The staff were friendly, that’s about it
Rooms were freezing cold and had no proper heating system. Rooms were uncomfortable. Curtains didn’t fit properly so too much light coming in. Windows not double glazed so a lot of noise from the outside. Lift buttons didn’t work properly. Found hairs on the pillow and again on a towel that wasn’t mine. Hot water took nearly ten minutes to heat up. The maid tried to enter room at 8:30am to clean it, way too early and I was still in bed! Was meant to have a full breakfast included in room rate, had an email from them before I arrived saying there would be no full breakfast option and it would just be continental, I was annoyed but I accepted it. Turns out continental was literally some like warm coffee, some juice cartons and a few stale cakes on a tray. I could go on but I feel like this should be enough to warn others to avoid this hotel like the plague. I actually checked out two days early and booked a different hotel literally just down the road at an additional expense just so I could finally start to enjoy my trip to Vancouver
Room was good Altaf on reception went beyond to help.
One member of make staff on reception need to smile, breakfast was sparce , Not enough tv programs ( free )
Location to the Skytrain, Gastown, Robson and waterfront areas. Easy walking if you don’t want to try the cross-town buses.
The breakfast room was small but OK & had too many pastries but some yoghurt, apples & oranges.
How about a bathtub clogged with hair from previous users that WOULD NOT drain, but ever so SLOWLY.
