Pros: The building was just built earlier this year, but was already showing signs of wear and lack of upkeep. Our room was comfortable and quiet on the back side of the building. The hallways, stairways, and elevators looked like they had not be vacuumed or cleaned in a week. There was cracker crumbs on the carpet next to the bed. There were some very noisy and guest staying on our floor the slammed doors and yelled in the hall most of the night.
I will not stay there again.

Pros: Bed & linens were very nice & comfortable. We appreciated they let us check in early after a long drive from the cruise ship in Whittier. Room was nicely decorated & everything worked fine. Pros: We booked a room here because it was listed as pet friendly. We paid and our reservation was confirmed. When we checked in we were told that thefe was an additional fee of 50.00 per night for our dog. This practically doubled the cost for us. We were fortunately able to cancel with a full refund and found another hotel - microtel - that was a little more pet friendly. They charged 10.00 per nite extra for the dog which was much more affordable. I wish these hotels would all list these additional fees when you book

Pros: I booked my room on hotel.com so I paid $57 a night. Stayed in room 1504. For whatever reason I was upgraded to their top floor with a kitchenette, two queen sized beds, and a view of the mountains and water. (I booked a regular 1 queen bed room).
The restaurant was really good but very pricey! The restaurant staff is so nice and super great. Food and drinks were tasty!
I had the shuttle pick me up from the airport at 3:30am- takes about 20-30 mins for them to get there. They said the reason for the wait is that they were warming the van up (it was warm). The guy driving the van was extremely nice he even offered to make a breakfast run for me!
If you're driving parking is easy and right out front of the building.
Very close to downtown - if it weren't freezing we could have walked about 3-5 blocks to get to downtown!
I would probably stay here again just because I like to travel cheap and this is the cheapest 3 star hotel in Anchorage. I am staying here again in April, will right another review!
