Service was great, and the premium economy seating was very comfortable. The food was good.
Organized boarding process, superb food, lovely crew, even arrived early!
This flight was even more crowded that Singapore to Taipei, an extra row of seats and an additional 4th seat in the middle made it extremely crowded. No leg room, no width for room. Terribly uncomfortable flight. The food was disgusting. We will never fly EVA Air again.
Movie selection was not as good as recent flights I've taken (EVA and other airlines).

The boarding was organized and efficient. The crew was very thoughtful and did not wake me up when meals were served. I was totally exhausted after 2 weeks of vacation with a tour group. So sleep was more important to me. The crew just left me a sticker telling me that food had been served and if I woke up hungry to contact the crew. I did have the last meal scheduled on board. Food was very mediocre. The scrambled egg and minced meat were too salty. The porridge was passable. I was disappointed because I have high expectations of food from Taiwan. I thought EVA being a Taiwan based airline would have served its customers better tasting food.

Crew's attitude can be better. I asked one crew member to help to put carry on baggage into overhead bin, but he was not willing to help. I needed help because my height is short. His attitude was bad.
On time. Easy online check-in. But always give me a middle economy seat with wacky passengers (or even a seat next to the toilet room). Also could be more courtier staff.
For a business class window passenger just to use toilet has to disturb the aisle passenger. Only the middle row has the freedom in this case. The flight from San Diego to Tokyo the seats were better positioned with the same configuration of 2-2-2.
In general, Japan Airlines was great! The flight attendants are kind and attentive. I was surprised to receive a late dinner on this flight, as most U.S. airlines do not serve a full meal. Because of this late meal, the lights in the cabin were not turned down until very late. I was hoping to sleep, but couldn't with the lights on so late. Also, this was a red-eye flight. Food was delicious and plentiful. Seats are very comfortable!
Check in procedure is harder than with other airlines, infotainment system is outdated
The crew was nice, the food could be better, and at least 2 bathroom stalls were out of service.
We asked for Hindu vegetarian meal in advance and the quality of the food was horrendous. Never flying JAL again!
Could had been better if they include in their menu some western food.
The plane was dirty, there was trash in the seat pocket in front of me.
Underpricer was terrible. They wanted to charge me $150 for a seat asignment. Kayak is responsible for letting this happen. Please let me know if this is going to happen in the future. If it is i will not use kayak in the future.
The self-baggage at Narita provided by JAL only worked for half my baggage, but the staff present at the counter were very quick to provide assistance. When I arrived in Vancouver, after waiting for ~25 minutes at the baggage carousel, a staff member with a JAL badge quite rudely came up and told me that there was no more baggage coming to the carousel, and I should double check that the baggage that wasn't mine, just in-case my baggage had somehow changed into a different one. After ~3-5 minutes more baggage came out onto the carousel, which included mine.
Very pleasant, look forward to flying with JAL again if the price is right.
Most relaxing long distance flight I have been on. And I have flown on many.
I would like to commend the staff from this flight. They all looked happy and I can tell they love what they are doing and constantly smiling while serving the passengers. Special mention to the guy FA in our section. I did not get his name but he is so far the best F.A I have ever encountered!

Liked that I could pick my seat and have a special meal without an extra charge. Luggage is reasonable for overseas trip. What could have been better is boarding and leaving on time.
Staff is friendly, great variety of entertainment, check in a little messy but due to people not listening. Overall a pleasant experience. Would use again in the future.
It felt like a new plane. Decent leg room in economy, food was fine, and the plane didn’t feel super dry and uncomfortable.
Better training to have qualified crews and services. My flight was from around 12 midnight Friday Taipei to Vancouver. After two hours first meal (2:00 Am -8:00 ) no crew available for even asking for some water. I was even willing to pay for water. For breakfast after 8 hours the only drink was tea and coffee no water or juice.
3 of the 4 flights had delays despite the weather being fine, but still managed to make all connections
Flight was delay almost 2 hours from Hong Kong to Taipei. Last minute gate change from 24 to 66. Long way walk. We need to run in the Taipei airport to catch our next flight from Taipei to Vancouver. That is so suck!

It was a good experience except that the flight has been rescheduled, bit disappointed but it happens.
Very bad. Flight got delayed and missed my transfer flight twice. Had to stay overnight in Hong Kong and the next flight booked was also delayed.i had the worst experience flying from Singapore to San Francisco. Lots of delays and rerouting.

