Cons: Breakfast was a little basic
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We was greeted by a very friendly member of reception staff who was quick and efficient but ready to answer our questions. The hotel was beautiful and clean and the decor was obviously new, well maintained and very homely. The room did not disappoint and it was lovely to have slippers and robes. The bed was amazing and the spa was gorgeous with the perfect views. Would highly recommend this place and would love the opportunity to come back. Thank you for our stay.
Cons: I would have to be very picky but a second chair on the balcony would have been nice and some additional options on the breakfast for example porridge or poached egg.

Pros: We really liked it! We arrived late (around 10:00 PM) as we were biking from Chamonix. They made dinner just for us and this was very nice... as we were extremely hungry! We also really liked the location, at the end the valley and right to start climbing col de l'iseran. The hotel is really cute and well located. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This little chalet in Val d'Isere was amazing!! The chalet is stunning, the rooms amazing, the breakfast was superb, and the staff was super helpful. Of all the resorts and hotels in Val d'Isere we could have stayed, this little chalet tucked 1Km outside of town could not be outdone!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Chalet is very confortable. The lady owner was very nice and helpful, she even booked us a table for dinner at the local L'atelier d'Edmond (Michelin star). Furniture and bath room was perfect. Breakfast was very good and had all you would need. Good wi-fi. Highly recommended hotel.
Cons: We had room n.1 but believe other rooms were better than ours. This is normal as we booked the room the day before arrival and stayed for one night only.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a wonderful property in a quiet village and the air was glorious. The staff went above and beyond to cater to my food allergies and the cable car takes you straight to the top of the mountain where we were able to watch the Tour de France. We were even able to get picnic lunches to take with us. Wonderful stay!
Cons: The only small downside was that when my partner went to take a shower in the morning, there was no hot water left.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly staff. Easy to walk up to nearest ski lift, also easy to walk to and from bus stop to get in and out of town at night. Was good to be away from the centre as the hotel location was very quiet.
Cons: Nothing!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and a fantastic SPA, good restaurant, and very good valet parking service. Good gym facilities. The bar was quiet with comfortable chairs. The dinner food was excellent and service from the hotel staff was always good and fast. This hotel is top class and priced as one of the most expensive hotels in Val D Isere, the hotel is giving you a very good and comfortable visit due to the SPA and the good space in common areas.
Cons: Hotel rooms are small but comfortable but the bathroom is claustrofobic small and the seperate WC lacks washing facility. Elevator capacity are to small and gives enoying waiting time now and then. The food is very good but the breakfast is little below standard and gives you nothing extra. But the dinner food is perfect. Location of the hotel at the Olympic Street, the main street in Val D Isere is very good but the hotel sign is small and difficult to detect. Many guests have problem finding the hotel. The SPA is is wonderful but is difficult to use because of low capacity.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great Location, Stunning View, Very Comfortable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super hotel, staff were great, room was very nice - though shower could have been better bed was very comfortable; breakfast was delicious and the spa area was ideal. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. 5 mins max walking to slopes
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the breakfast selection and the spa area.. The steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool were first class, and the view from the pool was amazing. It's the best steam room we have ever been in.
Cons: The room was a little bit small but otherwise it was comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view of our room was so good, both Olympic and the Le solaise were seen and it was a joy just to watch people skiing from the slopes. But absence of the coffee and tea stationary is a huge minus. The staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfeast was fresh everyday. Spa facilities and the swimming pool was so good. The bar, the cocktails very good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location.Good swimming pool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quality of accommodation
Cons: We booked a taxi to return us to Geneva and the agreed price was €350 yet the taxi at Geneva charged us €420 as it was an early start which the receptionist had not told us. The taxi company was late getting to us and the driver needed to change after ten miles to a new vehicle as the driver thought our pick up was an hour later. The driver then detoured on route as he forgot to fill up with petrol the night before. The taxi company was very poor and the hotel should not use them as they don’t represent the hotel well

