Did not have a car. Required me to run my credit card again. Could not give me a receipt. Their procedure was that I should wait on the floor with 20 plus other people. I eventually got a car with another company. Could not cancel my "reservation" or "rental" with Thrifty. Not looking forward to continuing to have to fight to not pay for the product (rental car) that they could not and did not provide.
Bad. At pickup, they directed me to a car, and as I was leaving, they told me I was in the wrong car (even though I went to the exact space, and model car). They then switched me to a smaller car. I didn’t get a chance to look at the car though until after I drove off because they switched me in the exit line. So I had to turn back around and ask for the model size bigger. The guy didn’t believe me when I said the car was the wrong model size. Luckily, a manager confirmed I was right and switched me to a bigger model. However, that car stunk of smoke so I asked for a different one. They finally placed me in a minivan. Not ideal, but fine. Of course, as I was leaving, I was again stopped and told I was in the wrong car and had to tell the story over again. At return, the guy just yelled to me to leave the keys and they’d send a receipt. It’s been over 12 hours, and still no receipt or confirmation of drop off.
Rude, unhelpful, unprofessional staff. The desk was abandoned when I got there and I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking to be helped. That place needs a new manager and everyone working that service counter needs customer service training. Will not be using Thrifty again.
I'm still waiting for receipt. The pick up was less than desired as no one present when going to select a car and there was an issue with car during whole rental. Poor first and last impressions.
Many hidden fees that I was not informed of !! Worst company to rent from !! NEVER AGAIN
No cars available, despite the reservation. Given an electric vehicle that wasn’t fully charged, and a 30 dollar credit for a future rental. Spent hours charging the car. Returned it at 40% and was charged a $35 feel because it wasn’t charged fully. I was not informed of the fee until I got my bill by email. The car was great but the hidden costs doubled what I intended to pay.
