Cons: Very pricey.

Cons: Currently the construction in town is a bit challenging.

Cons: We stayed in room 7025. Elevator noise was loud all night. Not people getting in/out - it was mechanical clunking - loud and random

Cons: No complementary earplugs, People's conversations passing by would echo down hallway throughout the night.

Cons: the parking with the valet service is quite expensive

Cons: They double charged me for parking but fixed it immediately when I pointed it out.

Cons: Needs storage in room - bathrooms should be updated. Felt old dingy smelled terrible and moldy.

Cons: We didn't make use of the pool as it was very busy with no social distancing going on. AC couldn't keep up with the heat. We had to request a fan to our room to be able to sleep, but the bearings on it were shot so it made a loud grinding noise for about an hour before it warmed up. The bed is very low profile. We had mixed opinions about it.

Cons: If I had one area of improvement, it’d be the lighting in the bathroom. Great modern look to the bathroom but the lighting, even turned up to as bright as it could go, left a bit to be desired-especially for someone putting on make-up and just preparing to look their best.

Cons: The decor of the hotel is a little weird and really not our style....but I guess you are just staying in a bed to sleep at night so this is really not much of an important point..

Cons: Our bed was really stiff. I walked away with my back hurting.

Cons: There was only valet parking and costed 40$

Cons: You could here the elevator equipment and cars driving by on the streets. Also, there was a wet carpet spot that we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from.

Cons: The rooms have that very contemporary “hipster experience” feel but end up being super buggy. The IPTV box mounted behind my tv fell and broke. The lights behind the headboard of my bed, a nifty designer touch, stayed on all night. The shower doesn’t actually keep water in. None of these are dealbreakers, taken in aggregate though it feels like it’s an aesthetic bolted on to an old hotel (a Radisson, it turns out)

Cons: Housekeeping sometimes didn't supply enough shampoo for 2 people.

Cons: Parking says $29 a day for guests (actually $37.89 after all fees). I was charged for valet parking, which I never used so I had to call and dispute it. There was a party going on down the hall which did not bother us, until we got a voicemail saying we were going to get kicked out if we get another noise complaint in the morning from management on the first night. We decided to stay away from the hotel for as long as possible to be safe. We asked for a specific room type. Just in case, called the hotel before we arrived to make sure it was ready. They confirmed everything was ready. Once we arrived, they put us in a different room than requested and said it was the best they could do.

Cons: Expensive Valet.

Cons: Everything was perfect.

Cons: I alway bring my own pillow if I can, the ones they have are uncomfortable.

Cons: It could have come with a fridge instead of having to request it and bottled water.

Cons: The homeless people around the hotel. You were more then scared to even go outside during the day let alone at night.

Cons: They rose to the challenge of some construction challenges with a new building and quickly got me moved to a new room and were empathetic and understanding.

Cons: As other peoole mentioned, you probably will be passing by the homeless shelter anytime you travel South (rainey, 6th, the river). It didn't feel dangerous but I probably would be nervous walking past there alone at night.

Cons: Upsold to "lake view" room where you can really only see a sliver of the lake. It should be called "pool view" and on the weekend we stayed, the "pool view" is not relaxing or romantic. The rooms aren't quiet, you can hear everything that happens in the hallway. Valet was expensive ($36 + tip in Austin!) and slow due to volume of folks checking out. Cars are parked in an uncovered lot across the street.

Cons: If you stay close to Rainey street be prepared not to sleep- clubs and bars from down below will keep you up-music was very loud.

Cons: it was hard to get used to no shower door, but workable.

Cons: Our bathrooms got clogged twice (not by any extra doing on our part). And our refrigerator never got cold so leftovers had to get thrown away from our dinner earlier that day. Geraldine's gets pretty packed at night, at least inside & there's one fireplace outside we tried to huddle around to keep warm.

Cons: The lack of it

Cons: Not really the hotels fault but the pool area is busy and people get there early to 'reserve' sun lounges and then go back to their rooms. I hate this practice, if you're not using the sun lounge you shouldn't be able to 'save' it. It's selfish and childish.

Cons: People in hall and next door making tons of noise at 4 am.

Cons: Notified us in advance as to all the construction that was gonna be occurring during our stay. 7:30am Sunday & Monday was woken up by construction going on outside my window. So much for a peaceful sleep
