9.0 Excellent
Pros: I just finished a 3 night stay at Rodavento with my 2 college daughters. I think this is a very special spot, and will share a couple of highlights. First, the spa is incredible. The word magical comes to mind, we did the hydro pool experience followed by a Rodavento classic massage. Highly recommend it. Second- the little village of Valle de Bravo is just charming- just spend the day walking and exploring the 2 churches and watch the sunset from CINCO. Dinner at Case Rodavento is an absolute must, the quality of the experience for the price blew me away- amazing food!. (When I come back with my husband, I think I will stay at Case). Third- we stayed in a forest suite and the room was lovely, enjoyed the tub and the fireplace every night. Finally- If your Spanish is not that good, make sure you ask to speak to a Manager that has better English so you can get your questions answered. We stumbled across Gustavo (what a delight) at the spa and he helped us tremendously with excellent recommendations. I can’t wait to go back to this charming part of Mexico.
Cons: The housekeeping is not 100%- sometimes they miss very minor replacements.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed
Cons: the breakfast should have more options
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Surroundings were amazing. In the middle of the woods. Top design. Complimentary Nespresso in your room. Food at the restaurant was delicious. All staff were very friendly.
Cons: Too much noise. You could hear from your room kids playing at the pool. If you are looking for a quiet get-away weekend, this is not a good option.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great food and rooms
Cons: Since the beginning of my booking I requested a room with a king size, since I was celebrating my wedding anniversary, when we arrived the room had 2 beds, we requested a change and the hotel did nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view
Cons: The pool was cool all the time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is just amazing... in the middle of the forrest, you might get whatever you want; this is place is the best place to stay if you’re in Valle.
Cons: There’s nothing you would dislike about the place... the only thing you might regret is not coming and staying in.
7.9 Good
Pros: the view, tha air, the property landscape and activities. The cabin design, the terrace, well-equipped infrastructure, food was solid.
Cons: SPA was on repairs. No sauna, no swimming pool for adults. No good map coordination throughout the property, no zones for adults to rest - children are ok, but they occupy the only zone there is, for sunbathing - no escape. Waited more from SPA hotel, actually.

7.9 Good
Pros: Views were amazing, and all the property is really beautiful, decoration in the rooms is rustic with design details and beds were really comfortable
Cons: We stayed in the Junior Suite 191 and we could hear absolutely everything from the other rooms, it was specially annoying at 3am when we were trying to sleep. Noise isolation is practically none in this suite
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, the cabins were very cozy, the food at the restaurant delicious and the place spectacular
Cons: The pool was a little cold, other than that nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, good for golfers and tennis players. They have a kid’s club and very nice breakfast buffet.
Cons: Everything is old, could benefit from some serious remodeling. It’s pricey, the gym is quite small for such a big facility. Outside the breakfast buffet the food options were poor, specially if you don’t want to eat meat.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located right next to the lake with a beautiful view of the city of Valle de Bravo. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff is really helpful, and they make you fell like a king or a queen. The food was really good, at the hotel restaurant. Really great hotel, and I highly recommend it, if you are looking for some rexaltion.
Cons: The hotel is like 10 minutes center of Valle de Bravo, so you need to go in car or by taxi if you want to visit the city. The hotel is 100% safe, but the area around the hotel looks a bit sketchy.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the rooms and the restaurant and swimming pool is beautiful. We loved the organic design of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Unfortunately, the sound isolation of the rooms is non-existent and we could hear all the tvs, conversations and activities of our neighbors.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The spa is excellent and also the view from the rooms
Cons: The food is expensive
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location and the view
Cons: The room: • Bad ventilation, they even had to bring in a ventilator in the middle of the night. • Full of mosquitoes. • There was a big pool inside the room and which appeared to be a hot tub, but the water was cold. I even think the water contributed to the humidity inside the room. • WC was not working well. • WiFi wasn’t working well.

