Pros: Gluten free and vegan very well catered for at breakfast; Lovely welcome with hot drinks and cake on arrival; Location is superb.
Cons: Rooms and bathrooms weren't immaculately clean; Bedroom door hadn't been locked one day after bed being made; Would be great for owners to have a greater understanding of intolerances - I am gluten free and was catered for well, but then also offered dairy free options...; Shower became a dribble if water was being used elsewhere in the property.

Also there were plenty of places to go in the evening. Provided everything we needed, a good breakfast, comfortable room and very accommodating, informative and friendly owners. A good stock of maps, books if needed and a comfortable lounge. We could also bring back a take away and eat in the dining area and this saved cost. Yes, we would return.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Location - Great base to visit the peaks of Snowdonia
Cons: N/A
5.0 Okay
Pros: The cleanliness and style of the room was very good and the food was good
Cons: It was a little difficult to find reception to check-in as it was to one side amongst all the various eating areas. Although we only stayed for one night, in the stables lodge, the time we spent in our room was constantly being disturbed by other guests, slamming their doors shut, which was not only loud but caused our door to rattle each time and there were children or a child that constantly and noisily ran up and down the passage outside our door and they even knocked on our door and then ran away. One of the overhead reading lights did not work. The breakfast was rather expensive, therefore we chose not to have breakfast there. Would have loved to have stayed in the main part of the hotel, rather than the stables lodge, but the tariff was too expensive when converted to Australian dollars
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: The Bells going from 4am and 5am and 6 am and 7am there no need for this

Pros: Great Location, friendly staff, great Breakfast

Pros: Had a lovely authentic feel which made our stay feel very cosy. Perfect location for going into town but not having to worry about the busy tourist feel in the centre of Betws-y-Coed. Staff were lovely and were always going out of their way to help, either to make our stay more comfortable or help us make the most of our trip with their knowledge of the area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice clean and friendly property. Gary and his team did an excellent job of greeting me and my group. The beds were comfortable, the toilets, bathroom and showers were clean with hot running water. The communal kitchen/dining room was well equipped and clean. Parking was good for our Motorcycles they also had a drying room, not that we needed it as it was beautiful weather. Off the beaten track you would expect plenty of space in the restaurant. But if you don’t book a table in advance you will be disappointed as the restaurant was full. The food was good, as was the drink choice.
Cons: Nowt. I was happy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable bunkhouse above a lovely little bar with very friendly atmosphere . Would definitely stay again.

Cons: The room was a bit dated and tired (but was very clean and good value)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well positioned in the centre of Betwsy Co-Ed. Staff friendly, breakfast was very nice too. Use of the jacuzzi/sauna is a nice touch at a small cost after walking. Good value place to stay and the evening meals were nice
Cons: The Yale lock on the room door (room 11) was very loose and felt like it was going to drop off. Reported it on arrival but this wasn't looked at in 3 days of staying so felt like the room wasn't as secure as it could have been. The only other thing was the tv was the smallest tv I have seen but didn't spoil the holiday

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good price. Clean. Comfortable bunkhouse. Good hotel with bar and pool table.

Cons: Breakfast was small quantity
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location and friendly staff . The breakfast was fresh and lovely , hot and tasty.
Cons: There was no available parking in the car park upon arrival , but we arrived late so that was maybe why. We were also going back for our honeymoon following the proposal been in the hotel 2 years previously. staff were aware as we had e mailed and asked for a bottle of Prosecco to be ready for our room, we had to go to the bar and ask for it upon arrival and it would have been nice to have had it sent up upon our arrival , along with a welcome back or congratulations, but it was still a lovely honeymoon in any case and the staff were friendly and helpful x

Pros: We've been visiting Betws-y-Coed for 20 years but it was the first time that we stayed at this hotel. The hotel location, the room quality and the staff hospitality were all excellent. The evening meal however, exceeded all expectations and was absolutely mouth-watering, hats off to the chef. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again.