First time tying out business class with this airline, hat a disappointment, never returning. We didn’t get the meal as requested from Singapore to HKG flight. While meals served connecting flight, crew takes meal order based off passenger membership status by giving the. Priority selection of meals. It was a battle, plain disappointment, not worth the hype, price, class as categorized/ advertised
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was great. Lots of movies to choose from as well as tv shows. Highly recommend.
Better. I took an aisle seat this time. Although the overheard compartment above the seat ahead of me kept opening up during flight.
I have a Peanut Allergy and the Steward staff were very accommodating in ensuring my safety as my allergy is life threatening. Very professional and so vested in their profession.
My seat was sold off to someone else. Had to wait 9 hours to catch the next filght. Definitely will never use Cathay Pacific again. Bad, very bad airline. will comment on google reviews too.
Warning- Air Canada makes it almost impossible to get a refund if a flight is cancelled. My flight was cancelled due to a damaged plane. This airline then rebooked me for a later flight. I went on line and tried to navigate their site to rebook to another within my original itinerary and I had thought I had changed it the first time, but since their site is nothing like our sites here in the states, you had to closely look for the links to complete the process. Then came the other problem. Trying to get a $45 refund on check in baggage, that I had paid for one day in advance. I tried calling the airline's customer service. They stated they are unable to process refunds for this. They then referred me to an on line site. This site required you to answer a multitude of drop down questions that are not applicable to a simple flight cancelation. Then right when I think I am done, it asks for an "incident number". I then eventually fly into Vancouver BC International Airport and speak to 3 Air Canada employees. They then tell me they cannot refund me my check in bagge fee. Once again, they refer me to this ridiculous site . They then give me a code to list and tell me to use the airport code, plus the letters AC followed by the flight # to list as an incident #. I tried this and guess what, it failed. Kayak, if you're listening. Something is very ethically wrong with Air Canada's refund process, especially when one of their planes is damaged and a flight is canceled. I have flown for many years, every week for a long time period with many airlines. Please post this so the public can see this accurate assessment of their airline customer service failure.
Flight was "over subscribed" which is Air Canada speak for "we cancelled the earlier yyc-yvr flight so we now have more bums than seats".
Great flight attendants, great luggage tracking, pretty good trans-pacific business class setup, food was modest. Only paid WiFi in business class unless you enter an Air Canada member number at the time of booking (e.g., no Star Alliance member number). Vegetarian food was tasty but had no protein. Overall, a good mainstream North American carrier flight experience. Acceptable if the price is right. Otherwise, I might choose an Asian carrier for elevated experience.
We had an unfortunate incident in the Maple Lounge. After five hours between flights including a delay to our return flight to Brisbane. I had two glasses of wine over four hours and when I asked for a cocktail the serving person refused (Saturday 15th August, 2200 hours), she refused me. She claimed to have counted my drinks, and said that 'as a senior person (me)' I could have a medical incident on the flight if I had any more to drink. This was an extremely confrunting experience which I have never had before. Quite literally, I had two medium glasses of (quite average) wine between about 6 pm and 10 pm. I had poured one other, very early on our arrival, for my wife.
We were delayed from 8am until 5pm. Was not given food vouchers,just left sitting in waiting area.
The flight was on time. The seats were ok and the Indian veg food was good. Overall good experience.
First time flier on Air Canada and absolutely loved it. Everything was so clean. Friendly staff. Easy boarding.
Planes arriving on time would be better. Apparently flights are delayed almost all the time, making your connection impossible then having to rebook on another flight at another time. There is no regard for customers who need to travel somewhere at a certain time. Connection flights are not held by the same airline, even though they know the plane can get there within 30 minutes or less. Airline staff is amazing, but the excuses Air Canada gives for delays is not truthful. Some messages will say mechanical problems and the next message for the same plane will say air traffic control issues. So what is true? They don't need to refund anyone if they use these two excuses. So if travel from B.C. to Montreal with delays like this is common, I will consider not flying there anymore. When we missed our connecting flight, the next flight had one seat (4.5 hours later) and the next flight was a red eye at 10:45. Big difference from our 12:15 initial flight.
Crew are excellent. I wish they have personal care kit on board
Our Air Canada connecting flight to LAX was 45 minutes late which meant we could not make our flight from LAX to Aspen. Therefore we had to pay another $800 to get different flights so we would be home that day. So sick of late flights. Why have a schedule if you never abide by it?