6.0 Good
Pros: Nice decoration, good room size, fireplace in the room. Parking provided.
Cons: Very noisy! Due to building characteristics you can hear literally everything from the upstairs guest room. Unfortunately upstairs are the family rooms with bunk beds. Water pressure was very low - the shower therefore barely deserves the name. Service is ok, but staff is at their limits. I. e. Milk was out at breakfast, but no-one cared to buy some at the shop next door. Needed to ask 3 times.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. Lots of selections on buffet. Fresh sliced fruit a plus. Made to order omelets, waffles and Mexican dishes like chilaquiles. Spacious room. Beautiful courtyard with lots of plants. Jacuzzi on roof, very private. Massages on site.
Cons: Very little space for hanging clothes in room. Room right next to street, a bit noisy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is really nice and the beds comfortable. Very clean and excellent location and the food is really good
Cons: The service in general is not very good, you cannot have an open check to charge to room
7.9 Good
Pros: Everyone was very pleasant. Food was good.
Cons: Internet very weak. Toilet needed careful attention to properly flush. Hotel needs to update its DVD collection.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The people who works here are super nice and kind.
Cons: The hot water misses at some point.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are clean and comfortable. It's pretty quiet and relaxing ambient.
Cons: The parking lot definitely needs lots of attention, without having to mention that if you have a full size truck wont fit. Hot water only last like the first minute that you're in the shower. After that it starts getting cold.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel views are just amazing. The room is very spacious and it has very nice amenities. Parking next to the hotel is also a plus, though it is limited. Walking to the center is very handy to eat out. The toiletries are very nice and the shower is very big. Overall a nice option for a romantic weekend away :-). There's a SPA also available at the hotel. It looks very professional and a nice addition. The pool area is very nice, cozy and they give you additional pool towels.
Cons: The WiFi on the interactive TV was not working properly (at least Netflix wasn't available). The restaurant doesn't have a huge variety of options. Breakfast only starts at 9am. Unfortunately we couldn't try it since we had to leave early.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to the bus station and center of the village by walk. Beautiful view on the lake from the room, restaurant and pool. Very comfortable room, with king size bed. Very nice pool, ideal to chill during the day of you want to rest. The spa is a plus in case you can for a retreat or to rest during the we. The staff is very nice and available.
Cons: Nothing Everything was perfect
5.8 Okay
Cons: Wifi did not work the whole weekend. Pool was too cold. At the restaurant service was poor, they did not provide napkins at the table unless you requested it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view, the room, the swimming pool.
Cons: The road in front of the hotel is pretty noisy. Breakfast was included but pretty weak.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Danzaluna is a beautiful little hotel. The room faced the lake with a balcony to sit and relax and take in the view. The staff was very friendly and the attached spa is a bonus!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location View Cozy
Cons: Breakfast options could be little better
8.3 Excellent
Pros: THE VIEW! The ultimate bonus of this hotel is it’s view, you get full lake view from your bed, balcony, pool area. The privacy is also a bonus and the stuff is helpful but not overly lingering. The room is spacious, good decor and very comfortable.
Cons: Our deal included breakfast but when we arrived we were informed that the hotel doesn’t provide breakfast at the moment but we will be given vauchers to go to some restaurant where we can get our breakfast. Very inconvenient! In relation to price and star rating there are some things that are disappointing: cleanliness must be improve and pillows should be more comfortable. There is cerious lack of attention to details (half empty mini bar, cande holder with no candle, flower base with water and no flowers,..).

7.5 Good
Pros: Location, rooms
Cons: Parking process is confusing (based on the staff guidance and was infront of the hotel) Other than that the place is really good Overall guest were noisy and the staff didn't take action
8.0 Excellent
Pros: wonderful setting breakfast included could have had more choices.
Cons: alcoholic drinks at the bar could have been more available not just at weekend
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: This is a good hotel, the staff is friendly and well trained. The location is excelente
Cons: They accidentally “misplaced” my reservation. They changed the type of room because the one I booked was already “payed” by another customer. Please note that I selected a room with a view and King size bedroom. But since the price we get at this website is lower than the one it actually cost, the moved me or threatened me to put me in a different hotel. They still charged me for my stay. They only offered me a “complimentary breakfast and parking” (no more than 50 USD). The real joke is that my original room stayed unoccupied the entire weekend. They just didn’t want to give me the room at a discount. When I told them that I was going to complain with booking the just didn’t care. This place is a fraudulent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed at was just beautiful beautiful view from the balcony the pool morning breakfast on the terrace just a lovely lovely place
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with tasteful design and friendly helpful staff. We loved having a view of the lake and town from the pool area and from our room where you can watch the paragliders sail down nearby. The hotel was also in a great location near the town center and overlooking the lake and mountains. It is a chic, sophisticated option for adults traveling and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional and helped us to arrange a dinner reservation as well as a private taxi to travel back to the airport. Thank you for a lovely stay to wrap up our trip in Mexico!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The shower and the view at breakfast.
Cons: Hot tub spa outside was shut off early evening. Not hot at 8:30 pm.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is great
Cons: I didn’t get the lake view from my room and my reservation said I was going to.

Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: The view of the waterfall, the walk along the river, the terrace. Safe parking.
Cons: No mirrors in the chalet apart from a small one in bathroom. No coffee or tea making facilities unless specially requested. Firewood was an extra charge so there was no heating included in the room fee.
7.1 Good
Cons: Restaurant food was really bad and since it was off season most of the hotel services were closed.
5.0 Okay
Pros: There is not much we liked in this hotel except for the receptionists and the guy who showed us the room, helped us find a quieter one and helped with the luggage. The bed is comfortable, and if your room is NOT by the main road, and NOT by the waterfall, then it's very quiet.
Cons: Hotel is described as luxury, and it is pricey. But all that was 50 years ago. Now it's just rundown, it smells of humidity, dirty in some areas, and the staff is mostly not very nice. 1- The description on booking says there is a sauna. There is not. There is a steam bath, but for a fee of 350$ for 15 min. And the lady who takes care of it makes a priority on her diner than offering something to her guests, so in the end we didn't even try it because she was just not even kind. 2- The description mentions there is a breakfast included, and there is, but if you don't eat eggs, there will not be another option to offer you. The staff of the restaurant is the least friendly I have met in Mexico. Even when they bring the toasts for 2 people, they will bring 3 slices... 3- There is a bar but the TV is so loud you can't speak, and there wasn't anyone behind the bar to propose drinks for the time we stayed. We asked in reception, they said someone would come, no one ever did. 4- All the windows of lobby and restaurant are disgusting, you barely see the waterfall. 5- The swimming pool area is disgusting. There is not indoor shower - just an outdoor one but now in November it was 6 degrees outside so everyone was going to the pool without a shower. The area is totally rundown, with mold everywhere 6- The room is awfully cold because nothing has insulation and if you want a woodfire to warm it up... it will be for a fee. Which when you already pay 150€ for a sunday night with 6 degrees outside, is just ridiculous. 7- The rooms have no ventilation. They smell of humidity and mold. They are old and cold and humid. The lighting is horrible, it feels like a 10$ room out of the middle of nowhere. This hotel is not worth more than 40€ a night and you pay 3 times this price. There are many much better options in Valle and Avandaro. Shame on the management of this hotel that seems to have forgotten how to take care of clients.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place! We had a wonderful weekend with the family
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location on the waterfall is excellent. The suites and casitas are well located to enjoy the sound of the waterfall. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having a wood fire in the fireplace in our room.
Cons: For the price, the maintenance and attention to detail was lacking. For example, the settee in the living room of the suite was stained and had a hole from cigarette burns. At breakfast, the waiter's uniform was stained. One of the place mats was sticky with jelly from the last guest. My selection from the dinner menu was reasonably good, but the breakfast was mediocre at best. Most importantly, from a safety perspective, the door to the terrace locks automatically upon partly closing the door from the outside, trapping the guest on the terrace. If there is no one else in the suite, the guest would have to yell for help to escape. This safety issue should be remedied immediately.
6.3 Good
Pros: It’s right in front of a waterfall which is very nice! Comfortable beds and linens. Everything clean. Congratulations to José Guadalupe (a guy that works the night shift at the front desk) he was very helpful.
Cons: The ladies at the front desk were not helpful at all. And the service at the restaurant was just terrible. It was empty and took them for hours to take the order and the same to bring the food.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Beautiful location, the people are very kind.
Cons: For the price what you pay, you can expect more. The quality of the food is terrible for the price you pay. Even the pool looks nice, but is very old and not very clean.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Location View
Cons: There were termites on te roof and all the residues fell onmy head at night When we got to our room it smelled terrible and it turned out that the bathroom was unbelievably dirty. It didn’t even had water running in the WC so the dirt was dry and awfully smelly. The remote control didn’t work, and when I called the general manager for assistance he apologized and offered us an american breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. Not pleased at all
5.4 Okay
Pros: Peaceful
Cons: Even on a warm day the room was very cold.... we had to have the fire lit and then were charged for the privilege!!!
4.6 Okay
Pros: The cabines
Cons: Tha is to cool and you need to buy your own fire wood
5.4 Okay
Cons: The price, its too small for the money
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel has very nice view. Also the territory of the hotel is very green. The room was cozy, we had almost our private garden near our room.
Cons: However the hotel was almost empty, we were still charged with quiet high price. Also reception often was not answering our calls. No breakfast available during workdays. We were charged for shower gel, which is quiet unusual for such hotels. The locations is 40 min by foot from the city center, which is ok, but not perfect.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing too over priced
Cons: Rooms are cold and you are force to buy fire logs in order to maintain the room warm.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place, peaceful, really nice staff, will definitely stay there again next time I’ll go to Valle de Bravo

Cons: We had some problems with the cold water in the restroom sometimes there was only cold water
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable hotel in a pleasant part of town. It was easy to walk to the main square (15-20 min), and a short taxi ride from the bus terminal. Impeccably clean room and swimming pool. A great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
Cons: No fan in room, so it was warm at night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good bed bath tv. Staff amable
Cons: It's mexico so it can be better sound proofed. Church firrs cannon. People make noise in pool
6.3 Good
Cons: I was charged extra , also had to go out for a walk the front door was closed there is a bell you ring for the staff to open the door it took them 25 min to come an open the door , had to call booking then i called the hotels office an no answer when the staff came the only thing they said is that they couldnt here the bell .
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms are nicely appointed and renovated. Bathroom is immaculate with very clean shower and great shower head. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will stay again.
Cons: I would love a desk to sit at. The dresser worked, but is uncomfortable to sit at with a laptop (I am working while traveling). The room is very spacious and has room for a small desk. This would be a subtle but meaningful improvement for those of us who are working while away.

Pros: Nice looking, like new!
Cons: The access is kind of difficult
7.5 Good
Pros: I understand that it is important to save resources in order to save money but it'd be a good idea a sign of the schedule to know the hours available for hot water

6.0 Good
Pros: Nice decoration, good room size, fireplace in the room.

Pros: The hotel is so cute and the view from our room was spectacular. The staff was super helpful.
