10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the design, rooms, location and breakfast. The staff worked very hard and it's a nice little Oasis in the middle of town. The location is very convenient. We also enjoyed Touradant, more than we expected. Not too touristy, feels like Morocco.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was perfect: the room was very nice with a cozy private patio and always absolutely clean, the food was delicious (both the breakfast and the 4 dinners), the services are high quality. Mrs. Julienne an Mr. Mohamed are dedicated to make the guests feel at home; they work together with The hotel staff that is very professional and very kind: they are a big family! The rooms, the dining room, and all around everything is furnished with lovely details, in moroccan style. We’ll be back soon !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lovely home made jam. Beautiful clean room. Great helpful hosts. A great Christmas Eve meal. Great location right in the heart of the town but secluded and quiet retreat . Loved our stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is exceptionally clean and well run with friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The suite in which we stayed was beautifully appointed with a lovely terrace. In fact, one of the highlights of the Riad was the variety of terraces and places to sit and relax. Breakfast was also very good and included in the rates.
Cons: We loved the quality of the dinner we had on one night but felt the price was a bit steep, especially when compared to the restaurants in town. Also, charging 22MAD for a bottle of water that costs 5-6MAD at the shop next door was unnecessary.
7.0 Good
Pros: the atmosphere was lovely. we were welcomed with tea and some Moroccan sweets which was lovely.
Cons: The beds were so hard that we all had much trouble sleeping. One thing we really did not appreciate was the fact that when we asked for a good restaurant we were sent to a bad place in the main square. It turned out the staff member would get a tip for whomever he sent here. Very unprofessional. Sadly we had not been asked if we had wanted to have dinner at the Riad itself which would have been much nicer.Unfortunately, the Riad was fully booked
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and the staff were very helpful and caring. We ate at the riad both nights and the food was delicious and fairly priced. They arranged taxis from the airport and to Agadir town on our behalf. The relaxing terraces were a great way to spend some quiet time after the hustle and bustle of the city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This Riad is a very nice place to stay. It's in the medina, but you have direct access by car or taxi. There is a guarded parking 500 m away. The house is clean, calm and lovely. The food was very good. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We can totally recommend this riad.
Cons: -/-
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful riad! The owners en crew are very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! Would recommend this riad to everyone!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Riad inside the Medina of Taroudant, in a very good location to visit most attractions. Our room, at the first floor, was very bright with balcony and large windows (not very common in a Moroccan riad), but the rooms located at the ground floor are probably darker. Very good breakfast included, but no gluten free and dairy free options. Great staff, friendly and helpful. If you drive, there is a safe parking a few minutes from the riad.
Cons: You can have dinner inside the riad, but they ask you to choose the same plate for all. This is a problem for people with different taste and sensitivities. We had a problem with the hot water arriving, but it was fixed the next day.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely tranquil and a pure pleasure to spend time here. Lovely host and beautifully inspired French/Morrocan architecture. I totally recommend spending a couple of nights here.
Cons: Make sure you have clear directions it can be hard to find even though it's not far.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast with friendly welcoming hosts. Peaceful surroundings with lovely gardens and pool. If you choose to dine here expect a five star dining experience.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a little paradise with garden and pool. With French owners, we felt comfortable putting on shorts and relaxing by the pool. After a week in long pants and shirts it was a nice change. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The whole property is new and lovely. We chose to have dinner there and the food was good. The owners, Helene and Julien, are kind and helpful.
Cons: Nothing. It was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: beautiful grounds, very friendly and helpful hosts, stylish and comfortable room, good breakfast
Cons: Wasn't that easy to find, you might struggle if you don't speak french
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - walkable to Taroudant medina, but really peaceful, rural setting. Lovely gardens with a good pool (even if it was a bit cold in January)! Comfortable rooms with everything you might need, all in good working order. Delicious food and really friendly and helpful owners and staff.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the garden and the design of the rooms opening onto it. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Comfy beds, spacious rooms. Good bathroom one of the best we had in Morocco.
