Pros: Beautiful ornate rooms and common areas, without feeling old fashioned. Clean and well kept. Service all around was top notch. Catered to our needs, friendly and communicative without being intrusive. Perfect! Location is fantastic, just minutes from downtown, parliament, the water, Cook St. Village and Dallas Road walkway.

Cons: We stood in line for 15 minutes (I counted) while ONE staff member dealt with ONE check-in ahead of us. (And there were people behind us...). Sure, she apologized when it was my turn, but who cares? Why didn't she call another staff member to check in others and speed things up? Why wasn't I offered an upgrade, or free drink at the restaurant, or one day free parking, or something as compensation? And we were staying 3 nights. Nope. A perfunctory apology was all I got. And don't tell me that a manager somewhere wasn't monitoring the various security cameras which observe that check in desk, so they knew - but apparently didn't care. Shameful. Very, very disappointing for a supposed luxury hotel.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect -- walking distance to both Beacon Hill Park (which your staff recommended, and we loved) and the waterfront and everything we wanted to see in the city. We enjoyed the spacious, clean accommodations. I really liked the oscillating fans, which were quiet and efficient. We appreciated the opportunity to enjoy the delicious chocolate toffee for free because we declined to have our linens replaced (which we would have done anyway, to support the environment). My daughter loved the private movie theater.
Cons: Not the most comfortable bed - the mattress was a bit too hard, and the pillows way too over-stuffed.

Pros: Our room should have included a washer and dryer but it was out for service. The hotel did our laundry for free with a quick turn around. This hotel is in a fantastic location, we highly recommend it.

Pros: I loved this hotel- it felt so luxurious with out the price tag. We had deluxe suite and we will definitely return.. It was close to the harbour and we could walk everywhere. The soaker tub was very relaxing, nice little touches like washer dryer and ipad doc made it even better We enjoyed it all very immensely
Cons: fireplace didn't work in either room and the hot tub jets were not very strong

Pros: Excellent hosts, beautiful rooms, super-yummy food, wonderful location within walking distance of much that Victoria has to offer!
Cons: No showers, just beautiful baths, if that matters to you. My allergies to dust/pets reacted slightly (though not too bad).
