Pros: You don't even get the second foot in the door before you're greeted by friendly and welcoming staff waiting to attend to your every need.
The breakfast (if you choose to have it included) is a fresh, healthy and great quality variety also with impeccable service and choices.
The rooms are adequately sized and the beds and pillows are quite plush. There are slippers and robes for your added comfort and the tea selection in the room is great.
The bathrooms are fully equipped and have a very modern and Chiq decor.
Room service was a bit costly (as it is with most hotels) but this was because while the quality of the food was great and fresh, I really didn't enjoy the flavor.
It is conveniently located between the trams and close to the Brussels midi station. Also, on Rue Louise there are all the major high end brands for clothing, jewelry, shoes and perfume, there are chocolatiers and other typically European magazines.
Once you head out the revolving doors of Rue du Châtelain, and turn right, you will see that there are many cafés, bars, bistros, and magazines (shops) along the way. The cuisine is mainly, Italian, French and English, and there are Asian restaurants and a conveniently located liquor store to get your Belgian beer.
There's also a food store further down.
In the opposite direction, about a 30 min stroll away, there is the European Parliament, and the Grande Place that hosts many of the museums, a must see is the Music Museum, and a must have is the Belgian chips/fries and waffles.
Hopefully this helps!

Pros: We came in from Amsterdam where there was no A/C during a heat wave. We took the Thalys speed train to Brussells and the Pullman is attached to the train station which was awesome. It has A/C and the room is modern and clean, the bathroom is modern and the size was enough for us. And there's a full service Haagen-Daz right to it. The hotel restaurant is also very classy. The bartenders were wonderful. The drinks, coffee, food were all good.