Cons: We did not have satnav and found this tricky to find down a dirt track. It was well sign posted once on the track... It was a good location near the town, peaceful and a little oasis so lots going for it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool and the garden are big and enjoyable. The recommendation to visit the tannerie nearby was well received. It was interesting to learn about the process and we got better deals in the leather shop than in the souks of the Medina. The food was great and a welcome change from all the tajine's of the south. It's a bit expensive knowing that you can get dinner for less than half of the price, but the french-moroccan cuisine from Helene and Julien is definitely worth it! We would definitely recommend having dinner here.
Cons: Nothing really negative, but if we need to highlight something.. Travelling the south of Morocco, we noticed the hosts were very engaged at check-in with a lot of tips & tricks while drinking tea. When arriving in the Jardin, we received a glass of orange juice and were left to rest and install without any information or tips/tricks about the region. We had to ask the hosts for all the formation we needed, but when we engaged them they were very open and helpful. The hosts moved to Morocco about 10 years ago and all facilities are still very comfortable and clean, however you notice it is not new anymore.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Le Jardin des Epices is an excellent place to stay if you're visiting the Taroudant region and are willing to find a cosy and calm spot. The owners are very kind and will make sure your stay is pleasant. The rooms are sparkingly clean, quiet and well furnished. You will get the opportunity to taste some home made products for the breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Garden, room, breakfest, cleanliness and comfort like at home

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Palais Oumensour is a very beautiful Riad. We had a great room and the staff was very friendly. Aimet showed us the souks and the city of Taroudant. Also diner was very nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Superb staff, spacious rooms and inviting pool amidst slightly faded elegance
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful people! Very nice atmosphere. Beautiful Pool & Court yard. We have checked out other Riads and this one really is the best in Taroudannt!!
Cons: Close to perfect! Only details like biiiiig bathroom but tiny toilet. The Charme of an old Riad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the highlight of our trip. We stayed in six beautiful riads while in Morocco and this was our favourite. The place is exceptionally curated and professionally run to a standard that sets it apart from other stays in Morocco. There is a beautiful courtyard area with pool and lounge spaces (and luckily when we were there, three kittens!!). The room was huge and impeccably decorated. The staff were kind, helpful and had great English. The location is well situated in the chilled city of Taroudant (in our opinion better than Marrakesh). Do not hesitate to book. Will definitely recommend a return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful room off terrace, stahh always polite and helpful
Cons: Very satisfied
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hidden paradise of Taroudant.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Did not like city taxes not being shown when booking hotel
6.0 Good
Pros: Setting was beautiful and staff was friendly
Cons: You had to give them advance notice if you want lunch or dinner. We arrived hungry but had to go out for lunch
9.6 Excellent
Pros: atmosphere, rooms with delicate interior and design, good mattrass, pool, location, friendliness. Rooms are tidied up real clean. We received a room upgrade. Can totally recommended the place.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is that the music played on the patio is there till around 23:00 (noise from patio can be heard in rooms). This might be a bit of a nuisance for early risers who wish to sleep at that time.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the hospitality was outstanding. The food was excellent and the facilities superb, including the pool. We would like to thank Mustapha and his staff for making us feel so welcome and our stay so memorable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I`m not the first time in Morocco, but still there is not enough words to say that, this is one of the best place where i stay in, you feel small and like king in the same time, it is magic place build with style, there are all the best from Morocco architecture you can see in Marrakech in the best functional accommodation, you really feel you are welcome by owner and also the staff, maybe this is not the cheapest one, but when i will go to Atlas and Morocco again, i will return there for sure. Also we arrived late evening but owner take his time to welcome us, and the staff have had no problem to serve the best dinner what i ever had in Morocco. (do not let your self be discouraged by the entrance path, as we arrived at night ,several times, we wanted to turn back because we felt like we are at the end of the world :) really do not do that, the actual accommodation, is really one of the best)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We only had booked one night in the Riad due to our roundtrip to the coast. Luckily we had google maps. Otherwise we would not have found it. It is 10 minutes by car from Taroudant in a residential area. The Riad is a bigger compound with an awesome pool area and great staff. We had dinner there, which was great. Unfortunately only one more family was there, so the situation of being there nearly the only guests was a bit ackward. Nevertheless the service was excellent as well as the food. Breakfast was good. It is possible to order additional dishes like eggs. The room was a bit dark, which is probably the maroccan style. The room was clean and it was the only hotel on our entire trip with a fridge in the room. They have little turtles. Thank you for the fresh lemons and tangerines, which we were given as a present for our trip.