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We (myself, wife and 20 month old baby) have just returned from our stay here. From the second we arrived, the staff were brilliant. The entrance was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The room was very nice! Good size and amazing views. The location was perfect, 1 minute walk to slopes/ski lift and 3-4 minute walk into town. The hotel provides free shuttles when required, which is helpful! Being my first ski holiday, i was unsure what to expect, but i cannot say a bad word about our stay here (and I’m generally quite critical). For what its worth, when we go away we stay in the best hotels around the world and i would easily put this hotel in the same category. Room number 409 is a great room to book if you go..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible attentiveness of the staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Staff exceptionally helpful and always on hand Bar area great.
Cons: Hotel Restaurant lacked character ( but there were plenty of restaurants outside the hotel that were fabulous)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and views. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. About a minute from the slopes. Excellent pool and hot tub.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Food good but limited choices so if you like more plain food this may not suit you and its high end French cooking - also limited for vegetarians and vegans.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Living room uncomfortable (type train station waiting room), the bathroom and the sole toilet are in one of the 2 bedrooms. Kitchen a bit filthy, very narrow and not equipped (grandmother's drawers style), very old fridge, fan above cooking plate at head level (!) doesn't work, very old fridge, old generation style useless furniture, unhygienic rugs... Non CE marked nor earth-grounded metallic lamps, (forbidden and subject to huge fines / close down all over Europe); electrical instal non conformed in bathroom, when closed from outside the front door cannot be opened from inside! (life hazard and penal responsibility of owner) Obviously no responsible person has been inspecting this apartment for a long time. Not something we would expect from a 4 star (?) hotel be rented.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic family run hotel in the heart of ale Lac. First the positives: - the hotel is clean - the outdoor pool is fantastic after a days skiing - the food is very very nice
Cons: The only negative is we didn’t get our shower gel / shampoo replaced for the week. To save weight we didn’t bring our own as we thought we could use the hotel provided. It didn’t last very long!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa was great.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food is fantastic. Loved the spa and boot room facilities for ski and snowboard kit. Lots of space in the room to hang and store clothes. The staff are amazing. A wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back!
Cons: The rooms are a little small, but that is very minor as the views are wonderful!

Cons: Those with mobility problems should be aware that the hotel is a five-minute walk uphill from Tignes.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location, boot room, bar & bar staff
Cons: Booked 2 adjacent rooms but were given rooms 2 floors apart. We were moved to rooms in basement to be together but next to lift shaft and plant room which were noisy night and day - a downgrade on our original booking. No resolution after 4 complaints. Small discount offered at end of stay by way of recompense. Didn’t sleep well for the entire stay.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Room very small with little light but it was cheapest room
8.8 Excellent

1.0 Poor
Pros: The atmosphere and the location
Cons: Probably the worst night's sleep I have had for many years. The single bed was small, too narrow and very very hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My family of four had a really relaxing 5 night stay at this hotel. The room was cozy and the bathroom up to date. We were basically snowed in for two days but enjoyed the loft where we played games, read books, and and ate our own snacks. Once the weather cleared, we grabbed our gear from the ski room and walked to the slopes. At the end of the day, we skied right back and hit the sauna. The nearby parking was easy after we dropped our bags. The included breakfast was standard alpine fare, meats, cheeses, yogurt, breads, juice, and coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If we return to Tignes, we will stay here again.
Cons: No issues.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location of hotel. Ski also good. No much slope for beginners in November
Cons: No match for beginners ski slope
6.0 Good
Pros: Very good and friendly staff, who are very helpful. The location is amazing, being near the restaurants and slopes.. Great pool room for the children to hang out in. The boot room was on the ground floor, making the beginning and the end of skiing easy. Great saunas and hot tubs after a day on the slopes.
Cons: The beds are a bit basic, as is the breakfast. The lighting in the room is either Super Nova or single tea-light brightness. There is no bar, as such. Its basically the breakfast area, with a server waiting on the tables, which closes at 8:00 pm. This means the place is pretty dead after then
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Super location, helpful staff, comfy room, and great value. Would happily return!

6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast good. Boot room and ski room really good. Overall, a nice place, and nice owner. Second night booked was great. First night disappointing, as we were given a small double, when we had requested a twin.
Cons: If you specify twin/double room, you might not get what you want. First night stay disappointing - check in disorganised, & twin room requested not available, though the logis resolved this with an extra room (at extra cost). Second night stay much better.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: the home made cookies/cakes after-ski
Cons: the room: small and a bit old looking, would have expected better for the price
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and spacious room. The hotel itself, the building, with good sized reception and common areas. The restaurant was exceptionally good, both for the food and the excellent wine selection with guidance on choices from one of the ladies on staff. Breakfast was also very good Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating
Cons: No problems really
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location within the village. The pool and spa I doors. The breakfast had lots of good options. The hotel was very clean. The room as great for 3 people.
Cons: The floor around the pool gathered lots of water and was very slippery. The eggs at breakfast were inedible. It was difficult to connect to the Wifi.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a nice stay at Gentiana. The staff (including the owners) were helpful and easy to deal with. The location is great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cosy atmosphere & room. Good breakfast selection. nice indoor pool and spa baths.
Cons: As with, I suspect, all hotels at this location you have to park in one of the underground car parks nearby. Whilst they are free during summer (not winter) the manoeuvring and spaces are very tight if you have a large vehicle. Not a criticism of the hotel.
