightlife within walking distance.
Cons: Rooms were too small to be considered a suite. There was no pool--Savannah is too hot to not have a pool for relaxing! The AC made the room freezing when it was on but the room was hot as soon as the AC cycled off. Too expensive for what you get, but seems to be on par for the area.

Pros: A very clean, upscale and modern hotel right on the riverfront. The Top Deck roof top bar is a great place to hang out and unwind after a day of walking the historic district. Look out over the city or watch the huge cargo ships passing through. You are located above river street with a bunch of neat little stores and just a few blocks away from City Market where there is always something going on. I'd highly recommend this place

Pros: Love the location, fantastic to walk around beautiful historic downtown. Right on River Street. Felt very safe. The bathrooms are very nice and such a nice size, much bigger that most that are the size of a small closet.
Cons: The floor was not very clean, like it had not been mopped. I would also maybe suggest another hotel if you are traveling with children. The rooftop bar is great, but you also have to contend with lots of drunks. I would not like to expose my children to the language and the fact that most people riding the elevator are seriously drunk!

Cons: The hotel was under construction. It was so loud and not relaxing. Every room heard the construction. I moved to another room to another floor in hopes of getting away from the noise. It was worse where I ended up. I was woken to construction noise. The bathrooms were old, mold around the tub, water pressure terrible, toilet seemed dirty on the outside. Had I known the hotel was under construction And so out of date, I would not have chose to stay there.

Pros: The hotel is very clean and big. Right on the river so it has an amazing view. The room was a decent size and was comfortable.
Cons: I felt like The first check in staff I encountered was trying to scam me. She said my room wasn't available but that they had a room ready but it was an upgrade with additional costs involved. I declined but went to consult with my wife and she said we should do it. I spoke to another check in member who magically was able to find me a room without having to upgrade. Either she didn't really want to help me or it was a setup. Either way I didn't appreciate that.

Cons: We were very surprised and disappointed to learn they would not accept our three night stay toward our Hyatt points as a preferred customer because we book through a third-party. RIDICULOUS!!! Apparently the $825 we spent wasn't appreciated. No where on our on-line reservation did it tell us that, in fact, it asked us for our Hyatt Reward number! We stayed there this time to get our points. Had we known this we would have stayed at one of the historic B&Bs. They'll be hearing from us.

The bartender Sunday night wasn’t as friendly with as much personality as a piece of ice. The hotel is in an excellent location offering availability to the river, dining and shopping.