Cons: The room was a bit dark and the missing signs at the main road. Just an advice: Advertise your lovely riad at the main road, so people can find it easier.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Riad is wonderful but Mustafa's hospitality is even better. He made us feel welcome and out kids had a wonderful time. The dinner and breakfast that was prepared by the staff was wonderful. Truly an oasis in the middle of the desert. Our only regret was not staying longer. Don't hesitate and book here.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this oasis in the desert. Best breakfast in Morocco. Enjoyed dinners on the patio. Great value. Tranquil. Nice staff. Lovely setting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful oasis with outstanding friendlyness especially towards our kids. Great atmosphere in historical accommodations. We will be back! The architecture, the friendlyness and delicious food!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff and proprietor were extremely friendly and welcoming as well as unpretentious. Moroccan. Food was freshly prepared and good
Cons: Needs proper bath sized towels
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here with our daughters aged 4 and 6 and had a lovely stay. The hospitality was excellent and the girls were treated royally. We spent our time playing by the pool and eating oranges from the trees. The gardens were well kept and the Riad was beautifully restored to what I imagined a real Riad would have looked like. Previous reviewers mention that it is hard to find but google maps took us right there. Just expect that you will drive through some back streets!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best places we stayed in Morocco. The Riad is just beautiful and nicely decorated. The rooms are very nice and perfect for a couple. The homemade dinner was excellent and the owner was very friendly

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Family room was big, breakfast was very nice. Staff very attentive and helpful. Really good experience.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner/manager is charming and attentive. He did everything in his power to make our stay comfortable. He drove us into the central square so we could have dinner and then collected us later. However, while he speaks French his English is almost non-existent. The house, once a family home, is faded and quirky but our hosts charm and desire to please more than made up for any shortcomings. All in all, highly recommended.
Cons: While the owner/manager was wonderful the location is not convenient unless you are driving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host is very service minded and helps with everything and is standing ready every minute of the day for his guest with high services. Very good rooms, clean - well thought through with an eye for detail. Breakfast is a feast - with lots of different choices on the table
Cons: It was a little out of the center - about 15-20min walk to the main square - but the host is always willing to bring you there (and pick you up) with his car Some people might feel overwhelmed by the high level of service attitude of the owner.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Internet was faster than in other riads. Private parking.
Cons: There was no working heater in the room and temperatures are pretty low in January. Breakfast was very basic and unattractive.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The host was very helpful and a good source of information, at times slightly patronizing. Laundry without extra charge. Free transport to taxi stand upon departure. Breakfast sumptuous. Accomodation offered everything you could think of, even a sewing kit.
Cons: Heating in room stopped working on last day. Breakfast area freezing cold. Not a typical Moroccan riad. Although all necessities were provided for, the accomodation was rather basic and soulless.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super Ali
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Riad Asma is easily accessible just inside the city walls. Mr Ali was an amazing host - he could not do enough for us, including washing our clothes, dropping us off and picking us up from a restaurant in town and providing tea, water and the most delicious orange juice whenever we wanted it. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety including boiled eggs, olives, fresh bread a selection of preserves. We would not hesitate to recommend this place for a stay in Taroudant!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything...especially kind host and clean room
Cons: nothing..everythlngs are perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming riad and absolutely lovely guest Mr. Ali will make anything to accomodate any request you might have. Five stars all the way.

Cons: Everything was ok.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely authentic riad in an excellent location close to everything. Youssef the manager did his best to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Originally we booked just 1 night but we ended up staying 2 nights. There was a baby cot in our room for our 14-month old baby, which was a nice surprise.
Cons: The sink was blocked and dirty when we arrived so the first impression wasn’t ideal, however Youssef went above and beyond to fix everything for us. Breakfasts were OK, though nothing fancy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean location. The room was small but comfortable and the breakfast was ok.
