Pros: This is a full 10-grade hotel. If you like hotels with a charm - that`s the one in Strasbourg. The restored old inn building is just beautiful with a number of old beams kept around. The staff is remercably kind and helpful. With a booking.com rate the price - quality ratio is just amazing! The location is also great - in the vicinity of all the touristic/shopping attractions in the city!

Pros: We booked early and found a very good price for our room. The fairytale-like hotel is a recently restored 16th century Alsacian construction, complete with exposed wooden beams, contrasting very nicely with all of the modern amenities (very clean new bathrooms!) The staff was very welcoming, and most spoke French, English, and German. They recommended and reserved a great restaurant, and also reserved us a taxi with no problems. Wifi is pay-only, but there is a free to use computer, with printer, near the lobby.

Pros: The location was excellent (2 minutes walking and you are in the centre of town) as was the friendliness and quality of the staff. The hotel is an excellent blend of modern interior design in a historical building. The rooms were roomy and comfortable (in particular the beds). Quiet location.

Pros: They had renovated a very old building very carefully while including excellent modern facilities. It was hidden away within walking distance of the old town, it was quiet, a real treat, one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

Pros: This was the first time that I visited Strasbourg. Without knowing anything about the city, I booked my stay at Hôtel Gutenberg. The location is centrally located The Cathédral Notre Dame de Strasbourg was no more than 150(est) meters away. The part of the city that is located on the island is walkable. There is tram service if one desires. I walked from the train station to the hotel and estimate that it was 15 minutes (I walk fairly quickly). If I return to Strasbourg, I will consider this as my first choice.

Sundays you can park on streets for free overnight if you can find a space that saves $30 Make sure you walk city at sunset it's amazing. I heard the boatride at that time is breathtaking

Pros: Just perfect! The hotel is located in the very historical centre of the city, two minutes walk from the car park and close to the main tourist attractions. Especially welcoming staff, large modern well-equipped bedroom, spacious bathroom and copious breakfast. Great value for money.

Pros: The rooms have an internal corridor - so the actual bedroom is away from the door and the main corridor of the floor - this is good because you don't hear any noise from the lift (my room was directly opposite it) - nor other hotel guests. Location was also quite good.
