The entire place was magical, beautifully tucked away in the mountains. I loved that we not only had the private room baths, but also could reserve private times at the two rooftop onsen. I traveled with my family, and this was very nice for us so we didn't have to separate into different baths in order to access the larger onsens. We could hear the river from the roof, and the mountains were stunning and green. The hosts were so polite and attentive, the food delicious, futons fluffy. Wonderful stay and very rejuvenating.
The environment and the service is so good. The staff is so helpful and the room is spacious and clean . The onsen is very good
The beef is good but the quality of the rest of the dishes could be improved.
The room was huge with a private spring onsen, plus there were 2 rooftop onsen available for private use until midnight. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, with good produce and local dishes.
Linen, towels and yukatas were a bit worn which, for the price of the room, seemed unreasonable. The setting of the hotel is in between 2 roads. If you can, book a room facing the river side.
The outdoor onsen were great and the view of the mountains was great. Will be very beautiful to see autumn foliage
There are only two outdoor onsen which require booking. There maybe chances where you won’t be able to visit either 1 of the 2 onsen.
Room that I booked comes with onsen bath.
For the amount of money I paid for half board, the food quality was not up to expectation. The service was rushed during dinner time.