Cons: Slightly anonymous and sterile but good value for money.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place Very clean, quiet and comfi Very nice staff
Cons: - The sinks in the bath room were too shallow - just kidding, one previous guest complaint about that :) - the bathroom was not separated bu a door from the sleeping room Other than that - fantastic place to stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was lovely, the food ‘ beef tajine’ delicious, the staff so so friendly - room was huge and very comfortable. Just a fantastic oasis.
Cons: Nothing. It was divine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful place to stay! Friendly staff. Absolutely recommendable.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The pool was beautiful and needed in such hot weather. Jacuzzi is a nice extra.
Cons: Air con didnt work. Staff fighting very loudly at 8am. Guests banging on hotel dooe at 6.30am and this went on for ages and the hotel phone kept ringing. Guests arrivibh at 1am very noisey. Breakfast not as good as expected. Dinner expensive for what you get.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's not in the middle of the city, but for us was great- travelling by motorbikes, Very clean and great atmosphäre, Dinner in the Riad was very good.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: payment in cash
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Old bed blankets that are placed in the closet and not like one would expect in winter on the bed. So I’m basically had to make my bed. Towels where not in the room and were left on a dusty table outside the room. The room smelled like an old closet. I was expecting to get to this riad and enjoy their hamam experience but after this unattractive first impression I decided to forget about the hamam. To complete the anti-relaxing there was almost no hot water to shower. My advice avoid this riad, hey just avoid staying at Taroudant all together is not worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Arrived around 10pm from the airport. We were let in, and shown our room (no concerns about payment first) - and it was a lovely room. Beautifully lit pool area. Breakfast was good and every one helpful. Plenty of parking outside.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about Dar Zahia. It was by far our best accommodation and so appreciate the attention to detail and excellent service. We highly recommend enjoying the facilities and staying in for dinner, it was a real treat and some of the best food we had in Morocco.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an amazing time at this hotel which is truly a gem. As interior designers and artists traveling we are often in places that are ALMOST right but not quite right, but this place is clearly run by someone with impeccable taste and attention to detail. The hotel only has 4 rooms which means it is always quiet and feels like staying at home. The dinner was delicious by the fire in the library, the shower under the vaulted ceiling memorable, and a pleasant surprise was getting in bed and finding it warmed by a hot water bottle! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Taroudant. Marc and Sana and everyone we met during our stay went above and beyond! We will be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We actually stayed in the Pavilions in the Dar Zahia garden. The garden is a magical place, beautiful plants, many places of chill out in the sun or shade, amazing pool, welcoming and friendly staff, and quality accommodation. One of the most unique places we have ever stayed in
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I slept like baby in the centre of the Medina, only birds woke me up in the morning.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: decoration incredible.... to the very last details.... very friendly & helpful staff....
Cons: cash payment.... no good idea.... my opinion.... would be better if you could direct customers to the riad by some DAR ZAHIA signs.... very very difficult to find...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So excited to finally stay at Dar Zahia! It was a relaxing break away from Marrakech and Dar Zahia was what I needed. It was such a please meeting Zahia and Marc the are very welcoming and the staff is so nice. I enjoyed visiting the souks and other places of Taroudant with Zahia I wish my stay was longer. I look forward to visiting again.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The riad we stayed in was amazingly beautiful. We really enjoed one night staying there. The bedroom was nicely furnished and the most amazing thing was the breakfast we had, which I would rate as the most amazing among all we had in Morocco. The host was a very nice person and made all his best to make our stay comfortable.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location just about 10 minutes walk from the main square, but tucked away in a small and quiet side alley. My room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Decoration is rather opulent, bordering on kitsch. Good and generous breakfast. Overall okay, but with a few annoyances, and slightly overpriced IMO.
Cons: The walls of the room don't seem to provide any noise isolation, you hear everything that happens in the riad as if it were directly by the bed. It was virtually impossible to control the TV, as the remote was not sending the correct codes. After a lot of trial and error, I found at least a button that would switch channels one by one (ie, do what CH+ should). And about 500 clicks later, I found the first english-speaking channel (BBC world) and stuck with it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had here the very best meal of our whole holidays in Morocco, delicious but a bit too generous. The decoration of the riad is also really worth the stay.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great dinner. Make sure to be starving as the amount of food is impossible to finish. The patio is beautiful
Cons: The room and furniture was quite old and not beautiful. The owner mainly interacted with french guests and pretty much ignored the rest. I could not get cash from the bank as it did not except my card. I had to pay in cash and when I asked if I could pay in euro the owner wanted to charge me an extra of 15EUR. After some negotiating he went down to 10EUR on top of the exchange rate.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was fair overall but the pancakes were very greasy.
Cons: Dark, claustrophobic, not allowed on roof terrace. Some staff surly. Bathroom flooded after we took a shower. When we told the cleaner she looked at us as if we were mentally deficient and asked why we did not lift up the drain cover and remove the ball of tissue. Silly us!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was great experience to stay in riad for first time. Staff is not speaking english, but it was possible to communicate with them in other ways :) good vibes there. It was fun.
Cons: All was good!!!:)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Highly recommend eating at the Riad for and amazing dinner!! (although make sure you’re hungry, it’s a lot!). Friendly and helpful staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was large with a side room and ensuite. The bed linen was v comfortable. There was air con if needed. The room looked over the garden and for Morocco to hear birds singing was lovely. The meal was out of this world. Really worth the 400 mad for Two people. It's a feast. Book it early though as you need to give a days notice. Latifa is a wonderful cook and person. Mr Habib a kind and thoughtful host.
Cons: There were renovations taking place. But that won't be forever

Pros: Location is very good
Cons: The hotel was not clean at all
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, right between the tourist area and the centre of the city. Manager was very friendly and informative. Room was clean and area quiet.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: THE LOCATION IS UNREAL! Also, the building has great rustic charm (not sure why people complained/gave poor reviews because of this - the look has NOTHING to do with the quality of the stay). Our room was clean, had a spacious bathroom and a really cute little outside catwalk for us to people watch/dry laundry. For the price, this place couldn't get any better.
Cons: Reeeeeeally uncomfortable pillows. They have those ridiculous obelisk body pillows instead of the normal rectangular ones.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The hotel is advitised as having a restaurant which it hasn't.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The history of the hotel, quietness and proximity of everything
Cons: More TV channels.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Great location close to the centre.
Cons: The bathroom was quite dirty and the bed was not very comfortable to sleep in.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location right in the Medina. Also the private parking place was very convenient. Breakfast was good, staff friendly. All together good value for money.
Cons: A bit outdated and small room, but fine for one or two nights.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were helpful and attentive and were particular caring when I was unfortunately ill for a couple of days. Location of hotel is excellent, breakfast was good and rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily.

7.0 Good
Cons: Prices on booking is over than real price
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location, nice staff.
Cons: Hotel is a little out-of-date. I think few years ago it was very good, but now it needs renovation. Bathroom is spacious but old and not so nice and clean. Toilet does not flush properly, water pressure is too low and you have to wait for hot water (we were on 2nd floor). Bed and pillow pretty uncomfortable. Wi-fi was work good by the reception desk, but not in the room.

7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, Pool, Nice Garden
Cons: Rooms are quite outdated, Choice in the Restaurant is pretty limitted
4.8 Okay
Pros: The place is a gorgeous retreat, very pretty and peaceful, and had a lovely pool.
Cons: We were the only guests and it seemed somewhat rundown. However, they may have just been preparing for their busy season. Also, when we arrived there was a problem with the electricity, we had none for the first night, so this lowered our score. Having said this, the atmosphere with just candles in the middle of a beautiful courtyard was truly special.

Pros: Beautiful hotel with two heated pools. Excellent food...more options for lunch than dinner. Great, affordable selection of Moroccan wines. Several WiFi hotspots including one for each set of rooms meant we always had a good connection. A perfect way to spend two nights. The town itself was just ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's just a little outside of Taroudant, which makes a big difference in terms of ambient noise, lights, etc.. The gardens are wonderful, the staff is very professional, the restaurant always had well-prepared selections.
